Man I’m never joining the mafia, imagine you’ve demonstrated to the police you’re not going to talk, everyone close to you knows your character and knows you won’t talk…but the guys you’ve been loyal to your whole life decide you gotta die just incase. F that.
Yeah, that is BS and it happened a lot. I doubt they mention that in the ceremony of getting made that even though you've been loyal, you're going to probably get whacked just in case. Just the paranoia and stress doesn't seem worth it. Too many nutcases get made, and now you are forced to associate with fellow members even if you don't like or trust them. It's not an organic circle of friends you make in a regular society. Being stuck in the company of a guy like Roy Demeo would suck. Loyalty gets thrown out the window when money is involved. Money is their god.
Yep, if you can survive the mafia without having PTSD, then you are lucky or have no fear and empathy. Not what I would wish for anyone I care about.

What wound up happening was, he wasn't kicking up to the local shot-caller's. And on top of that, he supposedly hit a Russian mob-controlled strip joint. He'd told the reporter he was going to do the job, and soon after, he disappeared. The reporter never heard from him again, and the Russian's never reported it to the police, either. Imagine cheating on the Boss of Bosses daughter 🤣
Like the movie The Godfather, only if you are planning a murder getting lucky for your Boss, or you are just really stupid
Sanny the bull saus they got members of the DeMeo crew to whack Roy
i remember as a kid living in New york manhatten when "sammy the Bull made confession, it was published in book form later
Was the Editor on drugs when he did this?
I personally liked the edit
And how can it be that USA is only 250 years old!
And Denmark is 2 million years old!!
How did it become a country?
Uhhhh, no Denmark is definitely not 2 million years old. Tf are you talking about ?
You can only get to Denmark by train from NYC. 😂
@@Ludvig-Tintin-Hansen-1312 The Vikings and the Yanquies.
I think Abe Reles and his crew would have thought twice about going after Roy , Joey and Anthony. Any time Piza was ordered by this crew you know some poor git was hanging upside down over a bath and soon to be dispatched in pieces to the local refuse site.
They couldve chosen actors that slightly resembled the real life people. Lol look at Demeo and Testa
The casting for demeo is terrible
@frankiephenomanal it truly is. It's like they just told the casting agent "yeah just get someone that's going for a godfather role" and that's it.
DeMeo always struck me as a serial killer who happened to be a mobster.
This is the same documentary. It is on Real Crime and Best Documentaries.
Historical Perspective of Police Corruption in New York City
sadly the cops were in on it ivthink that's why feds had to move in. as mafia guys always said feds are beyond corruption. and really squeaky clean. while ny finest were always known to be bribed and something to do with the unions.
How much more betrayal can I take
The wine makes you emotional, Paulie. Have a breadstick.
@@johnofmalta 😂😂😂
The darkness underneath podcast does a more in depth series on the demeo crew.
15:20 should be more like...Cats will 'meow'
The mob is a cannibal turning on itself every step of the way. Imagine the other bosses voting to take out Paul while other members of the family knew and went along with it yet he was thinking he's untouchable.
What I would like to know is how did the guy know that it wasn't a lamb with the tattoo on his leg? I guess it all depends on how hungry you are😂😂😂😂
The doc is good, the sound mixing is bad. The music is way too loud in places
Very sick man that scared even ghe toughest gangsters!😮
What a story
Existe algún film basada en la vida de este tipo?
INSIDE MAN is one, and GEMINI LOUNGE is another. Both came out in 2023. I haven't seen them yet. Also, the film, ICEMAN, has scenes with DeMeo character but more with Nino Gaggi.
I've been wanting to see a movie about DeMeo forever. I have never seen one and i can't understand why thi guy isn't more popular than people like Gotti with all the people him and his crew killed and how brutal he was. The most popular mobsters that we know of were all afraid of this guy.

PASTOr John Anosike miracle cancer
apostle Katryn Krick miracle cancer
DeMeo was not wearing suits often, not yakking on the phone in a suit.
As usual, don’t need all this music cranked up…it should be way in the background.
Is not even that bad
I like the Shawn Ryan show. Very interesting subject matter
Something was wrong in his brain
That must be the understatement of the Century, Debra!!. Well, OF COURSE, honey!
Ya think?
It's called psychopathy.
The actor playing Roy demeo looks nothing like him demeo was a heavy set guy
They couldn't afford Marlon Brando.
I read the book, i think it was called "Murder Machine" but this crew was litterally filled with psychopaths !
No ostin in ton min of. Xo
Is Selwyn Raab in this? I'll only watch if Selwyn is in it.
