About the 808, I listen to a lot of type beat and many UK Drill songs, lots of engineer set their 808 on stereo. Why?
Exactly, I dont understand it too. I used to produce EDM tracks before and every producer/Dj were telling to set the kicks and subKicks on Mono. 🤷♂️

It’s just personal preference. There’s no right or wrong, if it sounds sick it sounds sick. If you’re gonna make the 808 stereo just check what the master sounds like in mono before exporting

@@JayCactusTV I'm done with it. Been doing beats 2 years and my kicks sounded better when I started lol. Seems like it works when u use limiter not clipper for mixer but still it won't hit hard enough for drill I think.

Edm producers use this more than others. but Some trap producers say you should and others say no. Choose what you think is the best for your beat.
Sometimes, each situation is different but I don’t use it that much
i'd rather my kick have more bass than my 808 just preference idk why people diss on sidechaining sm 😹
No diss to side-chain it definitely comes in handy but at the right time
