Replacing Death Trap Seat Belts in a Ford Pinto Cruising Wagon

To put holes in the carpet, use an old (or cheap) soldering iron and melt the hole in. You won't risk unraveling the weave plus it will "seal" the hole.

The seat belts will lighten in the sun and some hand oils get into them. It’s no big problem.
