We should make a film about 8dio Soundpaint and it creators. Not only are sharing their genius with the community but also they are so generous. So inspiring.
It's not often you get something worthwhile for nothing, so imagine my surprise when this popped up in my feed this morning. I am only a few days into using Soundpaint and am being continually blown away with those packs I have bought so far. They are all (especially Free Angels) so inspiring I feel that my music creation will rise to another level in future. I especially admire the ethos of the Soundpaint team, bringing us superb products at truly affordable prices (and sometimes free). I have a feeling I'm going to be offloading some of my hardware synths at this rate, certainly when Strings is released.
Thanks for the heartfelt video, truly a great community... Are there plans for Free You to come to Soundpaint as well? I absolutely can't wait to hear what amazing tracks can be created using it and the Soundpaint engine

Troels, I don’t know you but I love your vibe with all this. I haven’t downloaded Soundpaint yet because I spent a small fortune during the 8dio sales (zero regrets btw ;) & needed to step away from “new tool temptations” for a bit haha. But this sounds amazing and first break from stiff deadlines I’m going to have a play with this one. Best wishes & gratitude to everyone contributing to the platform 🙏

If you look bottom center left - you will notice something stating "CORE". Core refers to the individual core in your CPU being utilized by Soundpaint. Every instance of Soundpaint is normally assigned to individual cores in your CPU.
I love this library so so much, but it is also frustrating and limiting at times lol e.g. when I find a sound that I truly get obsessed with but can’t go as deep into it as I want to
@@Soundpaintmusic Ideally, I would like to have access to all parts of a sound instead of having just a loop when I press one key. Free Angels - Rhythmic L , C#3 is a wonderful arpeggio with a pad, but beside one note stretch I can’t change it to major or mute the pad, etc.
The samples are primarily the same, but with a whole different set of functionality and ease of use - and most importantly - free to download and try on both sites.

Is this the same as or different from the 8dio Free Angels released a couple or so years ago?
Yes and no. It is using similar sample sets, but all reimagined and benefitting from soundpaint, including all new programs.

Troels -- what kind of computer keyboard are you using in this video... it looks like all the keys are backlit, and it might for specific software?
PC. Studio One. The keyboard is specifically setup for Studio One, but doesn't make much of a difference from a normal one.
Can this software be used on a Roli Rise?
