Random student of International Relations passing by to say, now that the Amani are a client State of the Zandalari Empire, and with their alliance with the horde, this has some massive geopolitical implications, the horde is pretty much a superpower in North of the Eastern Kingdoms, and at the sea, having easy access to Zandalar and Suramar, and don't forget about Highmountain, which would give them across to resources, and land, and the North of the Jade Forrest, which is close to Zandalar giving them a thigh gripe in the region... what do you think their push towards "Blizzard's AI/Machine Learning system used to validate player reports around offensive behavior" is all about, anti-troll sentiment
This was a solid video, kudos there, I am heartened to see the Amani getting some respect & sympathy. Though I'll note that if I recall the Amani didn't attack the elves until they'd settled on sacred lands & that the Sunwell originally had no Light magics. Also I am surprised Zanza and his "Arcanum" wasn't mentioned. On the subject of other videos on trolls, I hope the highly advanced magic and sustainability of the Drakkari gets some regard. They got screwed in canon, but if you actually look at their accomplishments they built a city the size of a country as big as Gilnease under incredibly frigid circumstances & yet somehow produced a surplus of food, had epic sized homes, a functional military, & incredible magics. They even brought down a Necropolis when it attacked them and seemed to only start losing to the Scourge thanks to internal betrayal & sabotage from the Argent Dawn & Zandalari, & even then, before the latter got there, they had seemingly been able to drive off the Scourge or stop its advance.
This why I play Turtle WoW as a Alliance High Elf and a Goblin Horde .. those 2 races should have been at 2004 Launch.. Blood Elves on the Horde took away the Horde intimidation factor they orginal had , current Retail WoW Horde are more Elf-Centric with a few Panda Bears lol

@@CaptainSweatpants90 There also are Pandarens, but we dont really know if they are Celestial's creation just like Titans "made humans, dverfs and gnomes" and Wild gods made their own race minions: Agamaggan -> Quillboar, unknown Bull Ancient (Niuzao???) -> Tanuki -> Tauren, etc.
Man.. AWESOME work.
I'm glad we have people like you in the community.

Does anybody here know what Shungite is? No not Suge Knight, I think he's locked up in prison. Talking shungite. Anyways, it's like a two billion year old.. like rock... stone... that protect against frequencies and unwanted frequencies that may be traveling in the air. That's my story, I bought a whole bunch of stuff, put them around la casa, little pyramids, stuff like that.
Thank you for using the Doc as a Meme. I literally felt like home :D
"It's all the trolls'?" Always has been.
It was before I started playing wow but the "Gods of Zul'Aman" trailer is one of the best wow cinematics I've seen and it made me love zul'jin. Great video, I wish Amani could be an allied race or something but I don't think it would make any sense.
They figured out how to cram dark iron dwarves into the Alliance lol I can fly 1 zone over from SW and do gear repairs with dark iron dwarves as a Hordie. It just tool the Dark Iron Dwarves having solid leadership even if the politics of them entering the Alliance wasn't pretty.
Besides Hordes made up of desperate dying races, Amani definitely fit the criteria
That transition of the blood elf and forest troll models fighting to the drawing was really cool.
As soon as a I heard the throat singing, I subscribed. Love the editing! You absolute legend!
Your sense of humor and usage of memes are so flavorful
17:11 I was so desperate for you to say "Why are you going my? I'm right". You did it. GOAT.
Forest Trolls did nothing wrong. They are the Natives of Azeroth.
Elves with Magic: not anymore bitch
Literally any trolls are natives of azeroth. Similar to orc on draenor with draenei, their downfall was when foreigners intervene their civilization
But Blood Elves were High Elves before and High Elves were Nightelves/Elves before and Nightelves/Elves were Dark Trolls before. In that case the Elves are kind of natives too.
@@holobolo454 on the pre-retcon lore, Nigth Elves were creation of Elune, totally separated from Trolls. And if i remember it correctly, it was Illidan who take the vial, and Dathremar escape with it, while Illidan was caught by Malfurion and then imprisoned
@@youzonk7692 That would be great. I like to "hate" Elves. This Troll thing made it harder for me.
Platinum WoW knocking it out of the park with another top tier video. Way to go!
The horde is a fucking superpower now, and Zandalar, and the old troll empires are key to that.
This part that people don't fully grasp.
The Alliance got void elves so what a couple hundred void corrupted Belves lol
If QT and ZA were united the Horde would have North Eastern Kingdom sewn up and have easy routes between them all.
Theres also the Raventusk Trolls in the Hinterlands that are in the Horde as well.
We haven't even seen where the Foresaken will relocate to either
5:41 This was honestly the only correct option for music to play alongside the Troll Wars Firestorm artpiece
Man, the quality of your videos is growing super fast! This was like....superb!!
I love when you re create original source material with in game models. It looks so dope.
Zul'jin was deprived of one eye and one arm?
Wow, that's quite the Berserk reference.
You had my like at "Most poggers moment of history" xD
Making DrDisrespect a crazy elf who puts rocks around “la casa” and genocides trolls kind of ages pretty well 😅
As someone who play as a blood elf hunter I now feel bad for killing trolls. I now have a new look on the amani trolls.
Yes! Finally! Someone said it, the Amani aren't the bad guys.
We are.
Imagine worshiping gods of nature and then losing a natural fight over territory and saying "waaaaaah, we were here first."
@@CampaignerSC lol what?
@@CampaignerSC Yes, lets steamroll civilizations with less war power (less war power is not being an inferior civilization), destroy they culture, take their lands and make propaganda saying that they were evil savages just because we do not understand their context.
You think that being able to conquer other civilizations makes you better when in reality each civilization is different and good in their own way, everything that you say is from a modern, propagandist point of view that portrays the loosers as inferior when in reality it is just the one with the stronger weapon wins, not the superior
@@willhem5668 "Lets?" I'm not part of your pathetic hivemind mentality; I'm an individual, not some member of an insect group that feels pride or guilt over the actions of other human beings that I hold no control over. I can make fun of any hilariously ironic belief system I wish to make fun of.
That machinima shot into the page from the rpg was gold. A+
Dunno about anyone else but I feel like I have been watching this video for thousands of years!!
PLEASE what is this music at 5:41 it brought a tear to my eye
Battle For Azeroth OST | 20 | Return to Arms
PlatWoW: Knife Eared elves

DrDisrespect elf was so perfect lmao
Zul'jin is a true hero of his people and he deserve much more love from Blizzard
wow, just wow. Great vid Platinum. Im going to go create a troll character in classic now just from this.
“Why are you booing me, I’m right” is it a reference from the Eric Andre show? 😂
Anyways, great content as usual!!!
“You damn elves, get off my property!”
- The Amani, probably
The ending with zul'jin was very sad. I can barely hold my tears
Coming back here after watching the trailer you made for thew WoW youtube channel, really glad to see how far you've come man!
Imagine being the most sympathetic race in the Horde but Blizzard wants to retcon the other green boys into being the good ones. So they just call you Evil in the War3 manual and replace you with some blue guys instead.
I’m still mad.
Great video, especially the fitting music choice at 13:46 😊 Did you know that piece, "The Morning", was written for a drama play called "Peer Gynt", in which trolls appear? I personally found it amazing!
P.s. Zul'jin is a sweety, why they made him cry? Jeez, I wanna hug him 🤗 but, since I am human, he will kill me😅
Hey! I'd love to see a lore series on cenarion circle, brood of nozdormu, druids and night elves in general with a focus on how they relate to the events of Vanilla / Classic. Thank you! Great lore vids I subscribed because of them.
How did I just find this channel. I haven't played in a while, vanilla to mists of pandaria. But hands down, one of the most entertaining channels I've come across. Great stuff!
I just learned that blizzard is racist to trolls
I mean, you're not wrong...
what do you think their push towards "Blizzard's AI/Machine Learning system used to validate player reports around offensive behavior" is all about, anti-troll sentiment
@Anessen Still better than smug elves
*#TrollLivesMatter*
Blizzard is racist against his own characters and lore since wow
Platinum pleaseeee make more lore videos in the future. You are so entertaining and informative
Can't wait to see Baldlord react to this, great video mate!
"How do you sleep at night!?!"
Imagine, needing to sleep.
-This message message brought to you by the Undead Gang.
You are such a good content creator. Cheers mate!
Zul drak was one of the most fun areas in WOTLK
Zul'jin was lucky he didn't mess with Lor'themars hair, he would have his troll guts ripped out by the elfs bare hands.
Your work is so good
Can't wait for your next video
Vengeance for Zul’Jin!
*Troll and Blood elf party members glare at each other*
This why I play Turtle WoW as a Alliance High Elf and a Goblin Horde .. those 2 races should have been at 2004 Launch.. Blood Elves on the Horde took away the Horde intimidation factor they orginal had , current Retail WoW Horde are more Elf-Centric with a few Panda Bears lol
@@joezar33that's why i love turtle wow too, so annoying to see on Retail all these elves in horde side.
Platinum WoW the best source for Warcraft History
"Look. You made Zul'jin cry. How do you sleep at night?"
"Truly, this was the most poggers moment in Amani history"
Like a modern age David Attenborough
My all characters are trolls. I've always wanted to join Zul'Gurub, Zul'Aman or any other REAL troll factions. When we finally got Zandalar in BFA... well, we all know.
Holy fuck I lost it at 14:05....This was one of the most Poggers moment in Amani history lmao
I always found it fucked up that as horde we didn't allied with the Amani trolls, but with the blood elves, just to play nice with Sylvanas, and lo and behold a solid decade later we all paid the price
the only reason at the time was because a large amount of players from china were asking better looking races or they dont play as horde, and its still the most popular horde race today
kinda sad, i just dont feel right playing as a blood elf, they're one of the worst kind of elf in the fantasy
lol i absolutely loved this. great job man. youve become my favorite wow youtuber in the past few months. thank you for the content.
Yay, I'm included! :D
It gets better every time, AWESOME WORK DUDE!
I really need a TV show featuring troll lands being invaded, this plot line is such a great one honestly
you're amazing, great work, never stop!
Here before that one guy who doesn't have that one mount reacts to it.
i have been waiting for the amani video for far too long
VENGEANCE FOR ZUL'JIN
I thought the "dark power" the hexlord offered was consuming their loa to obtain those demi-god animal forms you fight as bosses in ZA?
The Drakkari are the only trolls to have ever consumed their loa in order to survive the Scourge.
@@someguy9970 Zul gurub? hello?
@Cegesh Aren't they enslaved at some point? Or it's in the second version of Zul Aman maybe.
@@Inayaeza They're not enslaved, they were just called upon. The Hex Lord learned it from the Zandalar tribe.
Damn these lore videos are cool, subscribed
Good lord that DrDisrespect part was perfect! Well done! x)
The sound effects animation are epically funny man. Well done 👏!
Thank you I'm a huge lore nerd myself and all the information is well presented and accurate and goes quite in depth for 15 minute videos. I know that if there's a topic I'm not so sure I can rely on you. Thanks to Asmon for showing me this channel.
"Truly this was one of the most poggers moment in Amani history" lmao
