As a barber for 11 years, making well over 100k isn’t that hard of a feat… you just have to work hard and be there for clients and be reliable and the money will come!! I make over 3k a week cutting hair, make more then most of the people i know.
Im tryna become a barber in a year or so but man congratz on your hard work, well deserved every penny you make, i get being a barber or any business you are in control of your income this is the mindset i want to be when i become a advanced barber much respect from australia brother 💯

dont forgret we have to pay booth rent/comission, tools, products, etc. we spend alot on that shit. 740 a day but theres losses as well dont get it confused
I'm not knocking the hustle, but I don't know what happened to the rate of inflation on haircuts. 70$ for a basic taper is insane to me. I'm 39, and as a kid in Detroit in the early 90's a fade was 5$. From there the price of cuts would go up about 2-3$ every 3-4 years or so and that was reasonable. But man a taper was still only 20$ in like 2015. But from then on the price started pretty much doubling so instead of going from 20 to like 23 or even 25, they jumped to like 30-35, then from there to 40-50, to now, it's 50-60 for a line up! I was fortunate my best friend cut my hair for about 12 years at 20$ + a tip, then when COVID happened I taught myself how to cut my own hair. I fear that for you barbers , ya'll about to price yourselves out of the market. Regular people don't have 70$ or more for a haircut every week or 2 and they'll start finding out that with a pair of 30$ adjustable Wahl clippers, a few youtube videos and some practice they can get some pretty good results. I just think this is something barbers should really start to take into account as you keep going up in your prices, that at a certain point you'll start losing alot of clientele because people just can't afford to keep up.
I agree barbers can price themselves out of clients if their not smart about it. As far as for me and other barbers that has build up to these price points we're not targeting the average person. As far as my clientle goes the majority of them make 6,7 figures or more. I think that the national average $50 for a good quality haircut and service is cool.
@@jefecuts I think maybe you should have made that more explicit in the video that you cater to a higher earning clientele. You're obviously very good at what you do, but the impression I got from this video is that a normal barber can make over 700$ in a day off of cutting 7 heads. But, full disclosure I make six figures, care a ton about my hair to where I was a 'cut every week ' client and I still can't fathom paying more than 35$ tops for a taper and line up. Just maybe something to keep in mind. Loved the video though, it was very informative!

Sir I need huge advice I’m looking for something or the sort shop set up u have haow can I get a corner stone barbershop I’m a legally blind barber and I need a shop to where I can control the factors of who comes in and out my establishment I’m wondering if you could help in been working as a barber since 2012
My advice if you have a decent strong clientele and do not rely on walk in clients, to rent out your own studio and work on appointments only. Youll have full control of who comes in and out of your studio.
Awesome work my guy.. I have always been drawn to babering..iv wanted to learn the trade but never took the leap..i def believe i cld gave the tallent to pick it up.. I a father of 5 with a 9 to 5 job making ok money but still scraping buy.. Iv been looking to find something on the side to make extra money and babering has alway been one of them.. I am 41yr old.. Idk if it too late to make the jump. I def enjoyed this video and subbed right away.. I live in Florida also.. I have a buddy who is very well know innthe baber world and does some out of the world work..fabian fadez I have asked him in the past if he would show me some tricks and there is a school loacal to me also..

It’s all about where you live, in the late 90s a Caesar was like 13 and a shape up was 8. That was also over 20 years ago, nothing is the same price
