Soundpaint has become one of my favourites!!! Could just sit and listen to each and every sound all day long! And I'm not talking just about this instrument! Cheers! 🎶🥰🎵I also like your presentations!
I was playing with keyboards and synthesizers and trackers up untill I was 18y old. I then started working really quick in the symphonic world, lots of opera, all the big symphonies, lots of scoring too and some pop and bigband gigs. Started writing a few years later, but always in sibelius. Almost a year ago I learned the world of DAW's, sample libraries, and it blew my mind. But THIS here, SoundPaint ... Man that's in a whole different league of its own ... This is combining the 16y old me with the 44y old me, and I'm enjoying every single minute inside of it !!!! Thank you Troels and the whole team, you can't imagine what it's like to be able to put all my puzzle pieces together, finally ....
Always a masterful masters' masterclass. Every demo of every library never fails to elicit... "I LOVE IT, I WANT IT, I NEED IT SO MUCH! Ohhhh, baby!" 🤣 At the rate I'm going, I'll be fully loaded with the entire Soundpaint catalog by the end of the year. 😂 I don't think anyone will blame me for being obsessed and addicted. Seriously! One hit on Soundpaint and you're hooked. You've been warned! It should be obvious to everyone now - Troels and the Soundpaint crew are the Walter White and Jesse of sound - cooking up only the highest quality, highest potency "product".
I recently discovered you and I was super impressed by the quality of your sound libraries, the attention to detail and the great versatility and ease of use of your engine. Really impressive. I bought a couple of libreires (this one included) and what can I say ... awesome! One last thing: your tutorials are great.
08:52 Thank you for also bringing me back to reality... All of this is so inspiring and emotionally rich. Probably the most beautyful and great sounding librarys I've come across. Thank you Soundpaint.
Just come back to this one again @ 17'00'' and I started to pipe like birds and then you did the same. I love your understanding of sound and sonic moods.
It is great to see, in your vids and throughout all players, me included, having tremulous fingers to hit the next key. Because you raise another world of sounds on a fingertip. It's great for me to feel the respect to sound again, lost it in the past . Of course we hit the next key.
So many sounds and ways to morph in the engine for $30. Just downloaded the free piano and Angelics last night. The flexibility of the SP engine surprised me. Gotta keep an eye open for what's coming next. By the way, I love how destructive some of the sounds can get that are in this library. Probably gonna save me a lot of time in automation. Lol
Sounds absolutely lovely .So far soundpaint is quite impressive. I bought two libraries so far , so I’m about 100 bucks invested in the platform so far, and it’s provided some wonderfully unique sounds to several que’s I had to do.Incredibly useful and very unique (I had nothing that sounds quite like it) Wish I can say that about more of purchases through the years lol .
Thank you for your hard earned support Javiel. The good news is we are never on sale. So you will never miss out on anything - just come back when you want and know we always got your back.
Hey... These new sound banks are very immersive ... they will work wonders within the meditative and atmospheric genre ... so much so i couldn't help but purchase it .. this seems to be what happens every time i watch these video's ... i end up buying because they sound so good ... definitely an improvement in sonic clarity compared to the NI sample player .. great work!!!
So I bought this because the sounds are very cool. But unless there's something I'm missing, the way these TONAL ambiences are mapped to the keyboard makes little sense. The key of the ambience is not related to the key you press on the keyboard. Furthermore, some of the ambiences are tuned to be halfway between two notes (like 50 cents past an actual A 440 note). Any answers on this? Nice sounding but essentially useless instrument if there's not.
I thought it was just me. Some of the notes on Bazantar aren’t mapped correctly either. Still waiting on an email regarding that question. When I get an answer I’ll post it here.
Figured it out with help from the tutorial/chat, just in case someone else comes a cross this and is wondering. In the parts section there is a circle looking icon on the very lower left corner. Click that and a menu pops up. One of the options is ‘One note stretch’. Hold down the key of the correlating sound and it is now mapped across the keyboard.
once again soundpaint is impressive, bravo really, Troels read that for some "mistake" the sound, cinematic life is beautiful ,the sound of the outro is not here,¿ do you know when it will be available with cinematic ambiences? Thank you
Aw thank you. We actually have a bunch of stuff in it. I (Troels) wrote some of the thematic stuff, but some of the characters are using our stuff as well.
Thanks Gavin. The typing keyboard is a specialized one for Studio One DAW. I have gone through 4 of them now. They look fancy but keep breaking. The musical keyboard is the Prophet XL, which we did in collaboration with the late and great Dave Smith / Sequential. Speaking of genius!
@@Soundpaintmusic I was wondering about the 8DIO on the keyboard. Is it a collaboration? A sticker? I’m a designer so apart from the musical magic my eye catches everything :)
Yes! The next version of Soundpaint (currently in open BETA on our Discord) has what we call USI built into it. USI stands for User Sample Import and its an editor that offers you a quick way of getting your own sounds into Soundpaint. USI is also free - just like the Soundpaint engine itself.
tomb raider legend was such an awesome game because it was the first TR game that I actually liked played, as Lara Croft was no longer acting "clunky" and the story was great; Liked the music. DIdn't you work for eastwest back then ? 11:53 this is "unreal single player story remake" material :)
Wow! Always wow! A conduit for universal music love...well tuned in...what a fabulous reality!
Thx Nicolasin!
Thanks Troels and other guys from Soundpaint for creating such a wonderful engine and sound banks.
Glad you enjoy it Timo!

Thanks Wim. It was made with the excitement of a 16th old and about 500 years of wisdom accumulated between brilliant programmers and sound designers.

This SoundPaint is killer! 👌👊
Beautiful sounds. Picking this up also. Have purchased all of them to date. Gotta catch them all 😀
Thank you Kiba - very kind!

These cinematic ambiences are my bread and butter as a mindfulness composer!

Lots of possibilities! What keyboard are you using as a controller?
im a sucker for pads and ambience my calls have been answered 😭💕
Troels what you’re doing is genius. What is the computer keyboard out of interest?

just a bunch of these honey, and I swear I'll quit buying sample libraries. I won't need any more.
