- In this video I'm looking at the Flying Burrito Brother's classic Sin City. I start by looking at the basic acoustic chords, then get into my own guitar arrangement which includes plenty of tasty country licks.

Wow! You did this classic proud. Sneaky Pete would be proud of you. I’ve listened to this album for decades. Well done Adrian ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌌🌅🌠
Adrain is Adrian's lesser known Celtic twin brother. He doesn't really do social media, he just wanders the wind-pined moors looking all mysterious and aloof, but I'll pass on your message to him.

@@meadish lol, thanks.
Hey Adrian, many thanks for all your fantastic teaching, I've learned so much from you over this past 2 or 3 years! And - dude ( ! ) - I can't compliment you highly enough for your immaculate taste - both in the choice of songs you cover and your playing.. thanks again! all the best Dom
Can’t wait to watch this after work. Gram Parsons was one of my favorite artists when I was just 18-19
You’re usually presenting songs from across the spectrum that I love and cherish but having given us Complete Control, O My Soul and now this I’m considering adopting you. You made this old guy proud!
Really well done , I can see how useful the cage shapes can be especially when finding chord tones. The going chromatically to the flat 7 is a takeaway I will be stealing. Thanks for sharing your guitar knowledge.
Beautiful arrangement and the touch is sublime all the way through
I've been a fan of Gram and the Flying Burrito Brothers since the late 80's. Thank you sooo much for this video!
Great lesson and the way you walk through to explain a song and how it works is really superb. Thank you, Adrian!
THIS is a fantastic lesson, no BS, just right to the point! Blessings to ya brother...
Great arrangement, Adrian! Love all the double stops and bends 😊
Can't believe you made this videoooo, incredibleeee
Adrian, finally! You had a list of 10 alternative songs for beginners and I picked this one. I can play a pretty basic version so I'm great this video came out.
I think the solo is particularly confusing cuz it just sounds like the notes in a D major chord and I want to breathe some live into.🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is fabulous! I wasn’t familiar with the original and have been alternating between your arrangement and the recording. Wonderful lesson!
Nice one!!! Very beautifully done Adrian. ❤❤❤
Just a lovely song, and your arrangement sounds great!
OK...it's time for an album of Adrian singing and playing alt country favorites!
Glad to see that someone remember FBB:)
I've loved this song for ages! Amazing song choice and lesson.
Thanks so much 😊
The flying burrito bros are my favourite
That was great! Well done!
Fantastic! Thanks!
Wonderful feel .
Fantastic, Adrian. Ye Ole British Beast! Tasty licks and great explanation as always...
That was beautiful Adrian, thanks for that. I'm gonna adapt that to be played on a B Bender, but it sure sounds sweet the way you play it.
Loved this!!
Perfect
Gram Parsons Magic...of course..
Wow Adrian. This is much more than recreate the original, you made it your own. In Yankspeak we would say you knocked this one out of the park / pitch.
you're taste is great.
Wonderful as always! If you ever fancied doing a breakdown of Teenage Fan Club’s version of the Burrito’s Older Guys we’d love that!
Awesome
killer playing man. enough chops to open a butcher shop.
and tone as creamy as cheese grits
Cosmic American Music ❤
Such a great (and subtly weird) song. Looking forward to digging in to this one.
G.R.E.A.T
Is Eb a particularly friendly key for a pedal steel guitar. I can't think of another reason to not pitch it in D.

Great covers, could you perhaps do a video on Swans - love will tears us apart. In my opinion, it's better than original and great song yet uncovered on yt
Would you say this is good for someone who's never played country?
You don't count Sweetheart of the Rodeo as country rock?
Be ay u tee full
Frowns at the band picture but excitedly opens anyway expecting some AC/DC...
Ah.
Oh well sounds great all the same!
I say not to shred 👎
I thought you were going to play a country arrangement of AC/DC's song. Bummer..
That's your idea, and a good one too. Looking forward to hearing it!
Great one Adrian! The electric guitar bits are especially nice. 👍🏻
