may ask something ,the position of insta 360 camera should be facing your handle bar grip no facing forward?
Camera should face the subject 😊
what is that manfrotto tube name? i cannot find it?
Great tutorial Shanil. I'll share it on 360r!
Ok sure. Thanks!
Thank you for this. I recently got the insta360 one r camera and your biking videos are very helpful. Great job.
Great to hear!
Mounting on the handle is the one that looks the best. It is more pleasing for the viewer. Also as you said, in post the focus points can be set according to the best scenes to show.
There is a similar setup as the Manfratto that you showed. It's from RamMount. I am planning to get it to try on Bicycle and Electric Scooter. Will let you know the outcome.
I love your channel and learned a lot for my videos from your Channel. I love the Insta360 One X and trying to make maximum use of it.
Thank you! Let me know how it goes! 😀
Excellent Shanil, thank you!
Your welcome!
Great video ... keep on it ! ! !
Woah, -that Manfrotto clamp is one big massive mount! Nice tut, -thx m8.
It's expensive but worth it! My smaller SmallRig clamp broke during the making of this 😭
my dude loves Willen lake
It's a great place to visit!
@@Best360 Its weird bro cause its 10 mins from my house :')
@@LookeStuff Lucky you! I love filming there! It's worth the journey from London 😉
In order to limit the shaking when recording, which mode is the most reasonable?
5.7k is best but you will always get shaking due to vibrations from the bumpy ground
nice options. handle mount is the best out of all these as we need not worry about the camera changing direction. I am also planning to get into Bike / Motorbike Insta360ing. Currently i do only walk/rollerblade with Insta360
I think so too. I just need to make it a little more stable from all the vibrations!
Check out this video: it shows the effects of using this cam on a motorbike: ua-cam.com/video/j4GbeizwaT4/v-deo.html
You should have got a gopro fusion. no problems with that.
I mounted my Ista360 ONE on a (about) 1m selfie stick pointing forward and angled upward (strapped to the frame using elastic strings). In this way I record bike rides together with my wive, where we both are nicely in the frame. The selfie stick damps the vibrations rather well, so a somewhat uneven road is no problem.
Would be cool to see the result of this 😊👍
@@Best360See here some footage. In some shots the shadow shows up of the selfiestick with the 360-camera. ua-cam.com/video/ekFnWPmlgkU/v-deo.html
Do you have a video available? I would like to try it.
@@rp80102
@@rp80102 In the link below you see the mounting of the camera on the bike by means of a selfie stick and elastic straps, followed by some footage. The selfie stick is a (sturdy) Manfrotto pole type MPCOMPACT-BK. The mounting with the elastic straps is efficient but somewhat cumbersome. I have to find some convenient mounting clamps. ua-cam.com/video/zeCoy045WQY/v-deo.html
This is what i was looking for. But with the camera on the hat kinda looks dorky. But guess that is the best so you can have a perfect 360 view. Great work.
Haha yes! But it is the best view!
I’ve just made a similar video on my bike.. I found the stick waving about a lot ...but it did ok on the handle mount
That's why I avoided the stick! The connection between the clamp and the camera has to be as close as possible to prevent sway / shake / vibration.
How To Make A Video yeah it was waving everywhere.. even hitting me in the face lol
There’s a waist mount that goes on your back which might be better??
@@SnowboardPaul Lol! That is definitely not ideal then haha. I considered the waist mount, but I am not convinced it is sturdy enough to hold a long stick. The longer the stick the more sway. So I am trying to find ways to keep the rig as small and convenient as possible. Who wants to carry that around?! Not me 😂
Thank you!
Your welcome! 😁👍
How would you film xcountry skiing? I am finding that the shoulder action in polling really messes up the stabilization! I have tried wearing a harness with the camera on a stick poking up above my back. Works fine for gliding but no good if one has to use the poles!
What about a helmet or body mount? Using sticks is challenging because the longer the stick the more likely it is to shake/vibrate.
I tried the Veho Muvi X-Pack Handsfree Wearable Mounting Camera Rig for Muvi KX-Series | Muvi K-Series | Muvi HD | Muvi Micro | GoPro - Black (VCC-A040-XP but it is no better than simply stuffing a selfie stick in my jacket and belt. It would work well on a bike and give you 360 views,
I haven't tried a helmet but would be concerned about too much head movement. Will give it a go :)
@@scenesofvermont3602 I think the helmet would be good actually. You are just not allowed to look around whilst filming. You can only look around when you watch it back 🤣.
When skiing I just hold the stick in one of my hands: ua-cam.com/video/tzAX31h0cmw/v-deo.html
That handle bar is way too heavy and you don’t get the holy grave look setting upright like you have it.
There is also one for the back, with the use of a selfistick.
Jaap Marchal
Yep the waist bar. I avoided it because I would not feel comfortable with a long swaying stick behind me whilst I am travelling at speed. I think it would break, and I have heard reports on the Facebook groups that it has.
You can also use the chest mount for this. You just put the chest mount the other way round on your back and connect the selfie stick.
@@MotocrossFilmmaker Good idea. Is it stable though? I did not use the stick because of the shakiness.
@@Best360 ua-cam.com/video/C3I9ZQPvTnQ/v-deo.html my first test, let me know what you think.
What shutter speed i have to select while mounting in motorcycle ?
i have a suspicion this guy is a robot... HE DOESN'T BLINK!!!!
🤖👍
Thank you very much for this Video! 👍🙂
Your welcome! 😁👍
You don't need that huge ballhead mount on your handlebars? You can better use a selfiestick or monod and attach it on different positions on your bike, put it in a backpack or hold it in your hand. See for example my video at ua-cam.com/video/YHykMhGYwQk/v-deo.html
I using the invisible stick and slant it infront. So that u can view yourself together with the bike. I posted some on my Instagram : djfunkysara
Will check it out. Was considering doing something like that but I was wondering whether there would be a stitch line and shake! 🤔
@@Best360 ua-cam.com/video/QkLVY2ZCEFU/v-deo.html
Why would you wonna turn around a 360 cam?
To look at the view around you
@@Best360 ???? It's a 360 camera?? (and it's on top of your head) LOL
@@Chairman7w What I meant to say is... when you are cycling, you need to look back when overtaking on the road. So in that case you will see a brief blur when you need to look behind for cars or other cyclists before overtaking
@@Best360 Aaahh, gotcha! Thanks.
