Hi guys can you somehow contact me ? I need a file service for my honda pcx 125?? Can you do it?
Send Frank an email at technical@dynojet.co.uk
Been struggling to find a bracket for a 4p calliper to fit a abs grom. Will this bracket work with standard size disc? Will this bracket fit a abs grom aswell? Not sure if there the same?
Yes… this will work with the standard 220mm discs. The contact area on the pad is only about 70%… so you need to keep an eye on wear. A vid on this coming soon
@@SmallboreAndMore ment to ask if the bracket would fit a grom?
@@stevied6965 yeah, the Grom and Monkey ABS fork bottoms are the same👌🏻 (I have a make with one on a Grom)

非常感謝您的分享,我剛完成kitaco145,聲音吵雜很擔心。看完你的影片我很安心。
I know the noise isn’t great, but performance and the internals are good! Goes great 👌🏻
What did you torque the header to? Thanks
I don’t think there is a torque for the header… just not daft and check again after a few heat cycles
Thanks. Do you know what the torque specs are?
that sounds a world apart ,cool video
Thanks for that!
With those 145cc kits, did you install a upgrade oil pump?
Yes… check out our other vids, oil pump upgrade on that👍🏻
Great video. Perfect timing as I’m starting the journey of doing a BBK upgrade to my 2022 Monkey and was just deciding between the Kitaco and Takegawa. I’ll be watching for the dyno results and the 4V install as well (though the price of that kit rules it out for me). The Takegawa kit comes with the N10 cam, but their graphs show better performance with the N20. Any chance you could install the N20 and compare dyno results?
Our dyno time in the tight thing… and we’ve planned the standard 145 kit followed by the 4 valve. I’ll speak with DynoJet see if they think it could be worth the extra time. What do you believe the power difference could be?
@@SmallboreAndMore their graph shows about the same hp at around 8500 RPM, but the N10 drops off after that, while the N20 gains power right through to 9500RPM. This is all tuned through Takegawa's FI-Con Type-X FI controller though. The PV3 may get different results.
Been waiting on this and can't wait to see the 4V! I fitted the Kitaco kit before the Takegawa one was available; mine didn't make any noises like yours to be fair. Looking for more power I've since fitted a Yuminashi high comp 54mm piston into my Kitaco bore and it's going great - it's semi domed up so maybe even more compression...
Interesting video, question is when you lads gonna have some merchandise for sale ? 👍

@@SmallboreAndMore Hi, i'm going to buy a pv3 for my st125 and was wandering if i can get your tunes seperately from the pv3. I live in the EU and the import taxes makes buying this from the uk very expensive.
The truth is if you change the exhaust you need to use earplugs. All above 80db will damage your hearing in the long run.
100%! You need to look after your hearing. Even just wind noise in some helmets is enough to damage hearing. Great comment! Helps people learn🎉 thanks
Hi guys Love the channel! Currently running ZR1000A2, contemplating switching to new Monkey. Can't stand noisy exhausts so an after market pipe is out of the question Thinking bog stock plus a 145 kit. Went on Dyno jet site but got a bit confused, it's a power vision 3 I'd need to re-map ECU, or take it to dynojet? Kind regards Simon K
Hi Simon, thanks for the comments! More content coming soon… Regarding the 145 on a standard exhaust… you’d be better going to DynoJet as we don’t have a 145 performance map without an exhaust, as most modifiers do the exhaust as the very first step. I understand though, they are loud and can be quite antisocial. Anyway, either way, you’ll need a Power Vision 3, give Frank a message on technical@dynojet.co.uk
@@SmallboreAndMore Frank is on the case. Monkey being delivered tomorrow 😁
Monkey insured from today, being delivered this afternoon How do you guys get around the problem of a modified bike with your insurance company, tried explaining about the extras on mine they didn't have a clue! In my book changing things like rear shocks, mirror extenders etc are safety related which makes the bike better to ride & safer?! Keep up the good work, cracking channel.

@@SmallboreAndMore that's who I'm with! I'll ride it stock for now have some fun, then plan mods. Cheer's
Just had a fault with mine, luckily they already were on the bike when i brought it. Was working fine for a while, then suddenly (on a hot day too), I didnt turn them on or anything, I just noticed the right grip was getting hotter and hotter over time, I came back out of a shop and it was hot to touch like HOT couldnt hold them for longer then 2 seconds, even when the bike is completly off they wouldnt stop heating up. The light wasnt even on and I couldnt even turn them off or even "on". They are meant to detect your hands too so it stops heating up when you take your hands off. Luckily I didn't spend money on them tho 🤣
Brilliant set of videos, very well explained thanks
Awesome
ha nice vid. Hope you’re well James 👍🏻
All good mate💪🏻
I've owned Aprilia RSVR's, Tuono's, Ducati's, all used the Brembo clam for the rear caliper. When they're underslung, it's virtually impossible to bleed them without taking them off the mount and rotating the caliper so that the bleed nipple is above the pistons...(at the highest point) otherwise a bubble of air gets trapped. You did really well if you managed to bleed without doing this!
Nice! you guys deserve it! looking forward to seeing more!
Thanks so much… new contact just around the corner
how hot do they get ? hot enough to have to turn them down in colder temps.
No… not that hot. In fact, now I’ve had them a while, I’d say the original Oxford ones with the external controller are hotter!
May i ask, After boreup 145 and Dna 3 Stage. You dont add oil cooler ? Is it need to upgrade oil cooler or no ? Thank you
Hi, thanks for the comment…it’s recommended to fit an upgraded oil pump… oil cooler is a nice touch have if you are in a hot country, not really needed in UK
@@SmallboreAndMore thanks for the reply. the DNA 3 stage have a big improvement or no sir ? Because I thinking to buy but feel hard to open the cover filter 😅
@@nicowu314check out our first video on the Dyno run… on that you can see exactly what each modification makes to the power difference 💪🏻

This has to be one of best build videos i have seen on youtube. Great channel, cant believe i have only just found it now!
Thank you so much🎉🎉
Hi Sir, may I politely ask for sone questions? If I would upload the second map, optimized on that monkey, on another one (same model year), would it pull out the same performance or it’s necessary to have a dyno launch, because of the whole bike system repeatability? With the new air-fuel ratio/ ignition advance fine tuning, does the gas mileage get better or worse? Does it pass euro 5 periodical DMV check? Is it possible to keep it at max speed for tens of kilometers and I think they keep it rich for that reason: will it be safe with the new map? Having the bike under warranty, does the shop immediately find out the map isn’t stock so it automatically drops or should they investigate each window of the table? Thank you in advance.
Hi, thanks for the comments! So, yes, as long as it has similar modifications it will be fine… of course these engines are not as highly strung as an inline 4, so having a bespoke map isn’t as critical. Yes of course a bespoke map would be better… but you might get 0.2bhp more…and that’s not something you’ll ever notice. Gas mileage definitely gets worse, but that’s because you have more performance and are using more fuel…. It’s still good on fuel though. I’m not familiar with a DMV check, although again, these engines are so small, I’m sure it will fly through any emissions check. I’ve ran this engine flat out on the road, mile after mile and it’s been perfect. You want to avoid it being lean, and that’s one element of the remap As far as warranty, they wouldn’t “immediately know” however a great thing about the PowerVision 3 is you can swap it back to the standard map before taking it to the garage! (Officially, yes, it would more than likely void any engine warranty claims if they were aware.) Just go for it…. You won’t regret it! 😎
Thanks for putting this video together. I was looking for this specific upgrade since I often ride with my wife on the back and I need that added braking power. Have you upgraded to steel braided lines or the Brembo master cylinder yet? What percentage would you say over the stock calipers has been the increase in stopping power? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance! Keep the vids coming!
We are in the middle of making another vid with a slightly bigger disc… I think it will make a load of difference to the contact patch of the pads. The braided hose vid should be next weekend. Thanks for the comments👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@SmallboreAndMore What percentage would you say the Brembos are over the stock calipers in stopping power? 15% better or more?
Clean and neat! I love your works.
Thanks so much🎉

Love the gold forks. You said it’s a cartridge kit, but were the outers a standard gold colour, or repainted with added stickers? Also love the wheels, standard and repainted?
Good spot with the forks! Yes, they are standard gold outers. Bought from Honda, they are standard for on a Grom. Then when the forks were in bits, they were swapped out. Wheels…. Standard, painted by dream machine in Nottingham. Thanks for the comment💪🏻
I wish this is accurate. Thanks for the complete test!

Do you know if it’s possible to order at Europe from webike without import taxes ?
No, there are import taxes into EU too. In our experience, it’s 60/40 (40% of the time they come through without charges)
Very helpful video thanks. Just wondering where you got your rear mud guard wrapped in the carbon fibre effect vinyl? I want to get my front and rear mud guards wrapped in Matt carbon fibre effect vinyl as I prefer that look vs chrome. Cheers
Hi, Thanks for the comment💪🏻 We just wrapped it with some vinyl wrap off eBay… Worked well for 12months and then we upgraded to a proper carbon one.

Very interesting. I wonder what the implications are of switching the cam chain tensioner to metal. It could be that for sure the tensioner wheel lasts longer, but now the cam chain itself needs replacing more often. Not sure if its a worthwhile tradeoff...
I guess only time will tell… 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Can that alloy side panel still be fitted on the high aftermarket pipes like the scrambler to hide all the frame n wiring?
That's a good shout, although it uses the original exhaust holes. So I'd guess if the scrambler exhaust uses the stock holes, then no. But it's worth looking at!! Thanks for the comment, btw 😊
This is the JB02 version, which has a bigger outlet than the JB03 version. Looks better and probably sounds also better. Downside of the JB02 version is that they can break on the weld on the part that goes into the head (ask me how I know, and I have seen more than mine) they fixed this on the JB03 version with an extra mounting point under the engine.
Good info! And yes, sounds well💪🏻
Well keep an eye out for that! Thanks
