- Blade Runner is a 1997 Westwood Studios developed a point-and-click 3D real-time adventure game. Loosely following the events of the 1982 film with a parallel timeline, Blade Runner tells the story of Ray McCoy, a rookie to the replicant division of the LAPD who is on a case to track down some especially dangerous replicants while later fighting to prove his own innocence and even his identity.
In episode 1 we respond to call which sends us to a crime scene at an animal shop before heading back to and getting acquainted with our headquarters and a couple coworkers. In following a lead, we find one of the perps from our crime and have to gun him down/"retire" him.

Rather have Vangelis playing than the Police Quest tension music when I go to the toilet.
Ha yeah as much as I love Mark Seibert, you can't compare those tunes to this soundtrack.

I need more, immediately! I had no idea this existed and certainly didn't expect it to be as good as it is. Having the soundtrack from the movie is a terrific bonus.
Yeah having the film's soundtrack pretty much immediately makes this game's soundtrack better than 90% of other games.
I didn't know about this game, but from what I've seen so far, this is how movie-related video games should be made. It captures the mood and let's you live in the world, but it has its own story.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Any developers set to adapt a movie to a video game no matter how faithfully with regards to the plot should take note.

I actually have this game in my GOG library for few years. Never played it.
Nice, yeah I recommend giving it a try sometime even if you watch this since there are multiple endings, things to see, etc.
He killed those animals, so I say be ruthless and show no mercy.
