The safest place to be and get the best sound is stand around front of house which is where the guys are mixing the sound in the middle of the crowd. Can't miss it
Dude our shows are crazy in a good way! We really do move as one! we’re family when we’re all together. And shows are very different then twenty years ago all kinds of races and we all rock as one!!!! Slipknot lovers are great people!
Slipknot concerts are actually very safe, Corey expects the maggots to take care of each other, I got knocked out of my wheelchair when I was in the pit and a bunch of people helped me back up, and I was right back in it. He explicitly condemns any kind of bigotry too, all races are there. I was actually moshing with a few people in a pit I made and a few black guys were in it.
Thank you I was about to say the same thing, I love the pits because we are aggressive but not intentional but if someone does cross the line that’s when you see random dog piles, and many girlfriends and moms take their children with headphones to block noise for years now, but they won’t that in a video lol it’s there though. Good times
This is true. I have been in the pit seeing so many others like my self helping those who fall or get hurt. You pull them out you create a hole for the people everyone looks out for each other.
"I don't see one brother." Dude, we're ALL brothers in metal. These days especially. The crowds today are way more diverse because metal has something for EVERYBODY.
Slipknot has a great fanbase of good, loving people that love metal. I saw a young kid (10 yrs. Oldish) get slammed down at the edge of the mosh on accident. When he got helped up, they offered the kid to crowd surf. The kid politely declined and continued head banging like crazy.
I saw them back in 99. the crowd was killer! I also heard the show I was at was the show they filmed. Idk of that is fact or not, still was a great show.
The very first time I heard this song from Slipknot was at a System of a Down, Fear Factory, Spineshank, and Hed (PE) concert in a club on University of Tennessee campus. A person who gave me that cassette worked for Roadrunner records. Roadrunner records had all the greatest bands in the 90's and 2000's.
@@JasonRyanWilson 800!?!! Awesome, more personal. I've seen all of those bands (except SOD) before but not together. Seen Slipknot 8ish times. So good every time. Saw them at The House of Blues in Vegas once, that was the most intimate setting, the rest have all been in AZ with thousands.
Does anyone else ever wish you could see something for the first time again? I love watching LFR's first reactions! It's almost like hearing for the first time again. Thank you LFR!
As a metal head for over 20 years. I’ve been in every state of mind at a show. A little buzzed from having a beer or two is the best. Gets you in the mood to pit.
Love when she says she wants to go to a slipknot concert! Girl it took me almost the first 10 years they were out to do it but I went in 08 and Wish I could go again and again and again. The Dj Sid was performing on two broken ankles from when he jumped off a stack of amplifiers two nights before at another show and they ran a contest all day as to a fan winning being able to push him out on stage in his wheelchair for the performance.. dedication!
I remember seeing them play on the second stage at ozzfest in the late 90s and was like who the hell is this and where can I get their CD. From that moment I was hooked.
Bruh you know me. I've seen slipknot twice. First time with shadows fall and lamb of God. When corey does the jump da fuck up its insane and I promise you'd dig it
You watched the tamer vocals version. You should have taken a listen to the studio version. I like this version as much as anybody, but you can really hear the growling and the screaming in the studio version. You can't really properly hear that in this version. It sounds more brutal and visceral
Loved this one bro! Also I have been to a Slipknot concert, I wasnt in the mosh but I was pretty close to the stage and I felt totally safe it was DOPE
I first saw them at ozzfest too! I was about 16 at the time. Im 34 now and still love slipknot. Best show ever! I saw them last summer too, rt before the pandemic and took my 13 yr old son and fiance
You should check out a Slipknot concert, Van. Their stage show is incredible. And don't let the stories scare you. Just get reserved seating and stay away from the pit. You'll be perfectly safe. But you have to get a tshirt. It's a rule, or at least it should be
I’ve always hear slipknot puts on the best concerts. But yes there will be a spot where you can stand and not be like in or near the pit. Just don’t go near the middle and stay on the outside you’ll be good. Don’t go in the middle of the crowd unless your prepared to possibly get hit in the face cause people will probably be dancing
Hey bud..I saw Slipknot and Hatebreed A few years ago in Grand Rapids Michigan... There were several brothers there that love the music... It was awesome to see...
Also, the best part about being a Maggot (Slipknot fan) is that you can be WHOEVER you are....we accept EVERYONE. Race, sexuality, political affiliation.....doesn't matter, you'll be welcomed with open arms
The album version is SO much better. This version is incredibly tamed. Their music videos in the earlier days were all super tamed and it takes away from the intensity. Their last few albums have had singles with proper vocals and it's much better now. But back in the day they had to pander to the mainstream and the singles were tamed.
Bro, you have talent for television!! Very professional and natural in front on the camera🔥and you should definitely check them out before they retire, their shows are AMAZING 🔥AND TRUST ME, QUITE A FEW BROTHERS AT THE SHOW, U WOULD BE SURPRISED 👍
Jay weinberg, their newer drummer is the son of Bruce springsteen drummer. In this video and for nearly their first 15 years Joey Jordison was the drummer and is a total legend! He had the rotating drum kit. He even went so far as to have blood drawn and mixed into a batch of his signature drumsticks
The juxtaposition of you jamming on this while wearing a "Cheer Dad" T-shirt ... I watch a lot of reaction videos, but this one is right up at the top of the list!
This video was took place at a local radio station show. 103.3 mancow lazerluau Ankeny iowa 1999. The drunk and high was partially true. I went to a slipknot show back in 2008 and it was amazing nothings gonna happen to you.
You wouldn't be the only one. My friend, I pulled up next to her at a light, she was jamming and head banging. I never heard her talk about liking metal. Then, this gym I went to the dude always had a Pantera shirt on.
They are a lot of brothers also go to this kind of concerts... Hélas in America brothers just are conditioned to hip hop..but in South America and in Europe is not the same.and after the concerts they go back home so alive as they have gone.
Putting in a request for (because you like them drums!) the band Fear Factory, please?? I've been binge watching your channel. Much love to all of the family!
Slipknot is an independent band no producer no record label And right along with Tech N9ne they are one of the first musicians out there to make independent popular
you said one thing. so I have to follow your channel BRO! I m the KraKenPBT, i m mixed raced from Switzerland and zimbabwe. so please continue... don t be afraid of oder

Corey can spit bars too, he got shit with Tech9.
Hi there! I love watching your reacts. I would love to see you react to Leadbelly. He has influenced so many people and songs.
By the way I think the word you were looking for jumpsuits

"I don't see one brother!"
I see a crowd full of them, no matter what colour they are.
This... this hits hard. Thumbs up my man
Exactly what I’m saying and thinking. One color, one race. We are all maggots!
🙏absolutely🤘
Just a crowd of maggots enjoying themselves
There are a few at every show I never gave it much thought I figured there there for the same reason I am music and mayham

Right! I have it on my workout playlist. Makes me run faster LOL
This clean vocals version for the video are shiz. The original waitcand bleed is so different and brutal
@@jessemace7589 believe me I have heard both

Absolutely, break the cycle of division the media pushes on society. Everyone is human and everyone matters.
I wish there were more like minded people
its just a term for black people but yeah were all brothers regardless
And fact that Corey is stand for BLM and stop will whenever see fan getting ridiculous hurt, big respect for slipknot man 🖤
Well said ❤🤘

They're just built different!
Fun fact: They indeed did used to throw up inside their masks!
From sniffing a bottle of dead crows
@@crayzeewhorse Sometimes.
Fun fact they kept that bird and used it to throw up before shows and the bird was liquid when they got rid of it
Oh god
@@sportybeatle why would they throw up before shows ?
The crazy part is that they had this big of a crowd just off their first album.... Talk about a rise to fame lol. Glad you liked it

their whole first album is by far the most fire
Slipknot are awesome they've been my favorite band since 99

Yoo that show sounds dope, every band u listed i grew up on, especially Hed P.E.
Spineshank "Strictly Diesel" 1998 album was insane! Love it!

Van, I need to put you on to the rest of slipknot that’s been my favorite band since I was kid.
They are from my state of Iowa
Hands down the BEST concert I have ever been to! If anyone has the opportunity to go to one, you will not be let down.
I LOVE your Slipknot reactions!! I would love for you to do even more!
My favorite video to watch of people reacting to Slipknot is Spit it out live at download 2009.
Among the maggots you would be respected and protected. I’m sure of that.

You're the man for giving this play
You watched the tamer vocals version. You should have taken a listen to the studio version. I like this version as much as anybody, but you can really hear the growling and the screaming in the studio version. You can't really properly hear that in this version. It sounds more brutal and visceral
Yea the Terry Date remix is nice but it's not the original. They made it less brutal for the commercial audience
I love that you focused on the drums. R.I.P Joey

This is the 1st song I have ever heard from them. Been listening to them ever since and thats been quite a few years ago.
You asked where they get the energy to do this. It comes from the crowd. It's an adrenaline rush like no other.
