From my understanding the Delay feature will delay the flash after you press the shutter by whatever time setting you select. I believe it's between 0.01-30 seconds. I can see it being useful if you wanted to drag the shutter and maybe do some "light painting" around your subject then hit your subject with a pop of flash to freeze their motion. Makes sense in my brain.
Great walkthrough Francisco. Can’t wait to see you do a shoot with it.

Great review. Thanks you. Add it to my BlackFriday wishlist
Great video! What is the recycling time for the strobe. An article states that it is between 0.01 - 0.9 and another one states 0.01-2.5.
2.5s is closer cause of voltage
Looking good! Might purchase one
Great Video!! I'll have to pick one of these up since I never use the TTL
Great review! How do you access the color stable mode?
Does the recycle time shorten if you use the AC adapter?
Have the same question
Really feeling this light. The only thing I can’t seem to get over is why they decided to remove the handle at the back…
Does the new fan mean we get more pops before the high temp slow down kicks in?
Does this have a better battery than the other models? I know the battery on the other ad600's can mess up if you don't charge it every 2-3 months.
Great question
Does this light have an action mode so you can capture very fast moving subjects?… like liquid splash for example?
Sure does, you can either use flash duration (inside) or HSS (outside). It’s a great light and love them.
Nice vid
Is the Flashpoint XP600 PRO Portable 600WS Extension Flashhead compatible with this too?
On the Adorama website, it says that this strobe has TTL Compatibility! but non-TTL monolight. What does this mean?
probably a missprint
Or that its TTL "compatability" is non TTL
No TTL in this light so must be an error on their site.
Do I need to buy a xpro trigger with this for my Leica or the remote that comes with it will work?
You need the Leica-specific version.
all the godox remote controller work with this new XPLOR 600 SE?
It should be okay.
Does this flash use the Godox triggers?
I had the same question. According to Google, seems like the R2 remotes are cross compatible. (Ugh, no TTL)
does it work with godox xpro ?
of course
Yup! The Flashpoint R2 system is the same as the Godox X1 system.
Nice
So it seems this light is equivalent to the xplor 600 pro with the stable color mode correct?
Yup! Lots of great pro features but at a lower price. Only thing the 600 SE doesn't have is TTL which I don't even recommend to photographers anyway.
So does it mean i can't set the stops from my camera (Control) ???
Is this the same as the new ad600pro just released?
It's similar but not the same.
Wait.
Did I watch this and not get a discount code?
😢😊
So it can use the very old Godox AD600M battery?
Yup! Tried this with my own AD600BM battery. Wish I had showed that in this video.
What's the equivalent in godox?
Flashpoint is godox just witha different name for Adorama to sell. But I haven’t seen this with a godox name on it yet
Ad600pro would probably be the closet thing to this
To my knowledge there's no Godox equivalent as this product was designed by Adorama so it's exclusive to them.
@gmphotography7165 yeah, only Adorama has this because I believe they designed it themselves so it’s an exclusive item with them.
I have seen something similar on a Godox website but it won't get announced for another 4-5 days or so. It might be called the Godox Ad600 Pro II.
So basically same light as before but with a Profoto display.
