    Hi, great and this is what exactly what I’m looking for, but I didn’t get the wiring, which one take negative and which one positive to make the it close circuit, and when it’s closed , which pins I will use , and will use positive wire or negative one.
    Thank you 🙏🏻

    Hey my friend I want to do kind of the same you are doing except that what I'm trying to do is that when I turn on my turning signals I want the DRL to shut off .. and when the turning light disabled to turn the DRL back on ... I got some dimmers in my DRL so I don't want to be off if I turn on the parking lights on .. so all I need is a relay jd1914 12v ? All my light bulbs are LED so I need to know if this voltage is the right one

    I'm trying to bypass the integrated blinker circuit in my BCM because mine went out, and Chevy thought the best solution was to make it keep the headlight marker light on 24/7 weather the truck is on or off.
    So I'm installing a relay that turns them on when I turn the key, and then using the rear blinker as a power signal to blink the relay for turn signal

    So if you have 2x DRLs (1 either side of the car), do you simply repeat the process and run this example twice for each side?

    Hey man your videos are so helpful, I’m doing the heated mirror for my crv 2017 LX model it didn’t come with factory heated mirror , so I decided to get in the dealership only the mirrors heated and I gonna do aside the wires with relay, switch and a piggyback tap fuse, I wanna know what kind of relay did you use 30/40A or 80A 4 pin? Someone told that each mirror heated consume around 2A for each mirror ,totally 32W, thanks 🙏

      Yes a 30/40 amp SPST relay. Can be had at like auto zone or advanced auto

      I do not have much knowledge about this, but For the relay should I run one cable from the battery going through the firewall? And use the 3 prong rocker switch 16A, I wanna let them work when the car switch is on , Thanks got bless 👍

      @@davidc2023 yes running the battery cable to power the relay for the mirrors is correct. Trick now is to find an ignition on power source to trigger the relay. That you could probably tap somewhere in the fuse panel. My honda fit has a 10A fuse on the battery cable for the mirrors.

    Thanks for sharing,. I would like to add delay capacitor to the DRL so when I use the signal indicator the DRL of the respective side switch off,. Do you have a suggestion?

    • @Bassguitarist1985
      @Bassguitarist1985  6 років тому

      you mean switchback type A?

    • @mohtab55
      @mohtab55 6 років тому

      xboxer1985 exactly! Using your relay and add this function it's a ++. Will it be easy and neat?

      Momed Miranda adding a 2200uF cap in parallel with the relay coil will keep the coil energized long enough between the blinker pulses to keep the DRL off. I would use a diode on the blinker feed so there is no current flowing out of the cap back to the blinker circuit

      xboxer1985 I will give it a try , does the relay have extra pin to feed from blinker or will be shared with headlight feed? what is the reference of the relay used , I don't easy see it . Thx

      blinker positive feed goes to relay coil, other side of coil to ground. 30 is ignition power positive. 87a goes to the DRLl, and 87 goes to the blinker. I've done this on the bench with a 2000uF cap. It worked for me

    Hello ,. I have ordered DRL to install on the truck and already have 2x relay PSZACCEPS175R on hand but not sure if this is suitable. What pin to wire the headlight to switch off the DRL. Can you please guide me on this . Thank you .

    i have connected my DRL to Air con relay; how do i stop it from flicking.

    • @Bassguitarist1985
      @Bassguitarist1985  6 років тому

      Dont know all the details. If the LED is flickering maybe its a problem with the DRL or the power feed itself? I dont know.

    Hi there, is there a video that shows the instal of this exact circuit i.e. using head lights to turn off day time lamps on a vehicle? thanks for the vid! very helpful for what i want to do!

    • @Bassguitarist1985
      @Bassguitarist1985  8 років тому +2

      i dont have a video no. but all you have to do is connect the DRLs to the normally closed side of the relay, and then connect the coil to the power of the headlights so that when the relay coil energizes it breaks the power to the DRLs. The DRLs need to be on an ACC on circuit so as not to drain the battery with the engine off. Hope this explains things.

    Normally closed/normally open? That makes no sense. Do you mean single pull dual throw? SPDT?

      Yes correct, only learned about the proper terminology later.
