    Excellent work! I’m going to need to consolidate some of my figs and find some new varieties to graft next spring. 🙂

    I've only gotten into gardening the past few years, but I'm up to 8 apple trees in my yard here in the San Fernando Valley, and I just received my first IV Organics products from Amazon. Your videos have been a wealth of information and inspiration. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, and hopefully I can attend a demonstration or class with you sometime in the future.

    Thanks for all the videos, I just got a house in Phoenix last year and have been planting fruit trees ever since. Grafting looks fascinating but intimidating.

      Hello CJ Camp 👋 Very well said about grafting being ‘fascinating but intimidating.’ Perhaps that’s the HUGE excitement & reward when you succeed at creating a grafted tree! I hope you give it a try soon- keep us posted!

    Thank you for this lesson. I would love to try this. I do have a fig tree. It’s a green fig. Not sure if it’s name. Would love to get your cuttings. Thank you.

    If I buy the can of white protectant and only use a small amount can I recap it and use again at a later date?

    • @TheTexasBoys
      @TheTexasBoys 2 роки тому

      Yes, just make sure you put the lid on tight and mix it back up. I used the rest of a can over a year later and it was just as effective as when I first opened it.

    Will you be giving away the 5 in 1 tree with a couple of different varieties of figs? Or are you giving away the original root fig tree with one variety? I would love to have the 5 different types of figs so I can have a variety in a small area.

    I’m not sure if my question has been answered but he goes: How long does a graft begin fruiting?

    • @TheTexasBoys
      @TheTexasBoys 2 роки тому +1

      If the cuttings were from a mature tree that has already fruited those cuttings could fruit this year.
