Casino was one of my favourite mob films ever, Joe Pesci nailed it when he played Santoro (Spilotro) and you have earned yourself a new subscriber Scott, when it comes to mob history your the man brother you really are, I’ll be looking forward to listening to more of your videos buddy, thanks for posting this on UA-cam for us all to listen to. Stay safe buddy from Stevie boy in Britain.
Not sure how true it is, but I heard in an interview that Tony showed up unannounced to Accardo's California home and more or less demanded that he be given the position/title of Boss and or Front Boss and JB not long after approved the hit. Again, not sure if any of that is true but pissing off Accardo was a death sentence
JB told him, "I agree. I'll talk to Obrien and tell him to call a meeting to make the announcement. Wait in Vegas, they'll call you when the mert is set." Bada bing bada bang bada boom Tony is happy to get the call from Chicago to meet up with all his old buddies at some guy's house in Bensenville. He was probably all choked up thinking that his little brother was going to attend his coronation as king of Chicago mob.
I was shocked when I looked up the true story of Lefty and Tony and Gerry about how close the movie was to reality, and how actually the movie might have toned some of it down.
Always been a huge fan of Mr. Bernstein. I give you a ton of credit of how you have handled yourself concerning the situation with Gunner. Integrity is number one and that is how you have carried yourself. I have read most of your books. I have some questions about Mafia Prince. I consider myself a mafia historian. But anyway thank you for your dedication and hard work you put into your craft. You could have easily been a lawyer which I believe at one point you were working towards but decided to go another direction. Your a class act brother. Take care and good luck man.
I was a fan of Frank Cullotta's channel. He worked under Spilotro and was part of the 'Hole in the Wall' burglary gang. Unfortunately he died during the pandemic.
Don't forget NYC/5 Families, Buffalo, Philly/Pittsburgh/Scranton, etc by way of Russell Buffalino, Trafficante in Tampa got a cut, Marcello in New Orleans got a cut. The casinos were divided among the most powerful families in the country. I believe Lansky got a cut as well.
Pretty interesting Nicky Scarfo and John Gotti serving time at the same time in Marion. I read they disliked one another for many reasons. Gotti took Scarfo down as boss and obviously Joey M had something to do with that by allegedly shooting Nicky Jr. also when on the streets Scarfo Sr aligned himself with Chin and chin naming him boss. But would be cool to know how Gotti and Scarfo interacted. That’s it from me brother. Lol take care
Great stuff guys. I would love to hear more about Joey Hanson and Chris Petti, they were fascinating characters. Maybe you guys can do a show on all the nonItalian members Who were in positions of power in the outfit.
Tony spilotro was just technically a soldier but informally a crew boss?... there are wiretaps of allen dorfman in which the transcripts and the audio are discussed by former Kansas City police detective Gary Jenkins who was involved in the actual Casino skim investigation on his website gangland wire . On those wiretaps alendorfman said Tony Spilotro was at the top of the hierarchy before he moved to Las Vegas and was Joey aiuppa s next in line . Now people could believe the word of a man that was close to the very top bosses and in control of a billion dollar pension fund or the word of a man that was a $40,000 a year Hitman from Chinatown who was never near the upper echelon his whole career. There are Google Images of Tony spilotro's younger brother Michael who was allegedly not made on hunting trips with Joey aiuppa in Mexico. There are also surveillance reports of Tony Spilotro meeting with Tony Accardo at Lacoste to Health Spa in Southern California with the head of the whole Teamsters Frank Fitzsimmons.
It’s a lot more common than you think. It’s just that typically the media does it pay heed to many of those nonItalian gangsters from New York. I’m not sure why but they don’t.
I watched your whole broadcast and never once did I hear you mention Frank colada who was Tony's palatro's best friend growing up and brought him out to Las Vegas to earn which they had the Hole in the Wall Gang and Frank a lot of did a couple hits for him the guy who was shot in the swimming pool and who rolled on Tony Spilotro
People always bring up that Micheal was going to be a made man and a promotion for Tony that is pure crap they are just storys or from the media at the time, Tony got a call for a meeting with his brother which they both wondered but also fear in there minds they will be killed thats why Micheal told his wife if we are not back by 9pm that night something is wrong
Just curious what your thoughts are on The last trial of John Gotti, when king rat Gravano turned. Basically Judge Glasser denied Gotti and Frankie Loc , oh yeah also king rat before he flipped, their lawyer’s. So this isn’t the platform but so many questionable decisions to turn the tables against Gotti and Frankie Loc. It eventually came out Gravano knew Frankie had nothing to do with Paul C murder. At that point he wasn’t on the Gambino administration. Idk man . Gotti clearly made a lot of mistakes as boss but it’s my opinion Mr. Gotti knew it was coming to an end and just said f($@ it. Come report to the Revinte. Mis spelled that.
Brother , I wrote one of the most comprehensive Chi Outfit/Tony Spilotro books ever published. I have as much real knowledge on the subject as anyone who wasn’t there in real time
It's good to see Bam Margera sober and working again..
😁😁
Ya I agree put on some weight with the age

The actor that played the unnamed hitman in the movie that killed Nance in Costa Rica was actually Frank Cullotta making a cameo.
I love it when he says "Jag-off" everytime he kills someone hehehe
@@Guillermo_Carratero In an interview cullota said he told deniro "no no call him jagoff, in NY you say jerk off, in Chicago we say jagoffffff!" lol

Great show, you covered the family secrets trial...cool I went to the trial and sat in court in this legendary trial!
Fascinating. Finally we get confirmation of what has been rumored for years across America. This dork was there.
Really good episode!
Is it true that Gunner was flying out to Vegas at 12 years old as a representative for Tony Jack?
Been waiting all week for you guys to drop. Let's go!!! Thanks 🙏

That unnamed Hitman in Costa Rica was supposedly Frank cullada
I was a fan of Frank Cullotta's channel. He worked under Spilotro and was part of the 'Hole in the Wall' burglary gang. Unfortunately he died during the pandemic.
Fontana California, my city mentioned lol. Never thought of Cosa Nostra here. We supposedly have a house that Al Capone had built.
What up Scott!?
What up Jimmy!?

I got a cut too. Did you get your cut?
lansky was, by a large margin the smartest mob guy!
If you look at the history of the Mafia there are three categories.Prison death or leave the life. What goes around comes around. It's really sad.
Everyone's talking mob hits what about serial killers? They gotta eat too, that old lake bed oughta spit up a heck of a lot more.Good video

I believe Paul Anka wrote My Way for Sinatra. I believe he did…. I’m not 100%…
slightly wrong.. it was a French song before, and Paul Anka wrote the English lyrics to the tune...
Good to see bam doing Whatever the F he wants hope all is well !
When are you having Gunner on?
Partially true on Vandermark. He was the slot skim guy
Do you know of any links between Detroit and central Indiana. I believe a teamster boss running things for the partnership.
Actually, I believe that Joe Watts who was a German was one of Gotti Sr’s main guys so NY did have nonItalians in high positions.
It’s a lot more common than you think. It’s just that typically the media does it pay heed to many of those nonItalian gangsters from New York. I’m not sure why but they don’t.
Is bam here every time it just this time?
Year later and nothing new or anything else found
Vandermark left when the fbi said he skimmed 7 million. He only turned in 4 million to Chicago
I see you watch A&E 😂🙄

crazy to think how many rotting bodies have been in californias tap water.
Yes but how many bodies do u think are in Lake Michigan from the outfit where Chicago gets it’s drinking water from ?
@@davegrimpe9052 i didnt even think of that, likely alot.

Norman [ Lefty ] , and Frankie were not what they portrayed themselves to be, nor what/who you think they were.
Frank cullotta said Tony was doing coke he would know so sounds accurate.

Hbo Gotti hands down most 🤌realistic
It’s the most realistic? It may be but what are you basing that on?
Yup and if u dig up a desert u going find sum bodies so how is it news
Scott not true about his brother he wasn't supposed to be there but he happened to go with Tony
Not true, they had to use mike to get Tony to come in.
@@SayerofThings how do you know?
his brother wasnt really main target they knew he would come after whoever was responsible for tonys death so he got included with it
they didn’t want any problems to come from tonys death so they got michael also
Good show except for the movie quotes. (Pet peev)
I can't even listen to this. The speaker needs a script. The huge pauses while he is thinking is absurd.
Maybe he be sleeping with fishes
Seriously who are you going to prosecute? Nobody is alive. Love the history but please nobody is alive
