I really hope they give it a tighter aim cone than the Python revolver. It should aim cone at least at well as the SAR. Possibly even a bit better as a six shot weapon.
@@DupoiPerec wrong. SAR has 2.5x the rounds per reload and I think a faster fire rate. Wouldn't be obsolete. Also, Rust is not realistic regarding barrel length to accuracy relationship with every other gun so that's silly. The change I suggested would just better fit the HC revolver's niche role.

I guess if you didn't have access to those weapons, it would be the cheapest option out of the bunch. However, due to the slow fire rate it would also be the longest to raid outside of the bolt action rifles. So, if you feel like the base you're raiding is in a quieter area and you really can't get your hands on a sar then go for it.
I still really wish they would’ve made this accept suppressors like the real life 7.62 Nagant revolver (not the 7.62 Nagant rifle which uses a different cartridge) that was invented in the late 1800s and mass produced for the world wars and is still the only widely available revolver capable of **effectively** using a suppressor because of its unique cartridge design that to my knowledge is one of a kind (Google it, it’s so weird/cool) and its unique cylinder/cartridge/barrel interface/locking/seal thing that essentially makes it more powerful via increased chamber pressure and less gas loss than any other revolvers which then results in higher velocity/power and the incredibly unique ability to effectively use a suppressor on it because it doesn’t have a massive gap between the cylinder and barrel which leaks so much gas that the suppressor would be pretty useless like the IRL version of the python or again literally any other revolver that wasn’t custom made or from like 1 failed manufacturer in or around the 80s - very few of those from the 80s were produced and the quality was horrible if I remember correctly so they’re incredibly rare and worthless other than collectors items but meanwhile my old Nagant from the early 1900s is still kicking and the only thing I don’t like about it is how expensive the ammo is lmao
Whoops, you're correct. It looks like the data got mixed up with my previous guide on the gas compressor. So the values you're seeing are for the semi-auto using the gas compressor. Apologies about that. For an immediate fix, the correct values can be found in my gas compressor guide. I will likely pin a comment with an updated chart as a long-term solution.
Turrets work best with weapons with high DPS due to their accuracy and capability to fire at the full rate of fire without missing a shot. Therefore, due to the HC revolvers low DPS, I would recommend against using this weapon in the turret. It would be much better to use a python instead.
Apologies, the Semi Rifle range values shown at 2:10 are incorrect (the values displayed are with the Gas Compression Overdrive attachment equipped). You can find the updated graph here: imgur.com/a/mCkCTYI
From what I think, I would use the python if you plan to be fighting up close or engaging in a lot of players/scientists due to the high DPS. If you plan to roam or be heading to a larger and more open monument, the HC Revolver can be a great pick due to it's high damage and potential to take enemies out in fewer shots.

I really hope they give it a tighter aim cone than the Python revolver. It should aim cone at least at well as the SAR. Possibly even a bit better as a six shot weapon.
That would be a good change. Considering its strengths are for longer-ranged fights, it would make sense.
Then sar would become absolete. Its a short barel weapon not a sniper rifle at the end of a day, they should keep it as it is.

Not really. SAR isnt that hard to obtain compared to this. Reloading every 5 shots while raiding is torture.
