Headlights on the 06-09 4Runners are not very good. You would have been much, much better doing a retrofit to the 03-05 headlights. If you really want the 06 headlight look, then you can retrofit those with much, much better projectors, but they are a lot harder to retrofit. The LED taillights are kind of cool, but I personally found it better to just use a phillips LED replacement in the stock taillights. @@nordicpride9708 what also doubles down on that is that Toyota makes a great diesel motor but for some strange reason we cant get it in any suv here
Did you use buy oem headlights and taillights? Or aftermarket?
Oem replacment, not genuine. Make sure to buy tail lights that are already wired so you can just plug the led board in, a buddy bought the cheapest ones and they required some wiring, just look at the pics and if it’s 3 wires that aren’t connected to anything, your going too cheap
What year is this 4Runner ?
04
Hay man, just FYI....you got the wrong grill. You got a grill for a 2006-2009 4th gen. They sell the correct TRD grill for the 03-05 that bolts right in without any mods or cutting.
He bought the 06-09 grill so that the headlights fit to the grill and didn’t leave the gap
So what year grill is that?
06-09
25:30 thank you so much for that! I was laughing so loud! Great video. I was not expecting you to run it all over too 😂
It’s not worth my time to sell it lol
Did you ever get a part number for that bottom grille bracket?
Negative, they only sell it with the grill assembly
@@steinfabgarage thanks for the reply! Bummer.
29:43 you said you prefer thin tape right as I was thinking you know they make thick tape so you don’t have to waste it? Idk why I assumed I’d know better than you this far in the vid😂😂😂
Where is the grill?
Will this work for a 2000 4Runner?

@@xanman29 will any of it work I meant?
@@210outdoors idk what you mean if you want to do a 4th genface swap on a 3rd gen it is possible
Those tail lights are for an '06-'09 but they will fit on an '05?
