Coffee table model car builds (literally). My builds are rattle can sprayed, detail painted, and my modelling tools are the most basic - files, sandpapers, detail brushes, and a few knives. Can I foil, airbrush, and purchase aftermarket parts? Absolutely I can; however, our hobby is already expensive as it is. My “bench” is my coffee table, my shop is the living room, and my spray booth is the outdoors. In all honesty, I wouldn’t be criticizing people on how they’re building or detailing a model, with the knowledge that my wallet is simply bigger. I just love building kits, and I do so on a necessary budget. Not everybody can afford the tech and aftermarket parts, required for top contest level builds. Plus, not everybody has the luxury of work space. My very first build was Revell’s 1957 Bel Air, glue bombed way back in 1974 - I returned to our hobby during the pandemic, after a 25 year hiatus. The actual roots of our hobby, is about us all having fun, and dreaming.

@@cindyweiland3929 it’s painted with Tamiya TS rattle cans - paint dries quite quickly, which makes it a dream to work with when you don’t have a personal painting area. I’m renting a suite, and I have a very small work area - my living room coffee table, then I paint outside and off property. However, the Canadian government has banned the Tamiya and Testors rattle cans due to a certain chemical.

Nice kits
Wish they had started the wagon line with that on instead of the curbside/ craftsman style nice review.
Some really cool adds. The Nova wagon has a lot of stuff for your parts box. I still need to pick up one of those Galaxies a bag of dry beans in a sock makes a good sandbag to steady things up
That's a fun looking kit. I really like the old school square bodied wagons. Have fun with that onte.

@@Mannysscalemodeling thank you, a bit of kit bashing went into this build - it’s a reissue of a 1970s model kit, with a few upgrades. I’m currently making and fitting some rear side windows for it now. I have the two newer releases of the ‘71 Mustangs by Revell. I haven’t decided on the direction I’m going to build them though.

Any lacquer clear will work.
In the future, clear over the decals first. Cut close to the decals if you use that trick. Nice save great build.
