The 3 stages of Santa Sengre: 1 - Oh, what a fun bubbly song 2 - Read the lyrics, Oh, that is a dark message 3 - Watches the MV, WTF? I love Necronomidol, they helped me get more into the idol scene, I knew and liked some AKB48 songs but them, they caught my attention then and only helped fuel my descent into the idol culture search
When they released this one I wasn’t a big fan of the song. Then I listened to it without the music video and realized how great it is. Great video but it distracted me from the song. I seriously recommend listening to this one on its one with out the video. So much going on musically ☠️☠️💀.
So far, Necronomidol are one of the few (alt-)idol-groups that have some songs I actually really like.... unfortunately this is not one of those songs haha Also they are still an idol group, a concept that generally just doesn't work well for me. Where usually I want to see bands live, I have no real desire to do so with any idol groups. For some reason, it's just uninteresting to me. "Ithaqua" is a song by them I do like quite a lot. Different lineup from this video though as the group went through several lineup changes. BTW: the name is a combination of "Necronomicon" (a fictional book of dark, evil magical teachings you can find in Lovecrafts works) and "Idol"
The only idol group I want to see live it PassCode and that's because they actually have a real band attached to their group. The only problem is I don't know if I would survive in an open crowd. 🤣
@@ckiemnstr345 yea, that makes it better at least. I just can't get into all the choreographies and so on either though. Much prefer an actual band playing and interacting with the crowd and each other naturally.
@@joshi_new_wave3283 nah, sorry. To me as a German it sounds almost like the cheesy "Sclager" pop stuff we have a scene for here. It's stuff like "Ithaqua" or "Ritual" that I like more because it reminds me of the goth rock stuff I used to listen to in clubs.

Tomorrow's video gets darker
Funny you mention short horror clips as they do have a series of similar on their channel.
This group actually does have a cult following.
