Many old heads who watched Michael Jordan play always make these claims. They say if he played today, he would dominate the league, average 50 and so on.
But why do they say these things?
Is it because they don’t like the current era and its players? Or is it actually their honest opinion founded by what they saw from Jordan when they played against him?

I’d say Jordan averages 36-38 pts a game. 50 is insane. 40 is more believable. I don’t think he’d average the minutes he did in the late 80s-early 90s. Monta Ellis in 2010 was the last guy to average 40 minutes a game. He’d average like 36-37 minutes a game and be easily a top 2 player in the league
50 is wild he would be a 30+ per game scorer for sure and I agree he would be at least the 3rd best player in the league
He would average some around 34 - 35 ppg just like Luka and prime james harden because he shots like 25 times per game on a 56% True shooting percentage

@@jolli4116 Exactly. With handchecking and with the big men being able to protect the basket, Lebron's shooting efficiency would drop significantly.
It wouldn't be better than Grant Hill's efficiency, for example, who was a better dribbling infiltrator (off the drible) than Lebron.
