I see you limping around.. i have a hip issue i was thinking of doing stemcells but i think I'm too late and need to replace it... can you tell me what your using it for
And which of those has the cheapest replacement parts. and are the parts redily available.? example how much is the controller when it goes bad ? i'll stick with simple toggle switches on a e47 meyer and also i can use cheap-o auotmatic transmission from dollargeneral .. them new plow look crazy heavy.. 600-800 lbs heavy.. that gonna wear out frontend parts on them new fangled trucks really fast ... i'll just say KISS -- Keep It Simple Stupid .... #oldskool plain n simple
I will say, the western controller are stout. Lord knows, I’ve put those trough hell and back. Just make sure your tell your guys to hang them back on the controller mount/hanger. And definitely not on the floor in a puddle of salt brine. Yeah circuit boards do terribly in salt brine.
I'm with everyone else western is hands down the best plow system from hooking up to wiring the truck took about an hour and half especially with the ram snow prep kit there chain system is what i like too for when it breaks you can push it into a pile and pick it up!
1970's n 80's trucks require no crazy leveling kit,., bcuz the front of only goes down 3/4th of inch when blade is lifted ..front leafs springs,. .. front coil springs are for cars ,,.not trucks.. smh
The problem isn’t the coil springs the trucks are made for women or guys that think trucks are cool to drive they would bitch if heavier spring rates were on the truck ride quality would be horrible. I run 2 ex military cucv’s a 84 and a 86 6.2 diesels ran 12 hrs other day used 10 gals fuel
I’d put that arctic or a larger one on a 5 ton dump like a gmc 4500 single axle cc like that nice to have 5 ton to salt heavy when it gets real bad real fast out ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

Western makes the best plow
Anyone else using Hiniker poly plows?
The first "i" in Hiniker isn't long. It's short, like in the word "tin." Or think of it starting like you say Hindenburg.
I personally think the boss controller is the worse on i have ever used. I do agree the hiniker is the best by far western is second in my opinion
I use a western on a 1 ton at work...while it does a fine job i would not recommend it if you're going to be taking it on & off a lot...also the push button controller is OK...but much prefer the boss joystick on my own unit
See, I love the western controller. For a wideout at least. Have minimal time on a v plow.
Stan what do you think of the TOPGUN rear blades ?
think that spencer is a more-on for buying a back blade when he only has 3 or 4 plowing accounts.
@
I didn’t ask because of Spencer I asked because I live in Southwest Michigan and I see them around this area quite often
They are well built units.
Douglas dealers around me so I always just go with western. 🤷🏻♂️
we run snow ex power plow winged it is by far the best plow we have ever ran... also why don't you run any snow ex plows
Hey Stan great video .i wanted to ask you and your wife are going to try stemcells and i know it's her back but what's your issue ?? I see you limping around.. i have a hip issue i was thinking of doing stemcells but i think I'm too late and need to replace it... can you tell me what your using it for
here to help
Missing fisher the best
And which of those has the cheapest replacement parts. and are the parts redily available.? example how much is the controller when it goes bad ? i'll stick with simple toggle switches on a e47 meyer and also i can use cheap-o auotmatic transmission from dollargeneral .. them new plow look crazy heavy.. 600-800 lbs heavy.. that gonna wear out frontend parts on them new fangled trucks really fast ... i'll just say KISS -- Keep It Simple Stupid .... #oldskool plain n simple
Review some Sno-way plows
Love my wideouts tho
Salt heavy, up higher so she melts down off in to the inlets like god intended
I’m on my 20th year this year.
I will say, the western controller are stout. Lord knows, I’ve put those trough hell and back. Just make sure your tell your guys to hang them back on the controller mount/hanger. And definitely not on the floor in a puddle of salt brine. Yeah circuit boards do terribly in salt brine.
Copy that. May west for the poly cuttin edges
How to pick the right snow plow? Talk to the guys that build them instead of the guys that sell them.
I normally do.
I'm with everyone else western is hands down the best plow system from hooking up to wiring the truck took about an hour and half especially with the ram snow prep kit there chain system is what i like too for when it breaks you can push it into a pile and pick it up!
arctic will break your truck. your truck will break the other brands.
Western quality has gone way down. Nothing but wiring harness problems with them on brand new plows and they don't stand behind it
Thats pretty sad to hear. Best of luck!
You are pronouncing Hiniker wrong
TRUMP is back in office, time to think about another RAM. It is fun to watch the comparisons.
SNOWAY. SNO -WAY. BEST CONTROLLER. BEST PLOWS. LOOK AT THEM PLEASE 🙏
