I would like to know your opinion. I think you will be surprised. Diana has a very unusual voice and artistic presentation for her age.🌹🌹🌹 Thanks in advance
There's not a moment from this show that isn't worth hearing a thousand times. You should start at the show opener Shine On You Crazy Diamond, it's an experience man!
Agreed. I would also recommend the following three songs: 1. Tool - Lateralus 2. Dream Theater - Octavarium 3. Coheed and Cambria - Welcome Home All three are incredible prog songs that will melt the skin off your face 🤘
This intro is just gorgeous. His voice is soothing and beautiful. I'm 54 years old and have been listening to Pink Floyd since I was 17. I'm just now really LISTENING to it since I discovered the Pulse concert. ❤
We were all so blessed in the 70, 80 and 90's. You went and knew you were making 70-80K new best friends. You stayed after for a couple hours eating hoagies and drinking a beer.....having been there ALL day. Beyond the stars is where they took you.
I have seen Pink Floyd Live 4 times… I saw this same show in N.Y. 1994. The concert brochure said the stage is 120 feet wide. It takes a crew of 60 technicians three days to set up the entire lights and all. The concert schedule required that there had to be three entire crews to keep up. They leap froged each other for 92 shows with 20 Trucks per crew and a total staff of 195. The tour cost the promoters $98.MILLION to put on, but the total profit was $260 MILLION… I have seen Pink Floyd 4 times. Nick Mason’s drumming is incredible and matches Gilmour’s guitar emotions while Richard Wright takes us on a Magic Carpet Ride of tones that form the foundation of it all. All of us fortunate enough to have seen this show live were in a TRANCE.... MESMERIZED the entire show... as you can imagine. We walked out saying.... What did we just witness? That was out of this world incredible. I have had the extreme pleasure of meeting David Gilmour and shook both of his hands at the same time as he smiled. Hard to explain how awesome that moment was in my life.
They still haven't finished unearthing Pompeii. To think, David's playing where gladiators fought to the death.. man he's surrounded by ghosts . That whole concert rocks.. I wish I was there
I met David Gilmour in 1984 back stage at a concert in Hollywood Calif. He gave me a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know.
Beautiful song. It's the only song on the Division Bell album credited solely to David Gilmour, who wrote it about his wife, whom he married that year (1994). I highly recommend checking out David Gilmour, Live in Gdansk, 'Echoes', 2006. It's his last performance of that song with keyboard player Richard Wright, who would pass away a few years later. After that, David Gilmour retired 'Echoes', saying he could never play it again without Richard, that the song had been a 'musical conversation' between two of them. Their last performance of the song is incredibly powerful and moving.
It was a PF reaction where I first ran across your good self 😄 seems an age since then. I love this song, this concert and this group 💖 my dvd copy is all but worn out!!
Hey man. I've loved all reactions to My favorite band, Pink Floyd. You might try going back in time a bit to earlier Pink Floyd. Check out the album "The Wall". Songs like Mother, Hey you, and Another Brick in the wall. You will find that one of the Original members, Roger Waters, who was not part of the Pulse adds a different twist to their music. Anyway, its cool to see the younger people, like you, discovering how amazing these legends of rock and roll are. Keep it up!
It's amazing to think that this song was followed by "Sorrow" at this concert (you reacted to Sorrow a few months ago). Such a contrast of songs but they work so well one after the other.
Wonderful concert, wonderful DVD, wonderful reaction by you Pope... and a perfect description by you: immortal music. Your ability to spot essential music and thrive on it gives hope to old guys like me- gee, maybe some young folk DO get it. Well done, young sir.
Saw the Pulse tour in 1994 at the old Cleveland stadium. Late teens at the time, it was a night I will never forget. Thumbs up bro, good luck with the channel. 👍
I am lucky enough to have seen 3 live shows in the 90's.. The Delicate Sound of Thunder and the Pulse tours. All in Florida. They were magic and I will never forget 👍✌🙏
Crazy that I never knew until a few months ago, that Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix toured together decades ago! Finally got to see Pink Floyd in concert in Dallas, Texas in 1994. It was great! "Dark Side of the Moon" being my favorite album ever.
@POPENYCO - just thought that you might be interested in a very rare interview that David Gilmour was invited to on a major BBC TV programme which goes out every Sunday morning called the Andrew Marr Show. This particular short interview which was broadcast to honour the 50th anniversary of the band is absolutely fascinating and reveals some things that Dave is/was involved with throughout his career and explains about the controversy about the lyrics within the track 'Another Brick In The Wall'. Listen to the final section of the interview where Marr says something to Dave which he admits he has never ever said to any other interviewee in his career. So I guess Andrew Marr is a Pink Floyd fan then! Here is the link: Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour - Older Years Wisdom… - UA-cam
Love your reaction and you say it all. If you're gonna do more Pink Floyd, I'd go with the suggestion of Justin Atest below staying with the Live Performance of the Pulse Tour.
How cool that you take note of recommendations and comments 😎 Great song & reaction which must surely be followed soon by Another Brick in the Wall from the same concert One day, when we’re bored and it’s raining, I and I’m sure others will try to give you some better insight into what it was like to actually attend this tour Not exaggerating to say it changed my life!
Mate try comfortably numb studio version (had the old singersongwriter roger waters on the vocals with David Gilmore They did a small version of a song also on the wall (video) not on the album or anywere else and that songs called the Tigers broke free talking Bout world war 2 and how his dad was in that invasion ect
ya have to do dogs of war from this concert. no one ever reacts to the song and its a dark side of pink floyd you never ever hear.. but I have to say you have great reactions to your music.

You do back in 1967 somewhere about that and I saw a picture of Pink Floyd near the old Studios and there was Jimi Hendrix hanging out with Pink Floyd you know it Jimi he knew what was happening yeah my old friend got me tickets and we got to see Pink Floyd in Los Angeles it was the Wall concert believe it or not I don't know who I am there isn't a film of that show because there really should be I know there was footage taken here and there but my God what a spectacle that was who tell you about it later miss you want to know more I don't know if you've done Shine On You Crazy Diamond yet my time there's a second part of that song Shine On You Crazy Diamond on the end of the album you know it starts off for Shine On You Crazy Diamond the minute hand so Shine On You Crazy Diamond and if he haven't done either or if you've only done the first one you should do the second one and if you do yo that second one of course do the first one if you haven't but and then do the second one what I'm trying to say is when you get to the second Shine On You Crazy Diamond I'll tell you a little story about that there's a little riddle in there and I'll let you know after you do that reaction alright G I will check you on the next drop
Hey brother! I got some requests for you, Jimi Hendrix - foxey lady live in Maui Eddie van halen - eruption solo live Some of the greatest guitar playing ever!
Just been binging on your reactions, and I think you should do some more early pink floyd, and check out Dream Theater/John Petrucci. I think you will like them, progressive.
After some quick research I’ve actually reacted to four songs off that album, comfortably numb, run like hell, another brick in the wall part 1, and Hey you, to my surprise their most popular song comfortably numb isn’t on their most popular or talked about album dark side of the moon very cool info but I will definitely give the album a full play through.
@@POPE. It is definately an experience from the first song to the last. It is based off Roger Water's childhood and Syd Barret's sad decline. It is a masterpiece. You should react to "The Trial" from The Wall.
I’m telling you man. This isn’t a PINK FLOYD comment but you really need to hear the YES album DRAMA. I guarantee, I FUCKING guarantee it will kick your ass. All the music you are doing on your channel I can sing along to and have for DECADES ok? I’ve seen ALL these bands MANY times each! (except for ZEPPELIN)😕. DRAMA is an extremely dynamic YES record and is different from the rest in a good way. It’s the only one without Jon Anderson singing but it’s a stand alone record musically for sure. It might even be their most Rock album. Not for me to say. What I can say is that it’s one of my personal favorites and I have excellent taste. It WILL KICK YOUR ASS! On your channel or not, listen to the whole thing start to finish. You have my word man. It’s fucking good.

Guess you haven't realized that the studio versions of Floyd are much better.
I saw that show in my town in May 1994 when Pink Floyd came for three sold out concerts. I was 22 at the time, nothing since has come close.

Richard Wright makes all his keyboards so spiritual in this and many other songs.
Actually saw this concert in Houston in 1989! My favorite Pink Floyd song!!
Deseo que nadie viva está canción y si la vive eres alguien realmente fuerte y feliz en la soledad
