Nice. Loving all the mods. Like how you keep it simple and show steps for those of us less mechanically minded! Can you do a dax st125 next please? No ones done any decent mod vids in english
I've owned Aprilia RSVR's, Tuono's, Ducati's, all used the Brembo clam for the rear caliper. When they're underslung, it's virtually impossible to bleed them without taking them off the mount and rotating the caliper so that the bleed nipple is above the pistons...(at the highest point) otherwise a bubble of air gets trapped. You did really well if you managed to bleed without doing this!
Putting brakes this massive on such a small bike is ridiculous! And I Love it 😂! Well done again lad, really nice to see you take it on a ride out. Was worried it’d never see a puddle 😉
Thanks for taking the time to document your efforts guys. It's all been very informative 👍I assume you chose to modify the front caliper rather than the bracket, since you'd need a mill to do that. I didn't notice one in your garage 😂
Yeah… the bracket is really thin, and if you were to take the material out of the bracket it would probably weaken it, where as there’s loads of meat in the caliper side👌🏻
Thanks for putting this video together. I was looking for this specific upgrade since I often ride with my wife on the back and I need that added braking power. Have you upgraded to steel braided lines or the Brembo master cylinder yet? What percentage would you say over the stock calipers has been the increase in stopping power? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance! Keep the vids coming!
We are in the middle of making another vid with a slightly bigger disc… I think it will make a load of difference to the contact patch of the pads. The braided hose vid should be next weekend. Thanks for the comments👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Just an observation, it looks to me like the way you have the hose angled onto the rear calliper quite low if it gets knocked up it could turn and loosen the banjo bolt.
Been struggling to find a bracket for a 4p calliper to fit a abs grom. Will this bracket work with standard size disc? Will this bracket fit a abs grom aswell? Not sure if there the same?
Yes… this will work with the standard 220mm discs. The contact area on the pad is only about 70%… so you need to keep an eye on wear. A vid on this coming soon

I’d love to get my hands on a Dax… fingers crossed💪🏻

@@SmallboreAndMore What percentage would you say the Brembos are over the stock calipers in stopping power? 15% better or more?

Nice video man! Watching your videos you made me a mechanic 😂 which tires does the monkey wear??
Thanks very much! The monkey has Michelin Power Pure tyres… 120 front and 140 rear💪🏻
베리굿~

@@SmallboreAndMore ment to ask if the bracket would fit a grom?
@@stevied6965 yeah, the Grom and Monkey ABS fork bottoms are the same👌🏻 (I have a make with one on a Grom)
@@SmallboreAndMore👍🏻👌🏼
Ordered 👍🏻😁
Why all that there's no reason extra power? Are you kidding
Yes… exactly. I am kidding 🤣🤣 there’s no need, but why not, they look class.😎
