Good morning, Stan! You're always on the cutting edge (no pun intended) of tech and how it can improve your business. I hope and pray it all pays out for you in the end, Brother. Have an awesomely prosperous season! God bless.
The one thing I don’t like about a boss is the truck side mount and how low it hangs and how ugly it is with the plow off. Nothing beats a western truck side mount and how you can take the horns off
From a guy that used to push snow up to about 35 years ago, (I can’t believe I’m getting old), I owned the first Tri plow in central Illinois. I ran it on my 72 Chevy three-quarter ton 4x4 that I had extra leaves installed on the front. I also installed a dual battery kit and General motors 5.7 diesel alternator. That was about as trick as things got back then. I’m amazed by the technology in the new equipment.
That’s weird. I just bought the same plow 2 week ago and I was told it had the down pressure that is good for back dragging but my control is not like yours with the red center. Wondering if I got hustled
I was thinking same thing one of the previous videos he showed he was selling his back Blades. Would be cool to get and updated video with why you have made these changes and I thought you were keeping the brine sprayer on that truck. Just curious sense you use all this stuff and wondering your reasons for change.
Time and place for brine treated rock salt also. Number one rule on salting is stay to the high side of the crown or high side of parking lot and let gravity and car drag the salt brine around. No 2 rule you needed moisture for both to work, so you don't want all the snow removed if salting. Almost 30 years plowing parking lots 21 years plowing and salting city streets.
I love all this stuff, Has to be expensive though. I understand the whole spend money to make money part but that setup, truck plow sander has to be about 125k
I wish BOSS would come up with a better electric plug connection. They can be a real pain to connect. I know my BOSS dealer has said that I'm not the only one that hates it.
Maybe I missed it in the video but why not go back to the big plow the sno power or whatever it was the f12 or f14? Why are you going back to a conventional v? Is it because you you have more loaders now so don’t need to use a truck as a loader per say?
Stan have to go to school to learn all options on plow and salter seems nice can count pounds spread per job as long as remember to log it properly. And everyone has to take a dump don't doc the guy for it.
As soon as a company tracks each person , this company loses . If said company does not trust this person fire them! All this does is bring down your company .

I have never had an issue with the boss plug 🔌
Your crew is gonna be busy with this snowstorm
Love to know the cost for both ?
We just purchased a brand new vbx+ 1.5 yrd in November here in Michigan, it ran just shy of $9000 with installation.

Going from western to boss. I know you said you ran them a long time ago when the power v flat tops were probably big. Why the switch?
@@schofieldlawncare there both good plows but when a company dicounts or gives them to u for free utube world is what it is easy money

I didn't see any suspension upgrades
Not gonna lie I’m pretty sad to see a boss V on your truck… you’re always on the leading edge of technology and you toss an old dinosaur on your rig?
That beard is ridiculous. Looks terrible...
That's not what you're mom said
