Just a quick bit of information for people who want this game on console but who hasn’t been following it. While you can build pretty detailed zoos and seem to have plenty of animals the game features a complexity meter that will hinder your building abilities abit. From what we’ve seen so far you can still build fairly massive zoos but not to the degree that you’ll be able to on pc, atm we have 3 zoos with confirmed percentage meters. Scenario 3 from China has a meter percentage off 33%, the Indian scenario which I believe is scenario 4 or 5 that has a meter percentage off 21%, and finally the Europe expansion that has a meter percentage off 55%. Now the thing all these zoos have in common is that they are all very detailed and are pretty huge already so at the very least you should be able to double the Indian and China scenario zoos. On a bad note the meter also includes animals so I don’t think your gonna be making 200+ animal zoos on console. But from rough estimates just including building you should be able to place roughly 100,000 peace’s in your zoos, that might sound like a lot, or it might not but your average exhibit will likely take at max 250-300 peace’s and that’s a very detailed exhibit. Overall you should be able to make the zoos you want just don’t place a million rocks or bushes and you should be fine, if anything I’m sure in future updates they might increase the meter abit more for when there adding new animals, if people don’t buy there new animals after launch there not earning that extra money that comes with them so they will likely try there hardest to increase the player base.
Ughhh I hate when they do that shit!! Console players deserve as much as the console will allow just as much as pc!! Obviously they are diffferent. But they always jip console players and rip us off!!!
@@K.114. thank you for being respectful just trying to build awareness. Im hoping that if people read this it helps them a lot, I’ve preordered the game because from what we’ve seen so far it Dosent greatly affect me. I like to build zoos with maybe 15-18 species at a time, but obviously some people like to build a lot more. And I understand your frustration but even if we take the Xbox series X at it’s highest, it’s still only got the same power and processor as a middle class PC. But in the grand scheme of things I highly doubt that a lot of people will even notice the meter you have to go into the settings to even se it. But even if you go watch frontiers stream on there Chanel you can se the zoos they showed off are massive and have huge amounts of detail aswell.
I played on pc when it first came out but it wasn't a gaming pc so I couldn't make massive zoos anyway and would start to lag at a certain point, plus I'm mainly a console gamer anyway. But the biggest zoo I built on pc only had around 6000 building pieces, and I thought that was very detailed!! Honestly thought I used way more but I didn't, and to me that amount of building pieces still made my zoos look nice.... I don't think I can ever hit 20,000 peices when making zoos.. I only plan to make medium sized themed zoos anyway so I probably won't even hit the 100% complexity meter.
@@andrewpayne5093 unless you’ve got like over 300 animals in your zoo even with 40,000 building peaces I’d say that would barely make it to 90% if the estimates we’ve got are correct. My largest zoo on pc is around 70k building peaces and 116 animals, most of them were endangered species so I didn’t have a stupidly large amount. And I should realistically be able to make that zoo on console again with abit of wiggle room. My favourite zoos like I said, are zoos with at max 20 species. I like to make continental zoos like for example, an all American zoo, and then an Asian zoo and so on and so fourth.
Big big hype for this game. Been manifesting a console release since PC launch and its finally coming. I'm so happy for all us console gamers! Pre-ordered the deluxe edition, only a few days left!
Nice detail on the animals. I wonder if the player is allowed to play as any animal or tourist, and walk around the maps in 3rd person. Probably not since it's a strategy game, though Cities Skylines allows it.
I’m assuming there will be but does anyone know if there are going to be any tutorials I’ve had practice on games like jwe1+2 and planet coaster so I think I’ll know the basics but I’m not sure
i was interested until, DLC for and old game. This should be a complete package, instead $115, for it in the future too? i bought L4D 1, and turtlerock abandoned that one year later requiring me to buy 2. Pass until a GotY
I’m confused so are you upset because you think all the dlc should be included. Or are you upset that you can buy the full game and all the dlc for $115?
They can't just port all this content over, they have to remake all of it for console. Thats why it costs what it does and the dlc content trickles out over a years time hence the season pass option. Please learn how game development works.
I mean it has one of steams highest percentage of satisfaction rate ever, the game cost 240k to make and made at least 35mil in under 6 months. Pound for pound it’s one of the most successful games to ever come out and that’s only gonna improve with console id hardly call that a trash game.

I hope frontier makes a planet entertainment, where it includes features from both planet coaster, zoo, and a new water park mode.
Basically RCT3 but more modern and realistic
@@OG124X yep. And I also guess we don’t need a new waterpark mode anymore 😂
I broke down and bought the ultimate edition a couple weeks ago, so excited to play it next week
So did I! I couldn't help myself. I haven't played a zoo simulator in years so I felt overwhelmed had to!
Nice everyone!
Is it good?
Really curious how hard the controls are? I love playing it on my pc but sometimes I just wanna lay on the couch and play this with a controller

Is there a way to pause time in the PS5 version? On PC you can pause time while you build, but can't figure how to do that on PS5.
Can you put a zebra in the Lion's den?
Do I have this option?
I care less how sinister this sound.

The campaign will be like a turtorial
Is the camera controls better on console? When I tried it on pc, the camera was atrocious
They look nearly identical to JWE2 so if anything there gonna be relatively good
Probably
It would be the same to planet coaster I think
I use to have this game on my xbox. I loved it so much ❤ but now i’m on ps5
Is it similar to Jurassic World Evolution or more like previous zoo tycoon games where u need to scoop animal poops urself?
You hire staff to do all the work for you.
Dinosaurs in JWE2 do not poop lol 😂
Keyboard and mouse support on series X - sign me up.
I wish I had a chance to try before buying. I hate it, completely lost.
I was completely lost too when i bought it on PC last year. You have to keep trying and watch walkthrough video’s until you get the feel of the game.
Nicey nicey zoo, zoo, for him and her and me and you. 😂
That is a niche as hell reference haha

I uninstalled Coaster planet on my console because its hard to control so this is pass for me. I will stick in PC
Will this be better on ps5 or Xbox series x?
Yes
@@alvybar2990 so informative lol. Which console will be better I mean?

Will be the same..
Can't really know that until it's released.
It's that the one that doesn't have wolves?
Huh ? There maned, timber and Arctic wolf in the game.
The opposite of that they have 3 different wolves you can get in the game (including dlcs)
Does anyone know if it’s Xbox one s compatible?

Only PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
