I live in the UK and Lidl is my local store to shop for just about everything. Parkside tools in my experience are great tools for the money and work really well. I've got 5 tools ranging from a hedge cutter to their 12v multi tool. For the price I don't think you can go wrong here in Europe anyway. Great video and love the channel long time fan.
Parkside also makes a performance version which are grey in color, brushless and a lot better than the green version. I have seen those put up against Makita and other big name brands and killed them. The performance models are also a lot cheaper than the bigger name brands and come with way more attachments and accessories as standard which the big names charge for.
I was able to get my hands on a Performance angle grinder, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Unfortunately, it's the only Performance line tool I've seen at my local Lidl. Hopefully more are in stock sometime!
Some parkside tools are made by Grizzly tools, some by Scheppach (for the bigger tools like the bench drill and the table saw)... They have a brushless performance line (Black colored tools) from wich I have most of my hand power tools that totaly outclass the green ones that are made either by Kompernass and Grizzly tools depending on the tool (jigsaw by Grizzly, drills by kompernass etc.) they are a bit more expensive tough
Lidl was the go to store when my wife and I traveled to Europe 2 years ago. Great products for the price, we even got some surprisingly decent food on the go. Much cheaper than even a fast food place
Your pronounciation od Lidl is spot on. Also, parkside seems to be all the rage amongst DIYers in Europe, because it's cheap (or they're cheap). Either way, meh, just another generic brand.
Youve got Parkside in the US? Parkside for life. I am renovating my '70's concrete house, exclusively with Parkside tools. Have been very succesful so far. Cheers from Holland.
I got the orange/peach color MM tshirt, i bought it when i won one of their giveaways. And NOW we got MeterK gettin kicked off amazon so even MORE super closeout deals!
Been waiting foreveeeeerrrrr, I had to buy expensive tools, need to see more popoman and tecccapoo, and snapfresh gotta love them Amazon names lol! I have that Ryobi impact driver,it was part of the first 6 pc kit I bought,I really like it, it isn't made in china(Vietnam) and I think it's pretty capable,I've got the anvil on mine red freaking hot and beat it to hell and back, it still keeps on chooching, it's definitely the better tool. It looks like the hart is Ryobi's older model impact
Hey yo Jim! I would like to thank you for making any Ryobi fans out there Happy, due to these results! 🤔🙄😁😂 I was anticipating a ‘smoke show,’ at some point, so Im a bit disappointed. 😢😃 Seriously, absolutely loved the Intro! And once again, your split views are great? Keep em coming. Please pray for the families of those US Service members we lost. Thanks God Bless my friend. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏✌🏻🇺🇸
Hart is such a confusing brand to me. I walked Walmart tools recently, and they're pretty much the same price as all the ryobi stuff, yet seems to get spanked in every tool-to-tool comparison. I would assume that both tti and Walmart are banking on impulse purchases at a store where you can get your oil changed, eat a meal, buy your groceries, get your vision checked, get a haircut and buy a new TV all in one visit.
The promos I've seen seemed lower priced than Ryobi. (And Ryobi promo prices are pretty low) For example, there was (is?) a Hart 2 battery tool kit promo (e.g. drill, impact, or circ saw) for $69. The Ryobi day equivalent was $99. So priced lower. Bare tool purchases tend to be priced higher, although that is fairly common outside of bare tool promotions.
I live in the UK. I do food shopping at Lidl, but the power tools that were sold there I didn't take great interest in them. I am more into Ryobi and I've already started my power tool collection with them. I'm looking at getting the more expensive impact driver from Ryobi which has the 3 led lights
I just picked up 2 of those ryobi impacts at my local home depot that include (2) 1.5 amp hour batteries and a charger for $25.00 each. Do I need them? No, but it was too good a deal to pass up.
Lidl grocery store, it's a house brand for them. It's a complete crap shoot as to what tools will be in the store at any given time. Look up "Lidl aisle of shame" on the interwebs...
Very rarely in my limited experience. I was able to get a Performance angle grinder, but that's all I've seen in the 2 years that the Lidl has been open near me.
@@PhillyFixed too bad. I've got their drilldriver (has been tested by the Dutch consumer association to have the best price/performance ratio) and recip saw. Both really good tools for the price.
Great bloopers in the beginning of your video i have seen video from the u.k on that parkside brand they have circular saws other tools i think you got the buy battery charger separate from tool

Not really. They have HDX and Husky hand tools, and Husky has pneumatic stuff and a random cordless ratchet, but no extensive power tool line below Ryobi.

It’s German so pronounced “Liddul”. The manufacturer is also German though no doubt with lots of Chinese parts. I have a Parkside impact driver and a 1/2” impact wrench. The latter has not had a great deal of use but it’s an absolute beast. The former is less aggressive making it more useful, but there’s really only one speed. So don’t expect much fineness.
Cheap tool, but always matches is the PARKSIDE, costs less, works as well, and matches with all the tools bought for your home at a 1/3 of the price, am I wrong..?
You appear to be going for the win with the Ryobi..the other ones you're just kind of taking your time... you are intent on driving the Ryobi Fasteners... the other ones you aren't in a rush to get them into the fastener...
Parkside has different manufacturers for different tools, which is also the main downside of the brand. Some of their tools are stellar, others go straight from the box to the garbage. Their cordless stuff is ussualy good and their batteries are affordable.
Parkside tools tools are not great by any means, they're ok at best and get the job done. To be fair, I own a lot of the same Parkside tools, because at some point I know they will fail. Their cordless range are very poor simply because either the battery will fail and/or the charger will fail. Parkside tools are made by various companies, such as Grizzly Tools, Einhell, Kompernass and even Scheppach, although I believe they are slowly phasing out all but Grizzly Tools and Kompernass
I wish Lidl carried a full selection of their tools at any given time - I just have to check the store periodically to see what is there, you never know what they'll have in stock.

My only question is could they make them bigger? I like my impact drivers to occupy multiple rooms of a house at the same time.
Too much torque to handle.
This is really humorous, in a funny way

That Ryobi p235 is one of my favorite impacts especially considering it is a brushed model
The P235A is extremely powerful for a brushed tool. Great video 👍

Great video Jim, that Ryobi shines with a bigger HP battery I actually have that driver and if it's not bad. It aint a gen3 fuel but it gets it done.
