I make these Midwest lures and they have changed the way my family and I fish for bass. Absolute game changer. Needs to be in any bass fishermans tackle!!
Man I gotta give you the upmost props! You really show people who are in the “beginning stage” of fishing like myself who enjoy fishing how to catch them. I’ve fished before but the way I was taught was to bottom fish and I thought that was the only way to fish other than using a bobber. I just found this lake near me where the fish were very active but I was unaware using powerbait for trout when the lake has mostly bass. Just watching your videos got me pumped!! I can’t wait to show my friends new ways to fish based off the videos I watched on your channel, thank you bro 💯
your the best and I love all your videos and all the tips and tricks you show us you have help me out a lot on becoming a better fisherman and I just want to say thanks to you for all the time and help you give to us all i appreciate it so much and everyone of ur videos I take something away from them to help me get better at fishing so thank you and keep up the great work thanks
The NED Rig with a TRD catches bass 👍 I just used it in the local ponds and with a group of us the only one getting bites were the Ned Rigs. Great rig. We have used both colors and success with both. 🎣
Dude I love your channel this kind of stuff is so helpful. I just tried this out and caught a ton of fish including a fish that was almost four pounds. Thank you and keep it up.👍🙏🐠
Awesome video!! Btw was your line not in the guides in the beginning? 😂 thought I was trippin!! And also I love California 420 too. Probably my favorite color of bait next to green pumpkin
Noah one tip I learned is that you can super glue the wiener bait to the mushroom jig just at the top and it stops the wiener bait from sliding down the hook and it helps the bait stay together
I've been using Ned rigs for a while and usually catch bass on it when nothing else is working that day. I actually came up with a design I can the Wacky Ned Rig which is more like a drop shot but I put a weedless kahle hook on top with a Wacky rigged senko and then use the Zman Shroomz weedless jig as the drop shot weight with either a TRD worm or a small curly tail worm with the tail ripped off. Caught a nice 13" on it on my second cast and funny enough it hit the Zman jig rather than the bigger senko above it which proved to me again that sometimes the bass want a smaller profile. I was twitching it through the edge of some reeds when he hit it. I did end up getting broke off later in the reeds even though I was using weedless hooks but I think it was more that my line got tangled on them more than the hook getting stuck.
Thx for the tips. Caught 2 bass and a tilapia the other day...thx to u and Lojo's advice. As a chick that comes from (only) saltwater fishing to freshwater..........do u prefer a spinner or baitcast? I only have spinners.
Thank you!! Thats awesome! I use a spinning rod for light and finesse baits like a dropshot/ned rig. I use a baitcaster for everything else. Thanks for watching as always!
I've never caught anything yet on ned rigs. I've only tried them a few times. I have caught fish on the tube version, throwing it weightless, weedless. Also I've landed a good number of fish on the zman 4.5" finesse worm, on a shakey head, and weightless. I should probably just use the TRD as a topwater bait, working it over pads, weightless, weedless. You don't need to use a spinning rod to throw light things. I pretty much use UL(or BFS) baitcasting gear for just about all of my fishing. Basically baitcasters with really shallow, light spools, and casting rods that can handle light lures. If you're interested, there's a decent cheap reel on amazon for 66$, Tsurinoya xf50, that comes with a shallow light spool, and works nicely for light weight lures. I have 2 of them. A cheap 20$ rod can be found on amazon, shakespeare micro graphite series 5'6" Light, casting rod. I have that rod,as well as the short 4'6" model, from a spincast combo from walmart. There are a number of other cheap rods out there that will work too. If you love using baitcasters, you don't really need to use spinning gear for lighter stuff. Good luck!
A tad late I've been subscribed for like a month and I love your channel great tips! That being said any tips on twitching your rod I always end up popping it too hard I cant figure out how to hop it like you did
I had never heard of Ned rig till I seen this video and thought it was bs but last couple day fishing has been real tough so I said what the heck and rigged it up and caught 7 and broke off 12lb p line on one soon as I set the hook
I was able to buy the Ned rig setup “Cali craw” and caught one this morning. It was a dink but it was fun. I ended up getting a bigger one on a lipless crankbait.
Joshua Robbins reel your line tight, pull the line between your reel and bottom guide tight lift your rod tip high and let the line u pulled tight go but all at the same time. More often then not u will pop ur bait free
The Ned Rig is my go to lure. FYI they also sell those same z-man jig heads weedless.
It's killer for sure, Imma have to go get me some!

What action on the rod would y’all use
Great tutorial!!
How heavy is your jig on those neds?
Extremely effective I’ve caught 7lb and a 9lber on a ned rig I use the big trd
I had never heard of Ned rig till I seen this video and thought it was bs but last couple day fishing has been real tough so I said what the heck and rigged it up and caught 7 and broke off 12lb p line on one soon as I set the hook
Ned’s are awesome for pressured ponds and areas of lakes and rivers.

All killer baits for sure! Drop shot is fire. Thanks for watching man!
Damn right the Ned rig is the best
It's killer my dude!
My pond has a lot on cat tails and weeds how do I fish it for bass
Ned is bomb! I went to a 4.5 and work week. I fish it really slow.
Yes
What lures would you recommend for a decent size lake (boat fishing) with hard to find bass
All depends on the water clarity/depth of the lake. Also the structure/cover you would be fishing. Thanks for watching man!
Dirty water. Maybe a foot of visibility
Awesome! I actually learned the ned rig from Fluke as well! Your content has stepped up! Still wanna see some saltwater fish whoop you 😏😂😂😂😝
Can i have a Link to your freuen rod
Great video, thank you.
Thanks for watching my man!!
Been wanting to try them out. Might get some tonight to try out this weekend.
I was able to buy the Ned rig setup “Cali craw” and caught one this morning. It was a dink but it was fun. I ended up getting a bigger one on a lipless crankbait.

# LEMMER PEPPER LOVE IT

Use a medium light rod 6.5-6.8ft long with a 2000 series spinning reel. 12lb braid with a 6lb leader.
For sure! Thats the only spinning rod I had with my here in atl. Thanks for watching man!

Ok that one is going to be good I just bought a 50 piece soft plastic shakey head kit
No, you rig a shakey head like a straight shank flipping hook
lil winner
me and my dad were fishing down a bank he was in the back of the boat he probably had 3 times the bite on the ned rig to my swimjig
Bro you should let me be your barber it’s cool but stepping ur game up everything gotta come up
Neds are the best
Look at all the muscle he has and small fish he brings it in really fast
Nice video man, would like to do a collab with you soon! The energy you have is about as good as mine 😂 #tightlinesandkeepfishing #CSSquad
I had the ned rig but my tackle box got stolen before I could try it😩
First to like
AYYYYY Thanks for the support man!
#california420 it the bong man!!! lol

LOL im dead hahaha! Thanks for watching brotha!
KickinTheirBASSTV no problem!
Surprising how such a small mole bait works. I am going to have to try it out here in California
Hey buddy
That thumbnail with a baitcaster

If you get it hung on a log that thin wire hook will snap already lost 2 lol
That's the truth. The hook isnt the best. Thanks for watching bro!
KickinTheirBASSTV no problem man thanks for the videos
Joshua Robbins reel your line tight, pull the line between your reel and bottom guide tight lift your rod tip high and let the line u pulled tight go but all at the same time. More often then not u will pop ur bait free
The_reelest_one ok thanks for the tip
Joshua Robbins not a problem man just make sure you hear a snapping sound from the line usually works buddy keep at it 🤙
