❤Hello Beautiful Humans! Here's a throwback reaction and one of my favorite Home Free Songs (WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN) - ua-cam.com/video/UaAVqxPzKQs/v-deo.html
Austin is a lyric tenor with a high range, while Rob is revealed as a dramatic tenor with rich, powerful tonality. They harmonize beautifully. It must have taken a lot of courage for them to put this out there and I hope they do this again. A lot of people have never heard the best of opera, and this is one of the most beautiful and difficult tenor arias. Everyone can use more beauty in their lives.
The contrast of their voices is what works so well with a duet that's not supposed to be one. Rob's dark tenor tone with Austin's brighter high tenor timbre works so amazingly well together.
Seriously! Even trained opera singers are sending props to Rob. With a little training he could really do it which is amazing! Austin may not be an opera singer, but he is still a world class singer and made it his. That takes guts. Mad respect to both of them!
Great reaction! Rob went to music school and majored in Opera. he last sang it 15 years ago. Austin went to college and graduated in music theater. Rob could sing Opera if he ever left Home Free.
I believe Home Free can sing anything and these two gentlemen from Home Free helped my case because it's amazing, and they sing it in a different language too. (Italian). So much talent here.
I appreciate you as well, Schnell, and thanks for the shout out. Now it's _Tim_ time, with "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/ Stay." over on his channel. You will love it.
Schnell, Being a long tome Home Free fan, IMO, this is the most surprising, shocking, stunning, eye popping, jaw dropping and O.M.G. performance by Rob and Austin to date. I can’t say enough how much I greatly respect and admire how brave Rob and Austin were to performed this wonderful song. 👏 Bravissimo, gentlemen! 👏 Bravissimo!
Okay, what can't they sing genre wise???? Just WOW!!!!!!!! 🍧 icing with a cherry on top!!!!! Amazing doesn't even begin to define how I feel about these guys..................
This performance didn't surprise me in the least. After hearing the power and beauty of their voices, I figured it was only a matter of time before they offered up an operatic selection. I think they crushed it. Professional opera singer level? I couldn't say because I'm no expert on opera. Or even music for that matter, but this to me sounded like "relatable" opera. It sounded beautiful to me and I'm so impressed that Rob and Austin were fearless in performing an extremely intimidating genre. They should be so proud of themselves! I loved this. Thanks for a great reaction.
Rob is actually a somewhat decent opera singer, and I'd bet he's classically trained. I mean, not Pavarotti level or anything, but passable enough to go on stage with it, and not be out of place in a real opera house. Austin not so much, but he definitely has the pipes to learn it if he ever wants to. Either way, they both did VERY well with this... better than expected!
I was shocked the first time I watched this. I am in Austin’s superfan club on his website and this was a video he and Rob decided to do. Rob studied opera for 4 years in college, but hadn’t performed opera in 15 years. I think he and Austin did a great job on this! I kind of expected Austin to do really great being he has that powerhouse voice and he majored in musical theater in college. I didn’t know about Rob’s opera training prior to the video. I was totally blown away, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I’m not a fan of opera.
Great Reaction! I have never been a fan of opera except maybe some Andrea Bocelli & a few others. But I have always appreciated the talent it takes to sing opera. I was pretty impressed with Rob & Austin's version of Nessun Dorma. I have heard this famous song done by Pavarotti. I think I was more surprised by Rob's range & powerful delivery than even Austin's. Pretty good for a couple of country boys! Nice to see them dressed up in suits & looking classy.
This aria is from Puccini's opera Turandot. Rob has training in classical opera and it shines through here. Austin does a wonderful job, too. I hope we'll hear more opera from Rob and Austin in the near future!
Wasn’t that good?!!! I was expecting to be rickrolled and then this happened. Wow. Rob studied opera in college but that was years ago. Austin studied musical theater. Austin had to talk Rob into doing this. SO glad he did! They were wonderful. Great reaction Schnell.🥰
I know right? Who knew Rob... could do... THAT!!! Never ceases to amaze me what these boys can do so well. Glad you loved it. They are introducing so many home fries to another world.
Schnell you are one of the reactors that I have been waiting for,to see the face of enjoyment, surprise and amazement. Rob who study opera in college but hasn't sung it in 15 years and Austin has a musical theater background. Both gents were nervous about how this would go over with their fans so far nothing but👍🏾👍🏾. Love your reaction,
This was only released a couple of weeks back. Austin talked Rob into it. Austin says he did it once, and then heard how good Rob sounded, and he did his over again, stepping up his game. Austin still sounds like Austin, but Rob? Totally different! I don't think I'd like a woman singing this, since it is meant to be a young man trying to win the hand of a cold-hearted princess. I have never been partial to Pavarotti. I liked it better by Placido Domingo. Pretty song. Bravo!
Sweet Schnell, as always you were in your zone. Your beautiful eyes and smile let us know without you having to speak what’s in your heart. It’s great to see someone getting as excited by the music as I. I think it’s interesting to see people who might not love opera, loving this song performed by these guys. And they say people who love country music, are just hicks who wouldn’t know music if it walked up and slapped them in the face. ❤ Ps could you take a look at Daneliya Tuleshova? She’s done some really great covers and a few originals. She has a million subscribers who might join your channel
Hello Thanks for the reaction 🧜♀ New subscriber. How about reacting to a Filipino Sisters sings "NEVER ENOUGH" by 4TH IMPACT Cover have a brilliant day!
Ok there are two more versions everyone should hear. Luciano Pavarotti sings "Nessun dorma" from Turandot (The Three Tenors in Concert 1994) and then this...for a unique take on this famous aria. Jeff Beck - Nessun Dorma (dalla Turandot di Giacomo Puccini)
Aurora songs to please react to; Little boy in the Grass on the Nidarosemen concert. The song is about the 2011 Norway attacks, referred to in Norway as 22 were two domestic terrorist attacks by neo-Nazi against the government, the civilian population, and a Workers' Youth League (AUF) summer camp, in which 77 people were killed. This is in tribute to the people and especially children were killed. One was Aurora’s close friend. Here, she sings of a boy hovering between life and death. The last line “Finally I am” is heart rendering. I think the drums represents both the acceleration of a beating heart right before it stops and dies. 2. On the same concert, at the end, is a cover of David Bowie, Men on Mars, done in a way you’d never suspect. It’s pure talent. 3. Watch the Klep concert if you want to see Aurora “get down”. 😊 There are two parts. 4. Watch the Haik concert hosted by here friends, in the forest she use to play in when she was young. If you look, you can see her parents there. Talk man with his arm around a lady. There are two parts. The 2nd part is her singing. 4. In Boxes. There was an old woman who lived in her neighborhood and the kids were always scared of her. Aurora‘a song imagines what’s she’s doing in that house. Somewhat dark but Aurora music isn’t dark. But listen to the lyrics. They are really funny. 5 Infection of a Different Kind- will touch the deepest part of your soul. (On the Haik concert-2nd song) 6. The River About not keeping emotions in ( Ist song on Haik concert) 7. The Seed (watch official version on VEVO) You and Adam Straugten are the only reactioners I’ve subscribe to. Like Adam, you allow us to listen to the song and if there’s an especially poignant part, you take a couple minutes to tell us. I CANNOT ABIDE reactioners who interrupt, interrupt, interrupt, then start a chapter of their issues and the problems of the world. If you’re going to react, let us hear the song too because some if ya haven’t heard it, and all the interruptions with their interpretations are not on point, which is aggravating. I haven’t heard all of Aurora’s sings, but I have heard the majority of them and search for meanings; my own and written ones.
Hey Schnell, thank you for your reactions, I really love your taste and appreciation of all types of music, especially the Sufi Qawalis and Indian music…I have a request for you to react to when you have the time, it’s Tina Arena, Jessica Mauboy and The Veronicas performing “ Chains” live at the 2015 Aria Awards which is an Australian Award show… much love and thanks from Australia…
Thank you for your kind reaction. If you want to hear another singer doing something different. Diana Ankudinova recently released a pop duet that is wonderful. It is called Side by Side. I think you would enjoy it. Hope you reach 100 K before Halloween.
They both sounded good, but I have to give the advantage to Rob on the opera genre. I listened to a professional opera singer's breakdown of this. He was impressed with how well they did considering their limited operatic training. He said they both have wonderful voices, but their performance here differs from what would be expected of a professional opera singer and the goal of his reaction was just to show those differences and give them credit for trying something outside of their normal performance genres.
If you were really such a fan of home free you would know how versatile they are they have fun songs songs that Tim wrote songs that show all their talents
Great job boys, but not my fav. My fav rendition is still by Sarah Brightman w' Pavarotti not too far behind. (Pavarotti doesn't hold the high note long enough for me).
They both sang in the same octave. Rob has the far better opera voice. Austin’s is too tinny sounding, but is clear. Rob is the huge stand out on this one.

There tonality, is that a word? Well, your a hot chick so I guess it should be.
They're both incredible but Rob truly sounds like an Opera Singer.
I love how Austin looks over at Rob to make sure he gets the timing right for the last part.
Austin is a lyric tenor with a high range, while Rob is revealed as a dramatic tenor with rich, powerful tonality. They harmonize beautifully. A lot of people have never heard the best of opera, and this is one of the most beautiful and difficult tenor arias. Everyone can use more beauty in their lives.
Well said, Catherine. The real test to discover who’s the real opera singer would have been not to mic them. There’s no amplified voices in opera.
The contrast of their voices is what works so well with a duet that's not supposed to be one. Rob's dark tenor tone with Austin's brighter high tenor timbre works so amazingly well together.

Rob has "chiaroscuro", while Austin has "air". They complement each other so beautifully in Nessun Dorma.

@@Mr.Ekshin Rob has operatic training but hasn't sung opera for 15 years since his schooling. His technique doesn't need much brushing up
@@lindanearing4710 Just pronunciation, projection, a little technique. But his barrel chest sound is magnificent!
This came out 13 days ago. Rob was actually trained in Opera. This was absolutely phenomenal to me. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Opera? CHECK!!
Next up... they're planning to tackle Janis Joplin, Michael jackson, and Mongolian throat singing.
Their talent is just on another level!
Thank you for another great reaction!

Our boys outdid themselves this time. Love Rob's lower richer voice. Austin as usual did great. Rob apparently studied opera in college.❤️
This is Austin's way of highlighting Rob's talent.
Absolutely!

Rob has a college degree in vocal performance which is primarily opera.

Hi, Schnell. Actually, they are singing in the same octave -- it's just that Austin's much brighter tone makes the notes seem higher!

If you liked this version, then listen to the best Pavorotti and Mario Lanza each in their solo versions which is how this aria was written by Puccini
If you have time, you might listen to Tim,s album ,Pieces of Me. He has a couple of releases of this. Thanks
Rob Lindquist studied Opera
And now we know why every other genre seems so easy for them.
Doesn't this girl pretend she's a voice coach? It looks like they're singing "Oprah" 1:14 🤣
They have both had classical training, although Lundquist may have had more.
1:13 Singing OPRAH?? 👀

You should watch David phelps sing this live. While these two did a fantastic job I think you would appreciate David's live version
Now we just need Floor to join them.
Lovely though this is I think it would have been better suited as a solo for Rob.
Schnell you need to listen to Luciano Pavarotti do this song, He is the gold standard for this song.
She did about a year before this one. Weird that she didn't make the connection.
Why aren't Home Free at the Country Music Awards..
What can't these boys do?
