50s and 60s Fords are some of the most beautiful years.

Good old Dodge Omni. My cousin's daughter had one. Replace the motor twice and transmission three times. I am retired mechanic

TexasHillbilly: easiest way to get proper toe-in on your Omni is measure track from center of tires ( side to side); 1/4 inch less width in overall track at front will provide good balance in steering returning to center and steering straight on all but obscene road crowns. Seamstress tape or tape measure is all that's required to complete toe-in task. For camber, loosen both knuckle strut bolts slightly; use stout prybar. Place mini level at top center of tire, bubble should barely-very slightly nudge outward( aka negative camber)of car. Camber is primarily to lessen bump steer, improve ride and handling. Both tasks are done with full weight of vehicle on ground or both front tires evenly balanced atop ramps or blocks of wood.

@@TexasHillbilly Just a smidge of top of tire tilted inward is factory tolerances. Get a pull with toe-in and camber with in tolerances, likely culprit is a tire-cord or tire-casing pull.

Classic 90s, chrysler. Easy to work on, cheap parts, and pealing paint.

That side to side play could also be worn inner and outer tie rods.

Nice 4 door Omni! My dad had a 1982 Omni 024 ( 2 door hatchback) and that thing lasted a lond time. Did pretty well in winter also. They had some pep for a small car.
If you have a check engine light on you might be able to cycle the key on off on off on then the light usually flashes a series of times. Like my 95 caravan did a series of 2 flashes and 1 flash for an O2 sensor. Not sure if that holds true for the omni but figured I would suggest it.

Ha! I bought 4 of those once for 400$. Kept the fuel injection one, sold 2 for a profit after fixing and use one for cold storage for a winter (we lived in Alaska at the time) I vaguely them all having different engines… like, Chrysler, VW, Peugeot maybe, and I dunno what else.

Snug a lug nut on & it would eliminate the rotor chatter so you can hear better
