I was picturing the injections I had to have in my eye. I was honestly glad for the puff of air and not a needle.

@@HappyMatt12345 Let's make it worse, shall we? I got shingles in my eyes. I had to two twenty injection doses in both eyes. First injection, they just said "Hey, we're doing this." Took three people to hold me down, I swear it was a scene out of Clockwork Orange.

As someone who LOATHES the glaucoma test, this is the most horrifying depiction of the dread, experience and relief after it's over you subsequently feel when that time comes. Well done.
I remember going to the eye doctor and experiencing exactly this! The lady had to repeat the process SIX TIMES because I kept blinking.

Yep. As a Specsavers customer I can confirm the test is weird. I also hate it where you can see them putting light in your eye and you can see the inside of it or all the blood vessels. Always freaks me out a lil

I remember having this test done for the first time. I was warned about the puff of air. My Dad was wetting himself laughing from the waiting area when he saw me jump at least ten feet out of the chair.

The last time I had the puff of air I was in grade school. Since then I've had those yellow-colored drops and some blue thing moving along my eyes. But the past few times I've had this contraption that flicks out and taps your eye, no drops needed. It's more annoying than painful but still better than air or eye drops.

The last one I ever did, they tried for 10 minutes, but I absolutely could not stop blinking. I knew the puff of air w was coming so I just blinked like crazy in anticipation. Even tried holding my own eye open. Couldn't do it 😂 they finally gave up

I e worn prescription lenses since I was 8 years old I'm now 36 and yes this is store that I can emotionally and truly connect with it's not just another creepypasta lol

And I thought I was the only one who was terrified waiting for that puff of air 😮 one time when it hit me I jerked backwards so violently the chair I was in rolled backwards and (with me still in it, mind you) ran into the wall about 2 feet behind me. If it were me witnessing this scene I probably would have laughed till my sides hurt. But the lady did not laugh, just stared at me like I had 5 heads. "Embarrassed" doesn't even come close to how I felt.
