So after swapping out the Kitaco 145 big bore kit, for the Takegawa, and getting rid of that rattle noise, it’s time for Simon and James to go back down to Dynojet UK, where Frank will put the Takegawa kit through its paces, and see which one is better!

just wondering if you had any problems with the abs light flashing after changing the tyre sizes and gearing on the monkey bike, the one we have done is a 5 speed bike 2022 model year ? and the abs light is now flashing, or do you recommend any particular road tyres and and sizes ?

Thanks so much for that lovely comment! It’s great when we know people enjoy the effort we put in… we haven’t used a bigger injector because the standard one can still deliver more fuel than we are using at the moment! Maybe with the 4v kit next!

just had a standard crank big end fail on my 2015 grom with takegawa 143 kit on it. owned from new the bike has been abused in terms of redline everywhere. if it wasn't for the crank failure the piston and bore etc were looking good. it's an excellent kit but as i'm rebuilding i purchased a kitaco 163cc kit + the kitaco crank.. see how it goes after a good tune

Normally use a tad of noise cancellation, but as we made an epic fail and didn’t mic Simon, we had to leave it off this time. Will try the lapel mics next vid👍🏻

Yes, we have the Takegawa 4v kit ready to be installed on both the yellow and blue monkeys
