@@DrLoriV That sounds like fun! I wanted to ask how to tell an original watercolor from a giclée? I have read about running your hands over the piece, using the loupe. What would you do?
It's interesting to see the price of English transferware in the US , because you can pretty much walk into your local charity shop in the UK and pick up a second-hand good quality dinner service or tea set ( like Wedgwood or Spode) for not very much. We have so much of it!
You really are a beautiful person and bring so much positivity to my life. Ive learned so much(made some money as well) from the knowledge you've shared. Also had some great laughs and lots of head nods in agreement. My lifes a bit of a mess right now, but im trying my hardest to eliminate the things and people who hurt me. First treat I give myself is some 1 on 1 appraisal time with you. Much love from Cleveland, OH- Bill
I am so happy to hear that I "bring so much positivity to your life." What can be better to hear than that. You made my day. Don't let the people who hurt you stick around. You deserve better. I am glad to have helped via my videos. I'm here if you need me. Everyone has times when their lives are upside down, but you'll get on the road you want soon, I'm sure. Love back to you.
Furniture can be very lucrative for resellers. I talk about it in my How to Sell classes starting September. Furniture is often overlooked but the resale market for good pieces is very good for sellers.
LOL... I know Brandon I am not a math wiz. Thanks for your support --always for your continued support. I hope you are well and I am sending you good vibes.
Dr Lori I’m in a pickle. All this time I thought I had the amberina orange swung vases and various pieces made by Fenton. It occurred to me when I was checking prices on eBay that my pieces may be Viking. I love the orange with the cadmium glow. Would you please share how to tell the difference. After years of thinking I know…I’m doubting myself.
I can tell you what you've got! Send me photos or show the pieces to me during a video call. I can then answer your specific questions relating to your specific pieces. Check out my website for the options that I offer to help.
I really like what you had to say regarding Wedgewood. And holy cannoli, that stacking😩 That is ‘Wedgewood Jenga “!!! I tend to be drawn to that classic Jasperware,it just feels so good to hold, you know? One of my holy grails is old Staffordshire slipware. I find pieces of it in the Thames mud, dating back to the 1700’s,but a whole piece,I wonder what a slipware piece would cost? Any ideas?
Hay Lori another great video. I do have question about the Disney shirt, how do you go about dating it? If it is or isn't from 1971 what do you look for? thanks again
Thanks for watching! Good question to ask during my next Ask Dr. Lori LIVE video so I can answer in detail and teach everyone watching. Check my website for the next date.
Dr. Lori is pricing not just Wedgewood, she is pricing the pattern/style, age, etc... Dr. Lori's videos are professionally designed, interesting and informative. Thank you once again Dr. Lori.
Need help reselling? Have you watched my videos that focus on reselling? I offer classes on reselling too. A list of upcoming class dates can be found on my website under 'Events'. Again, my values are based on what people really pay. Actual sales. Happy to help!
The problem with these naysayers is that they don’t want to hold onto long haul items cuz they don’t flip quickly. These platters are valuable and gorgeous for the right buyer. I have long haul items because I know the right buyer will come around. Too many resellers just do not know anything when it comes to pricing and value cuz they depend on one major platform! How can anyone doubt the appraisals by a world renowned professional like Dr. Lori over anyone else without an expert knowledge? Stupid is as stupid does.
oh, use them !!! Use them for your morning cereal or oatmeal. Use them for a pb and j sandwich. Why do we wait to entertain before we use the "good stuff". Made "good" happen for yourself.
I’ve been to this thrift store. I really enjoyed learning the chair anatomy! Who knew chairs had knees? God bless you Dr. Lori.
Holy Moly, the Wedgwood! Thank you Dr. Lori!! Love you to pieces, and love to thrift with you!!
You can. People have thrift with me parties with friends and book them with me on video calls.

The Wedgewood dishes are lovely

Of course you do. England made transferware all the rage. Staffordshire is where it all began
Good information. I have a couple of Windsor backs and that’s good to know about them being painted. Thanks as always Dr. Lori! ❤
My husband and I absolutely love your channel and all your content that you share with us!!
Thank you and hubby for watching. I am glad you are enjoying it together too.
I LOVE listening to you! I enjoy learning as much as I love antiques, and watching this video opener of a literal steal on the dinnerware...awesome!
You are so welcome!
Welcome to Florida, Dr. Lori! ❤️
Thank you.

Wonderful information about the chairs! I’ve been eyeballing furniture lately!

Thank you for another great, informative video!
Look at you getting better with numbers and math 😂 good job Dr. Lori! 👏 Enjoy the rest of your weekend ❤️

❤ that Wedgewood
This was an amazing place to shop.
Thank you for all you do ... I live 5 minutes away from Williamsburg, VA.
You are so welcome
I would love that set. How can you tell if the glaze is ok to eat off of?😊

Great. I love Wedgwood and all the old English brands. I am a sucker for a good piece of Copeland Spode but it has to be old.
Beautiful set. Thanks Dr. Lori. Love you 😘 in North Dakota ❤.
Thank you for the awesome tour and info. My issue is packing and shipping a set of dishes. This is what keeps me from buying them to resell? Thank you
I agree and makes me nervous when the dishes are high quality. 😅
You can do it! I talk about shipping in my How to Sell class, part 4. Would you like me to do a video on shipping china?
Hola soy de México y me gusta sus videos es usted una persona muy profesional .,
👋☺️🇺🇸
Gracias. Me alegra que reconozcas mi profesionalismo y sobre todo que te gusten mis videos. Me alegro que estés aquí mirándolos.
Sweet, happy, precious child.

Wedgewood platters don't sell for anywhere near $200. It is sad how fine china is no longer valued.
My values are based on what people really pay. Actual sales. Believe what you want.

Lmao!
I can assure you I sold a Wedgwood platter landscape for $225.
You don’t know what you’re talking about 😂
Trolling maybe?
I think it depends on the area here in Michigan you can’t give it away at estate sales.

Wedgewood china unused. Kept for good but good enough never happened. Sad.
