EDIT: I checked the comments, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.
The only problem with this story is how simple a solution to the creature in the pond is. Take an extension cord from your house (I'm sure you have a couple for yard work or something) plug one end into a socket, and toss the other in the pond. Other solutions include using your car battery to electrify the water, siphoning the gas from your car, (assuming you have extra tanks because of how long you are up there) and emptying that into the pond to potentially make it toxic to anything living inside it, or even lighting the gas on fire when it is in the pond, in order to harm the creature.
I would've shot the pond and the creature with a powerful rifle or shotgun because the thunder would mask the gunshots.

A car battery will not electrify the water, it's DC current. Trust me I'm an engineer. Also you'd need a lot of current to electrify an entire pond.

+Nick Schrader I don't know, but it shares the Lovecraftian feel. I enjoy the Lovecraftian feel of hopelessness every once in awhile in stories, but it can get stale if you find too many of them too often.
+Nick Schrader In he Horror From The Vault the creature was pretty massive and this don't sound as large. It could be more like a prequel. It started out smaller like this and spread out into the mass monster it became.

8 years late but this is exceptionally unnerving. The story balances the line between revealing a disturbing creature and maintaining fear of the unknown by having the creature appear as several contradictory disturbing images, all of which likely result from the minds inability to grasp its true nature/form. We get a disturbing glance at what's outside AND we still don't know any more than before what kind of thing it is.
The segment with the man on the radio was also excellent, perfectly looping voices are not a common horror story trope, but the few stories I've heard with them (two before this) always deeply haunt me, it's so terrifically uncanny. When the man on the radio repeated himself perfectly the first time, I literally jumped up and yelled "AW HECK NAH!"
Short story overall, but definitely one of my top 15 on this channel.

This one DEFINITELY needs a part 2. The story was really well written and it sounds like the first installment on what could be an epic multiple part series. Part 2 could be about the Paranormal Investigator in the beginning.

1) Wait till submissions are back up and running.
2) Perhaps find a narrator who takes direct submissions.
There's a website called the Creepypasta Wiki where you can upload it. The mods are relatively lenient on content, and it just has to be somewhat good (and you have to follow certain upload guidelines, like correctly categorizing your pasta and other things) for it to stay.
I made an edit to my pasta "The Ringer" in late 2015, and somehow or another, CreepsMcPasta narrated it. I got pretty lucky to have had that happen to me.
