Hello Jason Great video . There are plenty of grass cutting videos on YT. I think you are the only one who does hedge cutting and with so much care. Beautifully done. You are The Master of Hedge cutting.👌👍
Vin S thanks mate, about 40/50% of my work is hedges and probably my favourite jobs to do too, so plenty more hedge videos to come lol, I do the odd grass video, but only dust here at moment, thanks again, and take care mate 👍👍👍
Beautiful work. I'm impressed that you keep the top so level without any measuring aid or string line. I've even seen a laser used. You have a great eye.
Thats very cool. The little scoop attachment. I have never seen anything that here in the US. Alot of times I have to shake up the shrubs to get those trimmings off.
thegeordiefellwalker thanks Geordie, think most hedges have one bit that's never as good as it should be, hope your busy mate and enjoying the sunshine. Don't work to hard though mate 👍👍
Green Barrow Garden Services ha ha trying to catch you up mate 👍, couldn't believe the blower is still going lol. Take care Matt, good to see your getting videos up mate👌🤔
Phil S thank Phil, I love the short hedge cutter, it's always first choice, yes I made it, it's not hard to do, just shorter tube and drive shaft, think I did a video on how I made it. Thanks mate 👍👍👍👍
Great video! I'm watching from the US. My husband and I have a little"mom and pop" mowing business, and I'm the weed whacker. I love your face mask...really have to get one. Do you like it? Good job with the hedge, too.
Safety has to come first I would say, if safety glasses are not close fitting stuff can fly under or fall through the gap,but masks are better with Strimmers.
Did you find anything to use over the past 9 months? There's got to be something cheap which can be re-purposed and light weight. I'm thinking maybe the bottom of an old lawnmower grass catcher...
Wow what a brilliant job. I know how hard this is, I'm still using hedge trimmers by hand. What is the attachment you have put on . Is that just a whipper snipper with attachment.
Russell Downes Downes hi, that's a hard question, as it's a bit of a hi bread, it's a husqvarna 122c strimmer, which I change the shaft and put a multi tool shaft on, can't remember prices age thing lol. Hope that helps 👍
You did an amazing job on that hedge. What kind of plant is it? Here in the U.S. (the southern part) we have limited amount of plants that can take the heat and grow like that. I still cut mine by hand on a ladder, but my husband is saying the day for a trimmer is coming (it is about 7ft tall now) Never heard of the one you have so I have some research to do. It will have to have that guard thing since I am the "nut" that hates the little dead pieces in my hedge. Thanks for the great video ! ✌🏻❤
Hi Jason, Where did you get the short pole from for the Hedge Trimmer attachment? It was in your video for the Titan multi tool. I could really do with one
Mathew Wooloff hi, I made them, I did a video about 6 months ago ish which may help, but think some one does them for sthil on eBay so iv heard. Hope that helps 👍👍
Just wondering why not using a short machine like an stihl t version or something for the side and the long machine for the top it way quicker and effective??
bidders77 thanks bidders, can't totally remember, but think it was a old plastic container I cut the side out, put it in same hot water and curved it. Glad you enjoyed mate 👍👍
brilliant! i am loving my rope handles i put on my hedgecutters that i nicked off one of your vids. keep it up mate, i love your ingenuity! something really satisfying about repurposing something or making improvements to stuff
I have a privet hedge which although in good condition and kept trimmed is really too wide for my small front garden- it's about 4ft from front to back but only 4ft high! Can I cut it hard back from one side closer to the central trunks? Will it recover? The side I want to cut is the house facing side, which also gets less sun and is a bit sparser than the front. I don't want to be looking out on a brown hedge forever more if I get it wrong! so any advice appreciated... if I can cut it hard back, is there a better time of year to do so?
A link for the, hendon 8foot tripod ladder I use.

Cool hedge trimmers, what’s the brand or series?
Stihl 👍
nice one pal. can i ask where you dispose of the cuttings usually. Daz
Where to get the shovel attachment for the blazed
Do you ever do a design rather than a straight cut? That long hedge by the driveway would look great with a scalloped edge on the top.
Love the catcher 👍
Andrew Robinson thank you, it's simply but makes life easier some days.
Take care mate 👍👍
Did you make the catcher???
@@CASG93 thats what I would like to know to.
I See your using wolf garten tools are they good and what of there tools do you have?
hey mate what have you used for the catcher thingy on the hedge trimmer
Good video Jason,I like the idea of the short handled hedgecuttter a lot easier to handle on the sides did you adapt it yourself
Phil S thank Phil, I love the short hedge cutter, it's always first choice, yes I made it, it's not hard to do, just shorter tube and drive shaft, think I did a video on how I made it.
Thanks mate 👍👍👍👍
Que precio tiene esa maquinaria
full helmet for hedge cutting, love it
Jokur thanks for watching, I ware the helmet even not necessary on a privet as the ear defenders are so good and comfortable.
👍👍
How do you get rid of the waste, do you leave it there or shred it ?
Great video! I'm watching from the US. My husband and I have a little"mom and pop" mowing business, and I'm the weed whacker. I love your face mask...really have to get one. Do you like it? Good job with the hedge, too.

@@jasongardener3425 you
Have you ever seen a product called the " Easy Lift Harness"? It looks like it would really make a big trimming job a lot easier.
very nicely done indeed
How much do you charge for something like this

What did you end up charging them
What tool were you using
Did you blow the waste under the hedge yea
All raked up, just dusty bits blow back in
@@jasongardener3425 what was that attachment called for scooping the cuttings off the top
Hi Jason, Where did you get the short pole from for the Hedge Trimmer attachment? It was in your video for the Titan multi tool.

What’s that attached hedger blades
What is the plant ?
What's the name of that.bush? /plant?
TaureanKing privet. It’s a non-native invasive species that spreads like the plague if left unchecked. Another fun unwanted import from China
@@BexnRN thanks!
You are amazing!
Very nice work keep it up :)
Can I take a srm 225 echo string trimmer shaft and replace it with a multi tool like you did?
beautiful hedge … Wish I could have one
Brilliant. What's the catcher made from? Is it an old container or gutter??
