I pulled out an extra one of these I had to add some LED DRL's to the bumper cutouts on my "new" 2013 Mazda 3, and unlike the one I used on my truck, this one had no green or blue wire ! Hooking it to the battery just allows the lights to come on and stay on , though the white wire does do what it is supposed to and dims the DRL's. I just hooked it to a switched fuse with a jumper to use it , but not having that blue trigger wire makes it useless in reality ( other than the dimming feature)...could have done it with a 4 pole relay ......

I have all the wires connected as required. Problem is that when the headlights are turned on and my 2 auxillary/add on LED lights (I'm using them as daytime running lights) go into low light mode (white wire connected to headlights) they both return to full bright mode when I turn on my signals. I want to keep them in low light mode at night except for the LED that gets the signal for turning. Anybody know how I can keep the non flashing LED in low light mode while the headlights are on?

Hello, my lights are on even without connecting the black- to the battery and the blue. but only connected the red+. Do you know what is the issue? :(

So my DRL are working but for some reason when I activated my turn signals they aren’t working at all. Any idea why?

Is it possible to turn off the dimming option? I would like it to turn off the daytime running lights when the headlights are on

Yes it is most certainly a low priced technical situation that can be attached to any DRL system. This aspect of the DRL/s being automatically switched off as soon as the side/low/high (main) lights are duly switched on is in actual fact a legal requirement for all vehicles in New Zealand to acquire before a WOF (Warrant of Fitness) certificate can be issued & before being driven on any roadway within the country!! I believe this implementation is to try to cut down on the sheer amount of totally over-the-top & brilliant light output that so many modern vehicles are now equipped with & thereby resulting in a lot of drivers being practically blinded (at night time) by so many lights of high power output!!
DRL/s are not needed once your low or high beam main lights are switched on &
they just add to the prolification of totally unnecessary light emanating from modern vehicles!! It's a fairly easy & a cheap fix!!

Interesting & an informative video (thank you) however & with respect in some jurisdictions (New Zealand for example) it is illegal for your DRL/s to remain on (even at the lower power setting output) & therefore when you turn on your sidelights/low beam or high mains) your DRL/s must automatically switch off!! Failure for your DRL system to implement this action will simply result in the non issue of a WOF Certificate (warrant of fitness) which every vehicle on a NZ road must have to be legal!! A wiring diagram to cover this legal requirment would therefore most certainly be appreciated from anyone with the necessary know-how as currently my DRL/s are disconnected utill such time as I have acquired the said wiring diagram!! (yeah right) Any takers please??? I suspect the use of a relay may need to be involved here but I'm no expert!! (understandee de englishee???) This is also a first class oportunity for those smart buggers to get their brain into gear & come up with something that is not only suitable but is also workable!!

Use a relay to cut off the current. Route the red main wire to Normaly Closed relay pin, use a positive trigger for the headlight wire. When you turn the headlights the relay will disconect the power of the DRL controller.
You can conect the blue wire to the relay on pin normaly closed. The idea is use the relay conected to the headlights ON switch to control the main red or the ACC to turn off the controller.
