We don't have much here in Iowa. We have a baseball field in the middle of a cornfield, we have a life sized cow made of butter, and we have The 9! The Pride of the 5-1-5! 2 more weeks until Knotfest! I am pumped for the entire lineup!
@@WaterKingCrocodoan I imagine it was the same for KISS and the makeup. Probably uncomfortable as hell, but the fame and fortune make it tolerable. Lol
You gotta check out thier performance of "Spit it Out" Live Download 09. Corey is a master at controlling the crowd, and can spit some super fast bars. Although you may want to pull up the lyrics while watching the live concert video to understand what he is saying. "People=Shlt" Live is also another great example
@@clairegibson9830 This 09 performance from slipknot was the best I've seen from them but 2013 When it was Maiden, Slipknot and Rammstein Headlining was my all time favourite live experience \m/
I wasn't a Slipknot fan until I saw them live a few years back at the Carolina Rebellion & they're live shows are insane & awesome!!! Now I am a huge fan & can't get enough of their music!! Absolutely love Corey Taylor!! Super talented!!! & I highly recommended to see Slipknot live if you can!! 🤘
Just for some reference they have. (Just to keep it simple) 3 drummers 2 guitarist 1 bassist 1 DJ 1 Keyboardist And a Singer So yeah that’s what gives The Knot there sound 🤘🏻🔥
Corey Taylor has a son that isn’t afraid of his masks because he knows his daddy is underneath pretty wholesome video. Slipknot really does tear it up live. I’m glad you guys post these videos you’d be surprised how many people hate on Metal and don’t even really know the dedication and countless effort it takes to master your craft. Thank you🤘
I saw them at the House of Blues in Las Vegas like 20 years ago. It was a pretty damned good mosh pit. Now listen to the acoustic version of "Snuff" by Corey Taylor for a completely different side of the singer.
damn, I live in Vegas and im at the house of blues a lot for shows, Slipknot there would be insane. Could never happen now, theyre too big. Especially with the crazy opening bands they book for their tours, theyll probably like always play arena size now.
@@alany2669 Yeah it was a really great venue.. Saw Rammstein, Crystal Method, Soulfly, Disturbed, Offspring, Orbital, Stabbing Westward there too. Probably others, but memory fails. Tool at Thomas and Mack in 98. Good times.
This just kinda struck me as to why reaction channels are getting so popular. I remember just randomly buying this CD in 1999 cuz the cover kind of reminded me of one of my favorite bands, GWAR. Listening to it in my car, this was the first track that just blew me away and I just had to get all my friends in on it. Playing this CD and seeing their reactions was some of the best times from back in the day, which back then you could only get once per friend. Now I get to relive those memories with all the reaction channels, pretty fucking dope! lol
I love that even though this isn't your regular listened to music that you guys put in such great reactions. The live versions are a little harder to understand but the energy is crazy. Keep up the great work love all your reactions!
I'm going to see them for the first time ever, October 3rd. I'm so excited, I couldn't even begin to explain it. I've loved them for years but never had the chance to see them. It's finally time!!
Check out the official video! Alot better. You can hear everything and understand the words alot better. Love this song. Love what you do. Great reactions!
Both times I saw them in concert there were regular drums and custom percussions (bongos, Congas, trashcans, gong, and other random stuff lol). Hilarious.
Them being from Des Moines, Iowa, I used to joke that they were just all the good musicians in the area and since there werent enough of them to make two bands they just formed one.
I was there!!Donnington uk! Was the last show they played with Paul Grey (rip), Check out spit it out from download 2009 prolly one of the best shows ever 80,000 of us were there
Guys. They’re on tour. Probably will be in a city near you. Check out show locations at Knotfest roadshow. I’ll be seeing them in Pittsburg oct 15. And thanks for the great reaction.
Corey taylor the singer of slipknot is actually a really good singer, watch snuff by him on acoustic, one of my favourite songs of all time, slipknot are an amazing band, try out unsainted, spit it out and left behind
Try “Gently” off the album Iowa via live from Slipknot Disasterpieces. Just watch the metal build and destroy. I use it in car stereo shows constantly and people’s jaws drop.

Not to be negative but I’d probably suggest watching/listening to the studio version of a lot of these metal songs first before watching the live version. The Official music video of this would’ve been a perfect starting point. Just my opinion. Enjoying your reactions 😀
Always good seeing old live footage with Paul and Joey.
R.I.P.
R.I.P. 1 and 2 I've seen all versions of this group and Paul and Joey are definitely missed
Joey and Paul are the true reason why slipknot was so hardcore now slipknot is nothing without both of them

Wearing a mask for a couple hours to trick or treat with my kids is hard enough, I can't imagine doing a whole show of that, like that.
the mask arnt for halloween its who they are
@@Nixxie- I know. I meant I don't know how they could stand it all the time.

You won't be disappointed!
You’ve got your main drummer then you have two percussion drummers with beer kegs for the metal sound hope that helps you out 👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I was just about to say those aren't drums they are legitimate kegs also R.I.P. Joey
The percussionists have a mix of kettle drums, empty kegs, and other types of drums.

Joey jordison who is the main drummer in the back while Chris Fehn and Clown are the 2 percussionists in the sides playing the kegs.
