Thank you for this great guide. Plain and very sharp!
Excellent video again. Thanks so much Shani.
Such good explanation about the Manual setting! Can't wait to try it!
Getting my One X tomorrow. Subscribed because you're so easy to understand
Glad I come across that way. Thank you! 😄👍
Hi! Great video!!! I have a question for you, How to make the settings made by the application stored in the camera when disconnecting the application? Thanks
Simple enough to understand! Thank you
Cheers! Do check out the updated video in the description 🙂
Best tutorial ever! I've been searching for this kind of immersive video tutorial for hours, thank you!

Great! There is also an updated video to this in the video description 😄👍
Thanks for your tutorial It´s a great help for a beginer in 360 world. Maybe you can prepare a tutorial for editting video on the official app, or on premiere showing us pro trick, meanwhile inta360 realase his final new desktop app, I read somewhere it will be this month. saludos from Valencia city!
Your welcome! More videos are in the pipeline for sure 😀 I loved visiting Valencia!
You are greate ! Thank you very much !!!
Your welcome! 😊
What I do when I shoot in standard mode and it’s too bright outside can that be fixed? The video shot was so bright you can’t see the picture.
My one x 2 just arraived 😁 ill apply all your knwolege to my videos. 😎 thank you😘
Enjoy!
Thanks for the great video. I've subscribed. I'll be using the One X whilst running so from my understanding of your advice you are recommending a higher shutter speed to reduce any motion blur. What setting do you think would be best? Thanks again.
Yes you are right! Definitely use higher shutter speed for running. I am assuming you are running during the day, in which case you will have to set a high shutter speed anyway. Try keep it above 1/120 shutter speed. Take it for a test run before the real event and see if it works 🙂
Really helpful, thank you for demystify.
Glad it was helpful!
Great job!
Thanks!
Superb....
impressive tutorial! simple, direct and practical! Thank you very much. I will try all this information and tips on my insta360 one x. Please post more videos with tips and tests of accessories (such as a remote control that works well on the insta360 one x) and housings, etc.
Thank you! Will do! Soo much videos in the pipeline 😅
Very helpful TIPS. thanks a lot.
Your welcome!
Great Video ! Thx !!!
Your welcome!
Great video. I have two different tones on my lenses that doesn't change with any settings . This is reported by so many on the community page . Is this the same with yours ?
One lense is darker slightly more yellow and not when facing one to the sun !
Should I send this item back ? Thanks
I would definitely get that checked out by Insta360. I don't have that problem!
Very helpfull
Hey, nice video. What's the best settings for a youtube video riding a fast electric unicycle in a sunny day?
Try ISO 100 and just keep cranking up the shutter speed until it is not too bright. I usually use 1/2000 shutter speed on a sunny day.
Thanks a lot! Please make a video tutoria for editing the INSV file of One X in Premiere Pro CC 2019!!!
In the pipeline 😁
@@Best360 WOW Thanks I'll wait!
nice tutorial boss, may i know how to fix different exposure of the lense in insta 360 one rs?
Turn on chromatic calibration 👍
Blink police in da house! Nice video mate.
Someone make a tutorial on how to blink! 🤖👍
This is the single best settings explanation video for any camera. Thank you. Well done!
That's great to hear. Thank you 😁👍
Hey Shanil what setting can i use for a concert stage that has many lights? I would love to record using my OneX. What do you recommend?
Hi Ariana, it's really hard to say without actually being there. I recommend watching my How To Use Manual Mode video which has a downloadable flowchart to help you correctly expose your ONE X video 😊
@@Best360 awesome!!! I will do that now! Thanks Shanil!
Thank you. 😎 👍 When I shot with 1/50, ISO 100 and bright sunshine. I think, I would need a ND filter. Or has the Insta ISO 25 or will help the HDR mode?
Because there is no ND for One X, you just have to increase the shutter speed as I mentioned in the video 😊 HDR mode is very good for this particular scenario! As long as you keep the camera still!
@@Best360 Ok! :-) And when I set it to automatic, is it possible to expose 1/2 f-stop below? You know, that (most of) the highlights are drawing.
@@CameraCheckChannel Yes you can do that too... But ideally you should always be using manual mode to decide where the best exposure is so it doesn't keep changing brighter/darker when you film 😊
Hi, was this video shot with Insta360 one x?
Great video. Question, is there anywhere in the clip that shows what the settings were in the record ?
Which settings?
@@Best360 I meant your blogging camera but I found them :-)
Great video, I love learning from your Channel. I have a question for you, Hoping you know the answer. I want to shoot in Raw using my insta360 One x and create an image from a manual bracketing set of RAW files. What would be the work flow you would recommend? Thak you>...
Ben Claremont's video shows you how to do this here: ua-cam.com/video/eCdCTy0esOg/v-deo.html
Hi . I want ask a question pls. Help me.hiw i can dowload my 360 v. To youtube ,instagram, etc. Ty so much
You can export 360 video from the One X app and then upload it to social media 🙂👍
Might this flow sheet help with the low light exposure issues of the PRO 2?
Yes sure
thx. man
Your welcome 😊👍
hi, how can i save the manual settingd as default ? th eone x allways jumps back to auto after restart.
You can't save them at the moment ☹ I have this problem too!
I've ruined many of my footage and taught that because of onex2 was a poor camera, until I've found this clip, thanks.
Hey
What does Step setting do on Insta 360 One X ranges from 0.3ev to 4ev
Which mode?
Isn't log mode intended to give the video a more flat color profile, to allow for better color correction in post? I'd say turn it off if you don't want to correct in post, but on if you intend to.
That's the theory but if their log mode gives terrible results then avoid it!
Can you make a video like this about the Qoocam 8k?
It's the same principal. Just switch the Qoocam into Manual Mode 👍
Are you sure HDR video mode needs to be on a tripod? Is this true anymore with the latest firmware update?
Yes still true 👍
Hi. Mine shows darker one side and lighter the other one. It is also obvious in the stich line which is black. I tried the chromatic callibration but you can still see the difference. Is the camera faulty?
Maybe, contact Insta360
Really good explaining.. thanks for the tips 😊😊😊
Glad it's easy to follow. Your welcome! 😁
Thanks for the video. Some question.... I need to set everything using mobile app only or I can do it directly on the camera? I saw less settings on the camera. I need to film with the camera connected (WiFi or cable) or I can set the parameters and to film only with the camera?
You must use the app to set manual exposure!
Have you tried to shoot the milky way with this? That would require the use of a higher ISO?
I'm assuming this will be a timelapse... If so, try ISO 400 and drop the shutter to 55 seconds.
@@Best360 that depends on the focal distance of the lens. I don't have this camera yet but I'd be interested in seeing how it looks.
@@liketheyogurt I think there are some examples floating around the Insta360 Facebook community!
Hello brother,
I am facing one problem.
I am using Insta360 One X. But I am not able to shoot in HDR video.
Whenever i press the record button, it doesn’t do anything.
Please guide me.
I don’t understand all the exporting settings. For UA-cam and Facebook what is the best exporting settings? Is 5k or 3820 or 1080 better? Also, what bit rate I see some have 18 but others do 30 or 60? Also, h264 or h265?
In my videos after I export There is a huge black Stitching Line and the video is very blurry. Why? Maybe due to wrong exporting settings? It’s fine in the Desktop Studio App but only happens when it’s exports.
I go through export settings in here: ua-cam.com/video/uSXnO5NLybA/v-deo.html. The black stitch line is strange. Blurry footage will be down to export settings.
These settings would work on Insta 360 R aswell, correct?
Yep 👍
@@Best360 thank you!
This setting apply to photo too?
Depends on the effect you are going for... It will work for normal daylight.
I cannot figure out how to pair the One X with Bluetooth I see the device to pait but no code, Can you help with this, Thank's
I have never paired the One X to Bluetooth so I'm not sure... Ask Insta360 for the code on Facebook messenger 😊
Thanks I don't really need it but was curious since the One X has Bluetooth possibility. I'll keep searching.
Hi
When i am getting HDR image from insta360 one x, it is saving three files with three Exposures. When I am seeing it in one x's app, it is looking fine, it combines it and does it all itself. But if I am using PC for doing my editing on computer, I am not able to find any option in their one x studio for PC. Can you let me know how to solve it.
Currently there is no HDR photo workflow on Studio For One X... Export the HDR photo from the One X app and then use it.
Thanks for quick reply.
In app also, we have to export one HDR image at time, it is not allowing to multi select and export together
any workaround?
@@adityamundra3699 I'm not aware of any work around at the moment... ☹
Thanks for help.
Currently there are many limitations, we are not able to use high power CPU of PC as many things are to be done from mobile.
We have to use many apps and programs together to get a single job done.
Your videos helped me a lot to learn to take better photographs and videos on insta360 one x
All these settings can only be made with a connected phone rite???
correct.
Yes you need to connect a phone 😊
To set all those things you have to connect to the phone right ? You can not set them with buttons on the camera itself I believe. Also most of the editing has to be done in app as the studio version available for computers does not have all the functionality that the mobile apps provides. I hope Insta360 company will fix it.
Yes your phone must be connected, and there are big differences between the mobile app and desktop software as you found out!
Can we use HDR in moving video now after their updates?
No - Just when it's still.
@@Best360 Ok. And I don't have a phone compatible with the app, so do you have any idea what shutter speeds are set through the camera settings that say "Fast" or "Fastest"?
@@FaithandActiondotnet I unfortunately don't have a clue... :(
@@Best360 I got a reply from an Insta360 One X Facebook page & "Fast" is 1/60 & "Fastest" is 1/120. Thanks anyway!
@@FaithandActiondotnet That's good to know! Thanks!
Apple have a bundle offer 449, bullet time tripod, poles battery spare and SD card.... little bobby bargin😎
It's a good bundle!
for photos there is no video tutorial?
Photos you can just use auto outdoor
So how do I change the settings on the insta360? Did I miss it?
This video is going to be updated soon. Hang in there a little longer 😊👍
@@Best360 Thank you!
Best360 yeah how do I change the settings
But if i am riding mountain bike in the forest?
Check out the updated video in the description 😊👍
How do you edit a RAW photo?
You need to import the raw photo into studio for one x and stitch it. It will output a raw stitched file you can drop into photoshop or lightroom for colour grading
@@Best360 It came into Studio stiched.
As a .DNG
When I just exported the only option that I saw was .JPG
@@pak0033 Export it now
I’m just watching this for when I buy my 360 One X
I tried to find how to make a video Facebook community and end up watching a crocodile dundee remake trailer... is this right?
It's changed to here now: facebook.com/groups/best360.club/
Cool but very long vidéo
Yea it is a bit long but I thought it would all make sense in one video at a slow pace 😊
There's no exposure meter?
Nope
I've not heard that use of "180 degree rule before" - here's the one that is most often meant when someone uses the phrase...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/180-degree_rule
Yes that is also another rule that applies to filmmaking 🙂👍
The blind analogy is really explaining “aperture”, not ISO.
Apologies for the confusion on this definition. I was trying to explain what happens visually rather than technically.
I.S.O International Standards organization EYE ESS OHH not a single word.
Talk about the camera settings and does not give a single illustrative example. Bravo 🤣
Will update this video with examples in the future 🙂
Fuck it I'll just put everything on auto
