Nice 57! I was perturbed when i got that new 57(the one with the blue one on it) and it could only be built stock! I did the same thing and uilt a gasser out of my parts boxes.
@@jeannechaffee6024 AMT has two versions of the ‘57 Chevy Coupe. This is a reissue of the original that I believe was first issued in 1959 or 1960. A lot of the vintage speed parts were included in this kit. In fact, I only used the wheels, tires, front suspension, and ladder bars from the AMT ‘55 Nomad kit. The door mirrors are from the AMT ‘67 Impala kit. Now, the newer version of AMT’s ‘57 Chevy is more accurate, and comes molded with an opening trunk. I’ve never built the newer version, but this older version I’ve had quite a few times as a kid, but I must say - they did an awesome job on this current reissue, the detail engraving is amazing. This older issue is apparently a favourite amongst many in our hobby.
Well done! I really like it.

I think that's the amt. Blue 57. Currently, out that kit does not even have one speed part, not even a shifter. It's a great kit to fabricate.
