Still slightly sad that Ashes was such a miss for you, though I can totally see why (and yes, especially Kit is really intense on audio lol). Yay for Gwynne sticking the landing once again though, I really can't wait to get back into Bloodsworn myself!
Great video, Dom! Reminded me that I also have to get back into the Bloodsworn saga, read book 1 last year and really enjoyed it. Glad to hear the ending lands it. I read 3 books in October, Blood of the Old Kings, Along the Razor's Edge, and Joel Glover's The Thirteenth Prince. Good reading month, that was.
I read 9 books in Oct, several of which were horror books. The best ones were Horror Movie by Paul Tremblay and Rain by Michael McDowell. I really liked them. I also read A Song for Arbonne by GGK. I thought it was pretty good, better than Tigana which is the only other GGK book I've read. The rest were all sci-fi: Eyes of Empire by JCM Berne, Service Model by Tchaikovsky, Childhood's End by Arthur C Clark, Earthside by Dennis Taylor, and Livesuit by James SA Corey. I actually liked all of them and I didn't realize until now how much scifi I read in Oct.
Interesting take on The Fury of the Gods. Definitely want to take a stab at the books, good thoughts going into it.
Fury of the Gods❤

It's the way it goes sometimes. And yeah, Kit was... something!

Along the Razor's Edge was great, and The Thirteenth Prince sounded interesting. Glad you had a good month!
Hoping to get to Fury of the Gods next month as just finishing the re-read of Book 2- great that you enjoyed it
I hope you enjoy it too!

Wow, that's good going, and rather sci-fi heavy!
