Awesome video....I'm doing my 06 e64 right now but I have a question I can't find my the clutch pedal switch harness. Do I got to have that hook up for the car can run correctly and do I have to run a dual flywheel or I can use a single flywheel? Thank you for your help
You can run either style flywheel. You will need to manually wire in the clutch pedal switch harness, you should be able to use power from the brake switch, and then tap into the can bus for the required signal wiring

what do you charge for this? i am getting this done next week and the shop is asking 5200 canadian (4000usd) for the job, but they also want to keep all of my smg parts (wich are good still, only 115k km on the car) and thats non negotiable to them. do you think this is a fair deal?

The bell housing needs to be machined, modified and installed with new parts for the manual to work. Where are you located? We can carry out the work for you

Thanks Tito. To turn off the display on cluster you need to code it to manual. You can do this with software called NCS Expert. This method requires some coding experience and can easily ruin the cluster if not done correctly. There are also other methods using an Auto logic Scan Tool which is much easier to do. Worst case you can send it to us and we can do it for you

@@titogame5718 unfortunately a fuse removal is not going to correct the cluster from SMG to manual. It needs to be coded. This will remove the gear display and also the warning cog light from the panel. I dont think ISTA will do it, it really needs to be done with NCS Expert. If you have access to an Auto Logic scan tool then this will be easier for you. Like I said, worst case you can send us your cluster and we will code it and send it back. cheers

I just had mine swapped to 6 speed manual after SMG pump died. Much happier- better response and more fun to drive.

Yes it can - but not the same way this is done. You will require a completely different box. We have them in stock and can carry out the swap for you

isaac trueman unfortunately not the same process. we can do a manual swap but it's a replacement gearbox also. we can convert you to manual for $7000
