To be fair, Robert Plant was not responsible for packing that “stadium” which isn’t a stadium. It was a festival and he was not the headliner. Misleading header. BUT, he and Allison are certainly packing theaters. And that’s great. Saw him in 2022 with Krauss in a park concert. Lovely evening.
Technically it’s an Amphitheater but that’s a hella long word. Unfortunately UA-cam limits the amount of characters I can use in the title so I ran out of space and had to use a smaller word in its place. Most people will get the drift. And he IS still selling out Stadiums , even though this is, as I said, an amphitheater.

As a single act (not part of a larger festival), what stadiums has Robert Plant, as a solo act, filled? One example would do. With Page in the 90’s, they filled arenas. In the 80’s, Robert could fill arenas. With Strange Sensations, it was theaters. Ditto Band of Joy. Ditto Sensational Shape Shifters. Ditto Amazing Grace his current folk band. and with Allison Krauss, it’s been theaters, amphitheater’s, and festivals with other performers. Why Inflate it? Filling theaters still makes him a successful solo artist. Most artists never even attain that goal. There have actually been very few bands in music history that can fill stadiums. Zeppelin was one. Beatles. Stones. Pink Floyd, Queen, Foo Fighters, INXS, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé perhaps a dozen others. Plant solo was and is not. As I said, one example would suffice.
