You got it Tim!. Had mine for 4 years (longest ever time with a car since I started driving in the 90’s). Fabspeed sport cat and Bilstein coilovers have kept it fresh. Amazing machine
I still remember the first time I heard the n55 on a cold start. It was in a 2011 135i. Sounded absolutely gnarly as hell. All I could think about was with all the hype and talk about how the n54 was a better motor, what I would give to have my own 135 sound that awesome, let alone right out of the box...
I think about selling it, but than I drive it. Puts a smile on my face every time. Forget what people say. It’s a an amazing driving machine.ine is stock and I’m so happy I purchased it a year and a half ago.
I love my OG M2, it's really the best of everything. Small enough so it's not unwieldy on B-roads, can easily do trackdays, 4 seats and luggage space, good enough on a long commute... What's not to love?
I've driven 718 GT4 RS on track, slidden it on skip pad. It is faster, more delicate, more planted, but way less fun than F87. If you do want to buy a 718 GT4 / RS, make sure you keep your F87. I am damn sure you will miss your F87 just 10 minutes after you start driving a GT4. I got bored by that GT4 RS just a few minutes after...maybe that's just not the car for me.
Have an N55 M2 LCI with VRSF sports cat and mperf exhaust.. the notes are heavenly. Bought it over the S55 because of the sound and absolutely have zero regrets. Jacks also fixed the biggest issue and thats the stock seats. Id love a pair of comp seats for mine haha
@err7273 Oh nice, that's great! Yeah, the N55B30T is a pretty capable engine with the S55 components. With the right turbo, fueling and clutch, they'll safely do about 650 wheel 😁
OOTB M2 COMPETITION S55 is 410 BHP not 420 BHP :) I have the M2 N55 OG LCI 370 BHP with M PERFORMANCE EXHAUST and will surely keep it as much as I can ;)

Had mine about 2 years. Started getting the familiar itch to try something new but I just can’t find anything that would be nearly as good for the same money
I’ve had an OG since last March. TBH I hated it at first, obviously wasn’t expecting a limousine ride but the standard suspension is crap. Bounces and crashes badly. I stuck with it as it was clear the chassis was properly stiff especially compared to say an m140. No flex. I went for the M performance coilovers and after a bit of research arrived at what I’d consider to be Goldilocks settings. The car is completely transformed being much more compliant. It also has more grip in all conditions and just hooks up. I also went up a size to 255/275. The car has really got under my skin now I don’t daily it it’s just a dedicated tool for annoying fast bikes on deserted roads..
Yes Tim. Don’t sell it…most of us ain’t even bought one yet! Those roads looked perfect to test it on. No traffic jams. Awesome fun again. Sounds like a lions roar. Where’s your M4 at?!
So the OG N55 M2 does have an auto rev matching feature? Is it something that can be turned off? My MK7 Golf R was stolen So I'm looking for something else now... Thinking The 2018 M2 LCI could be the one (If I can find a pristine low mileage model for around $40K US).
