This cart is pretty awesome. Also it turns out they come with key switches now so you can lock it, I just got an early model I guess. Also the price is even lower on Amazon at just $3,499: amzn.to/3YlvXaS
While it does start at the lower price for the Mini of $3,499. If you add the Roof ($199) and the Folding Windshield ($149) options. that will increase the price to $3,847. What cool is it is available in three colors : Green, Pink and Purple.
Hey man you're such a nice guy making all these videos and tutorials sharing knowledge and teaching people who don't know. Amazing. If you come across my comment I would be grateful if you would like to answer some questions that I have about e-bike batteries. 1. I have a 36V 10S5P battery but it only has 9 of those small wires connected to the BMS and positive ends of each parallel group. So these wires are only connected to the 9th cell group and the 10th group has a 14 gauge red wire and I suppose that the last one is for the positive charge and discharge (C+ , P+). 2: I would like to know how and where to solder and connect the BMS wires. And if there is a sort of tutorial where you explain everything in detail that would help so much because I feel comfortable with the way you explain and teach things.
I had not expected to be particularly impressed with this vehicle when it arrived at my property by truck. But after some time in it, I must say that this little and highly affordable mini golf cart is a well built, well designed ride with many very cool features. It was quite impressive on our pasture land which is far from smooth. I am thoroughly enjoying it. Kudos to Kandi !! And the time with my son is always a treat. Regards.

I don't understand, if she needs a mobility scooter why not get her one? Instead, you're going to buy a mini car basically. The mobility scooter you can take inside stores and stuff and this you cannot. It's like when people want to buy a car, and instead of buying a sedan which is what they actually need, they buy an suv because they are trying to keep up with the Jones' at the end of the block. Just buy her a damn mobility scooter like she needs, and don't worry about the "stigma", you'll never see any one person twice.

I wanted something electric for the off-grid land, but a bike was too small and a regular golf cart too big and expensive. After watching this video, I decided to get one. It arrived in less than a week from amazon fully assembled (got the optional canopy). It did have the keyed switch. Not the smoothest vehicle over bumpy trails, but rides better than my Ryobi electric riding mower. Only put a few miles on it so far, but solid and great for the money ($3920. delivered). I am upgrading with blinkers, mirror and better headlights to take it off-property into a nearby village. Edit: Took it on an 11 mile round trip for groceries. Battery meter read 59% on return. All the ugly warning stickers easily peeled off; I relocated them under the folding seat and underside of frunk lid.
I love watching you and your Dad interact. You are definitely Blessed to have each other and work so well together. This cart is adorable and your solution to take the steering wheel had me LOL!
I just got a Kandi America Trail King MT750 e-bike. Had it now for about a month and have about 200 mi on it. I ordered it through my local Lowe's home improvement store and it was shipped to them from Kandi America in Dallas Texas. It is a fat tire e-bike with a 52 volt, 20 amp hour battery and I love this bike. Not very many videos on UA-cam about this bike but for $2,100 it's an awesome ride!
When I was a kid, my Grandma lived in a retirement community near Tampa where nearly everyone used golf carts to get around. All the carports had charging stations. (Ahead of their time on e-vehicles!) I bet she'd have loved this cart!
Your shopping montage song was hilarious! This vehicle reminded me of something I did when I was a teenager. My best friend and I were always into fiddling around with anything mechanical - go-karts, mini bikes, etc. My father had a 4 horsepower rider mower that we never used because it was "overkill" for the yard in the house we had moved into. I asked my dad if my best friend and I could convert it into a go-kart of sorts. He took the blade off and told us to go ahead. We wound up reversing the pulleys underneath the unit and turned it from a a 4 mph lawn machine into a 20 mph death trap that we had all sorts of fun with! We used to race it down the street in our neighborhood. It had pneumatic tires on the rear and solid rubber wheels, like those on a wagon, in the front. We kept wearing out the front wheels, and went scavenging around the neighborhood for people who were throwing away old wagons to get replacements. It was a blast! Thanks for jogging my memory of this childhood fun!😉😎
Cool! That's a huge discount to the larger ones. You know really that's all you need. I like it. The way it breaks down is nice. We could load it up and carry it camping. Love your dads reaction to the golf cart. He seems to like it alot and he is also such a lucky dad to get to play with alot of electric vehicle be it golf carts, mini vans/pickups to diggers.
Nothing beats my dad's foldable 20'' ebike that I've gotten him for US$600...and which he rode for 80,000 km....still riding. Just added an extra battery after about 60,000km. Old battery's still strong with over 80% capacity.
I wish I could have one of those at work. Going around picking up the grounds. As I get older my feet has more problems and it's harder to get around. Thanks Michael
Man your dad so cool. I thought I heard your mum in the background at some point. You are a cool family. If you ever come to Kenya, get in touch. You demostrate what a father and son should be.
I noticed Lowe"s sales the KANDI Mini for $3,499 as well. I need to check if my golf course will allow me to drive it on their course. I appreciate the great information you provide, especially noticed about the locking level under the seat. The safety seat belts are nice.
How do you think this would do on shallow slopes, or with towing the little harbor freight towable backhoe? We are hoping to get about 5 to 7 acres but don't have a truck and something like this could potentially be great for moving things around in the space we will have, including gorilla carts of soil, etc.
I think there’s a chance, but too much soil on a slope might be asking a bit much. It towed my kayak perfectly fine, and also drove itself out a ditch fine (we don’t have real hills in Florida to test inclines) but I don’t know if it can tow hundreds of points of soil or a backhoe attachment. A small UTV certainly could though!
The golf cart had many unexpected features. The video was very informative I don't know that montage music fade out was rule was non-negotiable. Thanks.
Very nicely done. Does it have turn signals on it? 9 mph may not be fast, but it gets you outside to say high to the neighbors. Is it street legal? Also, you could put a kill switch on yours so it cannot be driven off. Good luck!
Not to be a bummer but the Amazon reviews were bad when the cart arrived damaged or had a bad battery. Basically people had no recourse from the company if the cart had any issue buying through Amazon or trying to work with Kandi. I would recommend contacting a golf cart dealer. The Kandi website lists Lowes Home Improvement as a dealer as well. This cart looks amazing otherwise and I'll be recommending it to my elderly aunt and uncle.
Myy mom could use something like this to get to her mailbox if this would be able to go up and down a steep driveway, do you think it could manage that? Thanks for your videos always fun.
Kool Kart! enjoyed that, :) the songs are great - what a fine job there. a key? we dont need no stinking key ;) actually removing the steering column is a fine idea.
Im well impressed in fit inti a minivan, though i know you guys have far bigger mini vans than we do in the uk. I also love how you can just drive it anywhere. Can't do that in the UK you'll be fined at minimum for no insurance 😂.
I think for 4000.00 it is a good value. It is a little low on amps but it would do 18 holes of golf with two people no problem. 9mph is not a problem on the golf course.
The one major thing I'd like to see getting added to vehicles like this is some kind of transmission.. meaning at the flip of a switch an "e-cart" at the sacrifice of longevity you can kick up the max speed to meet road standards. So like this cart, a 25 mile range at 9mph would be bumped to say 27mph with 8 miles of range.. now there's no reason to be going that fast continuously.. but for quick spurts to keep up with traffic. Maybe an aftermarket kit or something.. also think a single flexible solar panel would do wonders for a cart like this. That's all, awesome cart!
Where I live they won't allow one of these on the road without a Low Speed Vehicle registration, title, license, insurance and then it would need to be able to reach over 20 MPH in one mile and a top speed of 25MPH or less. It would also need a working DOT approved tires, brake light, turn signals and headlights along with an inspection. Here we also can't run them on the sidewalks but if registered with a LSV plate they can be driven on any street or road that you can drive a UTV.
A fleet of these at a course with solar panels on the canopy. Single golf carts for everyone. Race your friends go right up to your ball. Free charging.
@@16driver16 most golf carts don't get used daily so sitting in the sun all day for multiple days would be enough. You probably have to plug in on busy holidays but most of the year majority could be solar
@@16driver16 you gotta not think of it as single panels. Imagine you have hundreds of these. Even if they are only doing 20%-30% per kart that's a giant solar array you have built that's guaranteed to always be used for transport. Plus the customer is dumb and would think they are running off pure sunshine.
@@EbikeSchool Yay cool. Glad to hear. Thanks for doing so and I will continue to look forward to it! Also thanks for letting me know. Hope you have a great day!
That golf cart is very cool! My only two complaints are the speed. I think it should be at least 15mph maybe 20. 9mph is just crazy slow and kind of dangerous if you need to move quickly out of harms way. And the peddles being in the middle would bother me so much. They put the steering wheel on the left but not the peddles? Odd. I do have a question about the EBike giveaway… do you have to enter every time or is it one entry and your entered in everyone. I enter every time just in case.
I just saw this thing at my local Camping World in Kissimmee this past 4th of July weekend. I'm 6-1, 350lbs, I made the gf take a pic of me sitting on it in the store. It was pretty funny.
Would swapping the battery out to a 100Ahr battery be just a simple swap or would the charge controllere need changing, too? Would tha 38Ahr battery take me through 18 holes and then some because not all my shots are down the middle of the fairway - a little off=roading is always a possibility.😅 Later in your video, you anwered my range question.
Nice! Unfortunately here in the Netherlands, we have pretty strict rules about what can be on public roads or sidewalks and things like this just aren't allowed for without a ton of modifications and a hefty insurance. But on a farm they might be good. Kind a like those green John Deere 4 wheelers.
Hi John, great question. The Kandi Mini may be wider than a standard mobility scooter. We have a customer whose 88-year-old mother swapped out her heavy-duty scooter with the Mini to get around her yard and background and loves it!
Hello Enjoyed the video. Can you please tell me how the golf cart was delivered. Did you have to get it off the truck yourself, or did they drop it on the ground for you? and if so was it extra? thank you for your time
I am humbled - thank you for your kind comment. Love the time having fun with my son. 3+ decades of projects together, since he was old enough to hold a wrench. Very best regards
One more question: You talked about the canopy being high enough for tall people, but the difference between shorter and taller people is 99% in the legs being longer. Can that extending feature of the cart also accomodate someone my size (1.92 m)? Without his knee getting trapped under the steering wheel while trying to safely operate the pedals?
Guy on Ebike at the street corner was hella surprised when someone recognized his Ebike is a VanMoof from Denmark. Little did he know that he was talking to the king of Ebike! :D
Thanks for showing this off to us. I think a used 20yr old club club car fro 3k is a better choice. Since I have a 20yr club car, I should know. At least you know the old club car will last. No problem with parts and it is built to last. The battery on the KANDI is suspect. Will it catch on fire in your garage? Our friends at the TFL youtube channel tested bought and tested a KANDI for the cheapest car you could buy. Again, you get what you pay for. I hope you have good luck with it.
This cart is pretty awesome. Also it turns out they come with key switches now so you can lock it, I just got an early model I guess. Also the price is even lower on Amazon at just $3,499: amzn.to/3YlvXaS
Need to get some rail wheels on that and go see abandoned rails, go camping ;-)

Just found you channel, very educational. Looking forward to seeing more. PS the golf cart looks great.
Cool little e-cart! You have a new subscriber because I enjoy watching you unbox mini vehicles!
Very cool. I really like watching this kind of gadget on UA-cam. Very innovative. I wish I'm gonna have my own in the future .
hahaha that montage song!
‘Charges in any 120V outlet’. That was the winner for me. I wouldn’t buy in my setting but it’s in the memory for future ideas 👍🏽
Ours only draws about 250 watts when charging.
Very nicely done. Does it have turn signals on it? 9 mph may not be fast, but it gets you outside to say high to the neighbors. Is it street legal? Also, you could put a kill switch on yours so it cannot be driven off. Good luck!
Great job on the video! Thanks for making it.
You could sell a ton of those in Palm Springs Cali.
Myy mom could use something like this to get to her mailbox if this would be able to go up and down a steep driveway, do you think it could manage that? Thanks for your videos always fun.
Well done, really enjoyed watching it!
Kool Kart!
enjoyed that, :)
the songs are great - what a fine job there.
a key?
we dont need no stinking key ;)
actually removing the steering column is a fine idea.
16:00 E-bike has the most Dutch name ever. American guy: "I think they're made in Denmark or some sh*t like that"
Haha yea I felt bad correcting him when he was so excited about his bike so I let it go
You got to put a Race Car steering wheel quick release down at the bottom where the column meets the Box
Im well impressed in fit inti a minivan, though i know you guys have far bigger mini vans than we do in the uk. I also love how you can just drive it anywhere. Can't do that in the UK you'll be fined at minimum for no insurance 😂.
What I wanna know is, would it be easy to swap out the controller to have way more top speed?
A 4-up golf cart that you can fit into the back of a minivan is insane!
That would be ideal as a class 1 20mph e-quadricycle
I think for 4000.00 it is a good value. It is a little low on amps but it would do 18 holes of golf with two people no problem. 9mph is not a problem on the golf course.
So cool 😎❤. I have no use for this nor live in a place this would work. I love how it fits in your van
Thanks for the great video. These videos save me from having to buy things like this. I also love that you give an ebike away every video.
That generated song was great! What tool did you use? Udio?
I used Suno, it was my first time playing around with AI music. I’m pretty happy with it!
Curious how you were hooked up to the trailer pulling the canoe.
Rope… nice and simple. Probably not good for highway speeds, but worked fine at 9 mph
Pretty cool! Wish it was road legal as the sheriff here in Illinois has no mercy on old guys in golf carts. Cool golf cart though!
Or get a Dr recommendation for mobility device and you can drive it on the sidewalk or in a store or anywhere a pedestrian is allowed
I have the Kangacruz same thing and I love mine ❤
How did you get your cart in red want to order one?
A fleet of these at a course with solar panels on the canopy. Single golf carts for everyone. Race your friends go right up to your ball. Free charging.
A solar panel wouldn't be nearly enough charge but whatever you like
Maybe most of us should live in little resort communities where we can get around in mini golf carts.
@@16driver16 most golf carts don't get used daily so sitting in the sun all day for multiple days would be enough. You probably have to plug in on busy holidays but most of the year majority could be solar
@dannyjackson1331 no, not even close!!! The size of panel would take MONTHS to charge those batteries... not even close to enough power
At 3:59, I saw the electric boat in the background. Are there any plans to upgrade the electric boat and/or make a follow-up video on it?
Yes! Much of it is already done and filmed, actually. Mostly in the editing stage now.
This is a pretty awesome cart. Very impressive for what it is. I spent 3 times that for my electric cart.
Sounds like it needs to be modded to get a higher top speed!
Do you have an update on how it's held up? Does it have enough power to drive into a pickup truck on ramps?
Brilliant idea to drive it downtown. And shopping with a steering wheel
That battery is over half the sale price. I’m impressed.
It should run roughly $550. Li Time sells a 48v 30ah for about 425, and a 60 for 810.
@@grythumn
My brain must have been glitching when I made this comment. 🤣. For some reason I thought he said it was a 105 ah battery
Ours came with a 48v 38ah battery.
That's an amazing little golf cart, thanks for sharing it with us. 👍😎👍
I just saw this thing at my local Camping World in Kissimmee this past 4th of July weekend. I'm 6-1, 350lbs, I made the gf take a pic of me sitting on it in the store. It was pretty funny.
That's a cool song is that you and your dad!?!!🎉😅
That's me, yes !!
i am wondering if you could add a flexible solar panel to the roof. how much would that cost additional?
Ratchet straps are cool because straps are so useful on everything
Would swapping the battery out to a 100Ahr battery be just a simple swap or would the charge controllere need changing, too? Would tha 38Ahr battery take me through 18 holes and then some because not all my shots are down the middle of the fairway - a little off=roading is always a possibility.😅 Later in your video, you anwered my range question.
Did they really ship that thing expanded? Why would they do that if they could compress it and fit more per container?
Nice! Unfortunately here in the Netherlands, we have pretty strict rules about what can be on public roads or sidewalks and things like this just aren't allowed for without a ton of modifications and a hefty insurance. But on a farm they might be good. Kind a like those green John Deere 4 wheelers.
How does it compare to a mobility scooter?
I am looking into an etrike
Hi John, great question. The Kandi Mini may be wider than a standard mobility scooter. We have a customer whose 88-year-old mother swapped out her heavy-duty scooter with the Mini to get around her yard and background and loves it!
Lowe’s online has the cart on sale for 2,999. $500 discount lasts until September 11.
Is this the smallest version of the Cybertruck and does it fit into the bed of a Cybertruck?
Hello Enjoyed the video. Can you please tell me how the golf cart was delivered. Did you have to get it off the truck yourself, or did they drop it on the ground for you? and if so was it extra? thank you for your time
Tail gate delivery is available, sometimes at an additional cost. You need to check prior to ordering.
I have been watching quite of few of your videos with your purchases. The best highlights of them are your dad.
I am humbled - thank you for your kind comment. Love the time having fun with my son. 3+ decades of projects together, since he was old enough to hold a wrench. Very best regards
Radiates fun times :) Great!
So if that thing falls apart will you do a fair follow on? It doesnt look great for the long haul.
Im guessing it's limited electronically on speed, maybe the controller could be adjusted or replaced
Has there been any progress on programming?
👍🏽⚡️ always the most interesting and unique content thank you mika
I have seen Kandi mini before, i just love it. But in autocratic place like singapore, there is no chance you can get it and use it!
Guy on Ebike at the street corner was hella surprised when someone recognized his Ebike is a VanMoof from Denmark. Little did he know that he was talking to the king of Ebike! :D
Technically Netherlands but he was so excited about it I didn’t have the heart to correct him 😂
@@EbikeSchool To be fair, he did qualify his statement by saying, "all the way out in Denmark _or some $#!+..."_ 😂
Thanks for showing this off to us.
