Great work, as usual Shanil. Can I suggest though, if you are partially extending the selfie stick start by extending the thicker sections near the handle, rather than the thin sections near the camera, so there is less flex and bounce in the stick, particularly when the stick is mounted near the horizontal.

WE have been shooting gopro videos on group rides for years. I think a helmet mount would be epic to see all the things happening using a 360 camera

That mini selfie stick was a prototype and didn't get mass produced. I would say the Insta360 one r mini selfie stick is a great alternative 👍

Shanil, I am planning to shoot 360 footage of a longer (multi hour) trail ride with a helmet cam mount. Can I get your advice on how to shoot so I have less keyframes adn editing when done?
There is something called Direction Lock. With Direction Lock ON, wherever you point your head, is whatever the camera will show, without having to do keyframing!

Yes, absolutely! You will also need a gopro tripod mount adapter to put it on a normal selfie stick

Hey, any news on when the prototype stuff might be go sale? I was interested in the tripod base you showed in a previous video.
Although it has been ready for a while, I spent 4 weeks using and testing it to make sure it's worthy of the brand name. I am happy with the final design now, and it's going into mass production, so it will take another 2.5 months till it becomes available for sale 👍

Well done. I never really saw how I could use a 360 camera...until now. I'm kind of :) but a little bit :(. I don't think I could use these on my bike, since I'm worried about damagaing it, and I agree that going fast would be a big risk.
There are lens guards available to protect the lens. As long as you use the correct equipment and technique, you will be fine 🙂

I was wearing a vest underneath which I clip onto. But tape and necklace will work fine too!
The bonus tiny planet edit isn't relevant anymore because they have updated the app which now works in a different way.

I do not recommend this set up at high speed. Only casual bike rides. And don't extend the selfie stick too far away.

P.S.: The One R is now officially available on Amazon India and is priced at Rs. 49,999/-. I think they can easily bring it down by another 5,000 and if they really want to rattle the market, bring it below Rs. 40,000 which is what is the price of the GoPro Max in India.

@@Best360 And sorry, forgot to mention that the GoPro Max comes bundled with a free Sandisk Extreme 64GB microSDHC card where as the One R comes without any bundle offer. The least they can do is to bundle the Invisible Selfile Stick, without which the One R is practically useless.

Best360 preety nice , i do that for a while , but i ended by breaking one of the lenses of my one x , so the conclusion is that you can’t use this so called action camera for action sports video becouse of realy bad quality of the accessories , that break very easy .

Here in Brazil this camera is VERY expensive! leaving around U $ 978. (R $ 5,527.19) I am lucky that my cousin lives in New Jersey and can bring one for me by paying only U $ 346.70 (R $ 1,950.51) with a discount I got on Amazon . I can't wait to start playing with the camera hahaha
