Chao, Ilaria! Thank you for the shout out. Even though they are country singers at heart, I really love seeing people's reaction to the wide genera of songs that they can do. This took a while for them to do, especially for Austin. Rob took Opera during collage which made it a little easier for him to remember. Austin was trained in music theater at collage. I am so glad that you reacted to this performance. I thought it was appropriate for an Italian voice teacher to review and react to their performance in this area. Grazie Mille!
Ciao Louis, thank you very very much 🥰 I've mentioned you in this video because you're one of my best Supporters, you make me continue this job💫 I didn't know about the classical education of Rob but I admit that I was right when I said that his voice seems very near to Opera, for his rounded and lovely sounds (more similar to Pavarotti's voice)🎵 And at the same time I feel all the preparation of Austin, who has another type of projection in the voice, from Musical Teathre 🎶 A beautiful combo between Classical and Modern, I love challenges😃🤗
ok, full disclosure ... I am a confirmed Home Fry ... plus I feel any style of classical music can only be enjoyed live, never recorded. That said, the first reaction I watched was by a Professional Opera Singer (Maggie Reneé) where she breaks down their style, where I find Rob's Opera Trained voice blends very well with Austin's Classical Crossover Voice IMHO. Was waiting for an Italian reaction, and you did not disappoint. Thank you for also showing the lyrics with the video as well. This video is highly entertaining and highly educational, and one of the best reactions to Rob & Austin's cover. I was struck when Ms. Ilaria said that she forgot that they weren't Italian.
I was privileged years ago to have heard Pavarotti with Dame Joan Sutherland and was stunned at their beautiful voices. Rob had studied opera in college but that was years ago. He was very nervous to sing this. Austin, who studied musical theater, talked Rob into it. Are they opera singers? No, but they were wonderful. Loved it!🥰
yep was different and fresh and new, something away from what they normally do. Rob really has a varied and diverse set of talents, as he shows off more of that here. Austin has such a great voice he can fool 99% of the people with his theater opera singing the same way a great impressionist can do accents. Most will go "thats amazing" but the 1% professionals will notice it isn't true, but it's still entertaining due to his great singing voice.
I am so glad that you reacted to their performance! I thought it was important for an Italian voice teacher to review and react to their performance of this Aria. You were able to appreciate their performance and highlight areas where they could improve!

I'm baffled how no one, and I mean no one is bothered by Austin's F# landing for "vincerò" on a G major chord! G MAJOR! You can't just stay on an F# when the entire harmony has switched to a full G Major chord! It does NOT sound well.
