- Got the frame straight and welding tabs on for all the add ons. Repairing broken exhaust studs. Got the forks from China and they are a disaster as per usual. Lowering the bike and checking clearance issues.
Been wanting to combine a Suzuki AN400 Burgman or Skyway to a Maddog or Ruckus frame for awhile. This is a clean title Maddog frame with a 400cc engine and suspension welded on. Gonna be a fun project. I'm setting a 100mph goal which should be simple seeing as a stocker An400 does 80 to 90mph.

Very excited to see how this build turns out. I have a silverwing so I'm glad to see a maxi scooter engine in a chuck.
Look forward to your videos man. Love your enthusiasm. Gives me good ideas for the next day when i tinker with the metruckus. Just did a 232cc swap on it!
Thanks so much. I want a metruck so bad. I almost bought an old vespa for it. I want a vintage front end from like a 50s or 60s vespa looking bike.
You really do the best work!
Thanks but the verdict is not out yet.. LOL
The reason the front and rear tires have to be mounted opposite directions is because of how the ply is laid and how forces will be exerted on the rubber. (Rear will be mostly acceleration force and front will be braking or deceleration force) I think it more matters on something real fast or heavy lol
Ahhh... that makes sense. Looks so weird though.
Got a scooter couple months ago Tao tao...lol....... save gas got big old 2500hd truck..........Man thing is a blast did a "big bore" kit. Been watching you vids on Mad DOG scooters now I want one LOL....................LOVE this vid that thing going be blast to ride
Thanks a bunch. Hopefully this thing will ride good. LOL. It will prob get better gas mileage than the maddog... Japanese engine.
This thing's looking like a fun project so far. I have plans for my own scooter but for now I just want to get some good riding in before I start ripping it apart. :)
Ikr. You HAVE to have 2 bikes to take your time on a project. Otherwise you won't even wait for paint to dry. LOL
@@GhettoWrench Indeed. I trained in autobody repair back in high school. So I know all about long wait times and the tedium of proper surface prep. I'd rather not do a project at all than to put my name on half-assed work. That's why it takes me a while before I gain the urge of starting anything. 😆
I swear a couple of months ago I ran across a Facebook marketplace ad that had this on it, it was only for the engine not the rest of it but I've been going nuts cuz even though I saved the ad it's gone, I have no proof
It was in Kissimmee Florida area. Prob was it.
I grafted a 250cc motor on a tao tao 50cc frame and did 100mph. DO not advice! Have fun ,wear armour.
Ha! Epic. Thanks
Godzilla on steroids
Are those the Michelin City pros you have there?😃
Are they as good as they say?
I have to say I'm pretty happy with them. ABS pump screaming offers t*** turned in Have not thrown it down the road yet.
Not sure. City Grip 2. They are WAY better than the xingpung things that come on chinese scooters. LOL. They do actually seem as good as a sport max or battleaxe but for scooters.
@@GhettoWrench Yeah
I had the Xingpungs on my Vitacci Rocket 150cc. Water plus mildly wet roads led to me getting a closed fracture. My rotator cup in my right shoulder. You're also right, you have the City Grip 2 which are the ones I need to get. The Xingpungs practically come balded.

Also do you have a fb page
No. Well I have not kept up with it. Just a personal page. I'm on the maddog FB forums.
Can you give me the link to the front shocks?
Here you go

@@GhettoWrench I found them sweet ty
@jeffkrauss5582 that is why don't post Ali Express links. They change daily. Best way to search is put in ruckus or dio or zoomer forks to get it rolling. Once you see some forks that look close clicke them. Now start scrolling down and all similar products will be posted. Once the website figures out what you are looking for you will start seeing then.
