“They don’t care about your photography”. That’s every photographer traveling with his family 🤣 I also feel left behind 😟

Hey Omar - wanted to let you know your videos have brought me so much happiness, enjoyment and laughter over the years. Means a lot - and a “metric” of your impact not reflected in views or likes. Thanks man. Props to bro Moe - love the ‘cast too! You’re a bright light in a world that needs it.

Got the camera 3 days ago. Took it out for a basketball session with my boys. I had X-T3, and ... return it. The X-S10 is an amazing little camera, best for video, great for photos. The 18-55 XF lens is sharp enough. The lack of IBIS on X-T3 change my mind to keep it. In hand, X-S10 is like a glove.

Glad you returned to it. I bought mine last October, my first proper camera after a long time just using the smartphone. I was looking at entry level Canons, then saw a local (South African) review of the XS-10 on UA-cam and decided to go for it. I absolutely love the camera, and moving to Fujifilm meant I discovered your and Pal2Tec's great channels. Which I binge on. I thought both of you gave the XS-10 too little love, primarily due it departing from the Fujifilm look and feel. For someone like me who didn't know Fujifilm, there is nothing to miss, so it's really really a great buy and a great way to enter the Fujifilm world. That said, I'm a retro junkie and an aesthete so I now also CRAVE the dials and the the look of those silver editions... I am now constantly looking for a cheap second hand XT-20 or something to buy just so I can play with buttons. I love your channel. You're a great photographer and an exceptional teacher.

I remember watching your videos a few years back when I had first gotten my XT-20. Thinking about upgrading to the S-10 as video has become a bigger part of my shooting now and I came across this vid. Glad to see how much the channel has grown!

Great review; balanced, candid, and still you managed to convey the joy it brought. Joy is probably the final litmus. Enough joy delivered, and many of the annoyances a product has will be forgiven.

I reassigned the ISO for the focus mode switch. And made the left top dial to be my ISO. Love the fact that Fuji made this camera customizable so it can be like your classic Fuji or your PSAM style camera.

Hi Omar. I love yours videos man. Appreciated that you came back to this camera as most of youtubers forgotten it just after release... I have mine for almost a year as a first Fuji cam and I have to say that it is wonderful, versatile and reliable camera for hybrid shooters. I am starting with my YT channel using this cam and it is great (for sure AF could be better...).

Love my X-S10 and it's been eight months. I use it for making UA-cam videos, sometimes portrait shoots and landscapes when I am out in the wild

I have this camera and love it! I use it for landscapes, macros and portraits. It is so ergonomic and comfortable. I have programmed the left button dial for ISO and the right dial for exposure compensation. I have owned many other Fujifilm cameras…XT2 and XH1, I prefer the X-S10. I am not a professional photographer so don’t need dual card slots. I do agree that the Q button would be better on the back and not the top as well as the bringing back the focus selector switch on the front.

This is still the best channel for shoppers who are interested in practical ergonomics! And I have to say that the level of commenting here is extremely high, better than most channels and camera forums.

Hey Omar. I've had the XS-10 for over a year, and have been extremely happy with it. I use it for everything from landscape and astro to street and macro. I had considered the XT-4 instead, but chose the XS-10 because of its smaller and lighter body (a big asset for travel, hiking and street); much better ergonomics; and the fact that it has most of the features of the XT-4 I most care about (eg, sensor, IBIS, flippy screen) for half the price. I've had no issue with the buttons/dials etc -- very easy to put anything you want immediate access to (including focus mode & eye detection) on any of a wide selection of customizable buttons.

I’ve owned the X-S10 for about six months, and had ambivalent feelings about it. I used it very little because it was just a backup to my X-T4. But, recently my X-T4 became unavailable, so I’ve been using the X-S10 full time. Surprise! I really love it now!

I sold some of my MicroFourThirds gear to get this Camera and the 23, 35 and 50 f2 lenses. I was pleasantly surprised with the ISO performance. I also love the Standard Provia colors. It went so far that I stayed with those colors instead of feeling the need to colorgrade or use presets. With my MicroFourThirds images I was never really satisfied with the colors. I can also get great SOOC images in black and white. Love that! It is also great playing around with the jpeg recipes. I don’t like editing photos in LR or PS that much. I rather prefer the photography than the post production. So I am pretty happy for now.
