difflocktwo I used 3xOsc to make 808s but i could never get 808s to sound I wanted them and this video is drill specific

The 808s I use confuse me cuz an 808 on c4 would be q c#4 but then the octave above would be correct...idk how to evenly tune them

Not sure exactly what you mean bro but I’d say either bring it down an octave or use an eq to take out some of the high’s and boost the low’s
y is there are some 808s when played even in higher octaves but still has some low end attached to them , and btw pls do some of these sound design stuff on kicks too

Sometimes sounds are made up of multiple layers. So you could have a sinewave in one octave with a sub layer an octave below it if that makes sense

All the drill tutorials I see are with the same piano melodies, try to make some different like orchestra
