    You are being brutally honest and many need the truth because, many do not have the discipline to stick it out. Nothing is ever easy but if it means something to you then its worth the struggle. The top of the mountain always has space for winners. LETS GOOOOO!!!

    Bro this is fire 🔥 and all the free tutorials and gems dropped for free on hair cutting tutorials is phenomenal. I joined a course for barbering under the guise of getting haircut tutorials just recently and pay $50 monthly to be in the course, most of the moudles on the course were about building clientele and not focused on cutting hair 😂. It had maybe 7 videos on cutting hair and 20+ vids on other things.
    I wish i couldve stumbled onto your content sooner so I couldve saved all that money I wasted 😂.

    • @JosCuts
      @JosCuts  9 місяців тому +3

      word of mouth is the oldest and most effective trick in the book. most people think that it is social media but its not. put yourself in the shoes of a client. would you rather someone tell you to cut your hair with them through a screen, someone you've never met before. OR, would you rather go to your homies barber or cousins barber after they tell you how dope they are? be a DOPE mf, the cooler you are as a human and person, the more positive vibes you give, the more clientele you will attract. the best form of marketing is a positive vibe the rest will follow. its not corny its the truth!

    I hope this message gets to many young men and woman, I was 34 when I got spinal cancer and left in a wheelchair. ♿️ I worked for the Long Island Railroad for 10 years but before that I was a Carpenter making 1200 cash every week. Great money but in the long run I thank God I made the choice to take the job, career with the LIRR. Today I get a pension and disability and I also get money from a retirement account. You never know tomorrow and it’s important to prepare for the worst.
    Had I stayed a carpenter which isn’t bad but when sickness comes knocking at your door you better hope you have some kind of retirement plan cause what happened to me can happen to anyone. If I didn’t have a job with those benefits, I’d be in a crappy situation.
    Get a career that’s on the books and gives you a retirement for when you retire.
    Ask yourself what and how will you live, survive if you become sick enough where you can’t work tomorrow?

      This is a tough question to answer because I don’t know your work ethic. All I can do is tell you the pros and cons from a person who DROPPED out of COLLEGE to do barbering full time. I went to College 2 years to study for Civil engineering. I dropped out when I was booking 10-12 haircuts a day and realized I can make more from cutting hair than 99% of career choices from college. That being said, it’s not easy. You have no idea how many barbers I’ve seen come to the shop and leave or quit barbering because sometimes you have days when you cut 1-2 people ALL day. If you can put the work in , stay in the shop, perfect your customer service, and perfect your haircut technique . Go all IN on barbering. Here are PROS: you choose your own schedule, you work with your friends/ people who become friends, you meet new people, get all types of connections (example: I cut people who do landscape, photography, roofing, wedding venues, clothing brands, etc.) , you get to choose how much you want to make, you are your own boss.
      Here are the CONS: since you get to choose your own schedule you can be your own enemy if you’re lazy and lack discipline, sometimes the shop is slow and it can kill your drive and motivation to keep going, it’s nerve wrecking to cut new people or to have fear of fucking a haircut up. All these CONS are controlled by your emotions. If you can control your emotions throughout your journey, there is absolutely 0% chance of failure I guarantee it ! If you’re going to do something go ALL IN !

      What’s the average haircut price in your city? Times that price by 2 and then times that by 8… 2 haircuts every 30 minutes = how much / hour you can make. Times that by 8 to find out how much you can make in 1 day. If you like that number, then yes absolutely it’s a PHENOMENAL Career
